Waste Management is an international journal devoted to the presentation and discussion of information on the generation, prevention, characterization, monitoring, treatment, handling, reuse and ultimate residual disposition of solid wastes, both in industrialized and in economically developing countries. The journal addresses various types of solid wastes including municipal (e.g., residential, institutional, commercial, light industrial), agricultural, and special (e.g., C and D, health care, household hazardous wastes, sewage sludge).Waste Management is designed for scientists, engineers, and managers, regardless of their discipline, who are involved in scientific, technical and other issues related to solid waste management. Emphasis is placed on integrated approaches. These approaches require the blending of technical and non-technical factors. Although the dissemination and application of innovative technical information is extremely important, the implementation of sustainable waste management practices also requires a thorough understanding of the pertinent legal, social, economic, and regulatory issues involved.The journal strives to present a mix of subject matter that will best serve to help the reader understand the breadth of issues related to solid waste management. ACS ES&T Water is a high-quality specialist journal dedicated to water research and policy. This international, multidisciplinary journal publishes novel, high-impact, peer-reviewed research on all aspects of water quality, chemistry, treatment, protection, and sustainable use/reuse and supply. The Journal considers both marine and freshwater environments as well as water utilized for industrial and municipal applications. The purpose of Advances in Chronic Kidney Disease is to provide in-depth, scholarly review articles about the care and management of persons with early kidney disease and kidney failure, as well as those at risk for kidney disease. Emphasis is on articles related to the early identification of kidney disease; prevention or delay in progression of kidney disease; the multidisciplinary case management of patients with chronic kidney disease or kidney failure, organ effects of kidney disease; epidemiology and outcomes research in chronic kidney disease; benefits and complications of the primary treatment methods, dialysis and transplantation; technical aspects of the delivery of uremia therapy; care of the critically ill patient with kidney failure in the intensive care setting; new therapies for kidney failure; and health care research in chronic kidney disease. The Brain Research Bulletin (BRB) aims to publish novel work that advances our knowledge of cellular and molecular mechanisms that underlie neural network properties associated with brain function and behavior and plastic changes occurring in the healthy nervous system or that is linked to neurological and neuropsychiatric diseases. The BRB is especially interested in studies investigating in vivoneural functions using novel methodologies, such as optogenetics, multielectrode array recordings and life imaging. Although clinical research is out of the Journal's scope, the BRB is interested in publishing translation research that provides insight into biological mechanisms and processes affected in disease, such as the use of animal models for neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders. Accordingly, studies on drugs with novel targets and actions are also of interest.Manuscripts should use a combination of experimental approaches to address at least two of the general areas aforementioned; research that is exclusively descriptive in nature will not be considered for publication. For example, manuscripts describing changes in RNA or protein expression patterns alone are not appropriate for publication but can be considered if they include experiments that investigate the function of those proteins or how changes in their expression levels may be related to behavior, plasticity or neurotransmission. In 2011, it can also be cited in Global Health and CAB Abstract. In 2013, CHM can also be indexed in EMBASE in Holland. The CAS report revealed that of all the 49 articles published in CHM in 2012, 31 papers were included in CAS.

Clinical & Experimental Immunology is a top ranking, international journal publishing biologically significant studies that have clinical relevance. The Journal is focused on Translational Immunology and is amongst the foremost journals in this field, attracting high-quality papers from all parts of the world. In the recent past we have published articles on Corruption in Indian Medicine which was extensively covered and discussed in both the national and international media. We also carried a retrospective 18 year survey on Burns in the Jammu region which highlighted the fact that women were overwhelmingly more affected than men and nearly three quarters of those admitted to hospital died.

Environmental Forensics provides a forum for scientific investigations that address environmental contamination which is subject to law court, arbitration, public debate, or formal argumentation and is subject to the basic science that serves as underpinnings to those activities. Journal subject matter encompasses all aspects of contamination within the environmental media of air, water, soil and biota. The journal is an international, quarterly, peer-reviewed publication offering scientific studies that explore source, fate, transport, and human health and ecological effects of environmental contamination. Environmental Science & Policy promotes communication among government, business and industry, academia, and non-governmental organisations who are instrumental in the solution of environmental problems. It also seeks to advance interdisciplinary research of policy relevance on environmental issues such as climate change, biodiversity, environmental pollution and wastes, renewable and non-renewable natural resources, sustainability, and the interactions among these issues. The journal emphasises the linkages between these environmental issues and social and economic issues such as production, transport, consumption, growth, demographic changes, well-being, and health. The relevant parasites include protozoa, nematodes, cestodes and trematodes which are transmitted by food or water and capable of infecting humans. Pertinent food includes products of animal or plant origin which are domestic or wild, and consumed by humans. Animals and plants from both terrestrial and aquatic sources are included, as well as studies related to potable and other types of water which serve to harbor, perpetuate or disseminate food and waterborne parasites.

Studies dealing with prevalence, transmission, epidemiology, risk assessment and mitigation, including control measures and test methodologies for parasites in food and water are of particular interest.

Evidence of the emergence of such parasites and interactions among domestic animals, wildlife and humans are of interest. The impact of parasites on the health and welfare of humans is viewed as very important and within scope of the journal. Manuscripts with scientifically generated information on associations between food and waterborne parasitic diseases and lifestyle, culture and economies are also welcome. Studies involving animal experiments must meet the International Guiding Principles for Biomedical Research Involving Animals as issued by the Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences.

The primary form of publication in the journal is a full-length paper describing scientifically-sound original research studies. Less than full-length publications include Brief Communications of original research findings, and Investigative Reports describing studies of unique single cases or widespread outbreaks. Review articles on specific high profile topics, emerging or strategic issues may be solicited for publication, but requests for such submissions may also be made. Topical review articles based on keynote presentations at conferences or workshops will be considered.

Human Immunology publishes full-length original articles, brief communications and reviews covering a wide range of subjects including immunogenetics, innate and adaptive immunity, transplantation immunology, autoimmunity, infections diseases and tumor immunology. The scope of the journal is to disseminate information that may contribute to understanding the mechanisms involved in the genetic control of organ and tissue allograft rejection, alloimmunity, chronic infections and progression of malignant diseases.Research areas include:1. Immunogenetic studies on structure and function of molecules involved of immune responses; immunogenetic markers including polymorphism of immunogenetics markers such as HLA, minor histocompatability antigens, immune receptors (KIR, NK, Toll-like, ILT, MICA/B, PAMPs, etc); population frequencies and disease association studies.2. Cellular Immunology and Immune Regulation covering the broad areas of in vitro and in vivo studies of innate and adaptive immunity in health and disease.3. This journal is 100% open access, which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or their institutions. All articles are currently published under Creative Commons licenses (either CCBY or CCBY-NC-ND), and the author retains copyright. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles published under CCBY, or use them for any other lawful purpose, as long as proper attribution is given.    Articles published under CCBY-NC-ND are also available to users under the same conditions as CCBY, but the reuse cannot be for commercial purposes or change the work in any way. 

Open access is provided through the payment of an article processing charge (APC) paid after acceptance. APCs are often financed by an author's institution or the funder supporting their research.

The articles in this journal are peer reviewed in accordance with the requirements set forth in the IEEE PSPB Operations Manual (sections 8.2.1.C & 8.2.2.A). Each published article was reviewed by a minimum of two independent reviewers using a single-blind peer review process, where the identities of the reviewers are not known to the authors, but the reviewers know the identities of the authors. Articles will be screened for plagiarism before acceptance.

Corresponding authors from low-income countries are eligible for waived or reduced APCs.
