Asian Business & Management (ABM) is an academic general management and business journal, that is, we are in principle open to all disciplines and fields of research on management and business-subject to the condition that submissions must be related to Asia. We especially encourage papers that draw on one of the various streams of the business systems literature, broadly conceived, to generate new insights into the societal embeddedness of firms in Asia and the consequences of such embeddedness on managerial and business processes, structures, and outcomes. A rigorous double-blind peer review system, involving in-country and international refereeing, ensures that articles meet the highest standards of quality.

The Australian Economic History Review is concerned with the historical treatment of economic, social and business issues related to Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the Pacific. Papers examine these issues not only from the perspective of economic history but also from the related disciplines of history, economics, history of economic thought, industrial relations, demography, sociology, politics and business studies. New methodological approaches are particularly welcome. The editors also wish to promote the exchange of critical comments on important topics in these fields. In addition to its role as a leading journal of scholarly articles in the broad discipline of economic history, the Australian Economic History Review aims to provide a forum for frank and informal views on the teaching, research and institutional location of economic history.

Biochemistry provides an international forum for publishing exceptional, rigorous, high-impact research in all aspects of biological chemistry.

Topics may include, but are not limited to:

• The structure, function, regulation, and/or dynamics of natural, designed, or evolved biopolymers (e.g., proteins, DNA, RNA, oligosaccharides)
• The chemical, physical, mechanistic, and/or structural basis of biological or cell function
• Research in molecular enzymology, chemical biology, synthetic biology, cell biology, disease biology, nucleic acid biology, neuroscience, structural biology, computational biology, membrane biology, and biophysics

Biology and Fertility of Soils publishes in English original papers, reviews and short communications on all fundamental and applied aspects of biology – microflora and microfauna - and fertility of soils. It offers a forum for research aimed at broadening the understanding of biological functions, processes and interactions in soils, particularly concerning the increasing demands of agriculture, deforestation and industrialization. The journal includes articles on techniques and methods that evaluate processes, biogeochemical interactions and ecological stresses, and sometimes presents special issues on relevant topics. Biotechnology Reports covers all aspects of Biotechnology particularly those reports that are useful and informative and that will be of value to other researchers in related fields. Biotechnology Reports loves ground breaking science, but will also accept good science that can be of use to the biotechnology community. Briefings in Functional Genomics is an international forum reviewing the use, development and exploitation of functional genomic approaches in all areas of biological research. The journal provides a centralised resource for researchers in the field of functional genomics as well as guidance to scientists new to the area. Subjects covered by BFG include but are not restricted to: the identification and functional characterisation of coding and non-coding features in genomes, microarray technologies, gene expression profiling, next generation sequencing, pharmacogenomics, phenomics, SNP technologies, transgenic systems, mutation screens and genotyping. Articles range in scope and depth from the introductory level to specific details of protocols and analyses, encompassing bacterial, fungal, plant, animal and human data.

The Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America (ISSN 0037-1106) is the premier journal of advanced research in earthquake seismology and related disciplines. It first appeared in 1911 and was issued on a quarterly basis until 1963. Since 1963, it has appeared bimonthly (in February, April, June, August, October, and December). Each issue is composed of scientific papers on the various aspects of seismology, including investigation of specific earthquakes, theoretical and observational studies of seismic waves, inverse methods for determining the structure of the Earth or the dynamics of the earthquake source, seismometry, earthquake hazard and risk estimation, seismotectonics, and earthquake engineering. Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology addresses a wide range of pharmacologic and oncologic concerns on both experimental and clinical levels. The primary focus of this rapid publication medium is on new anticancer agents, their experimental screening, preclinical toxicology and pharmacology, single and combined drug administration modalities, and clinical phase I, II and III trials. The journal publishes results recorded in the following areas: clinical toxicology, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, drug interactions, and indications for chemotherapy in cancer treatment strategy. Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology is essential reading for pharmacologists and oncologists.

Cell and Tissue Banking provides a forum for disseminating information to scientists and clinicians involved in the banking and transplantation of cells and tissues. Cell and Tissue Banking is an international, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original papers in such areas as quality assurance and control of banked cells and tissues; preservation and sterilization methods; clinical applications of banked cells and tissues; standards of practice in procurement, processing, storage and distribution; and ethical and medico-legal issues. Research is presented in the form of full-length papers describing original work; short communications for rapid publication; and mini- and full-length reviews of topical issues.

Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology publishes original research concerned with the analysis of neuronal and brain function at the cellular and subcellular levels. The journal offers timely, peer-reviewed articles that describe anatomic, genetic, physiologic, pharmacologic, and biochemical approaches to the study of neuronal function and the analysis of elementary mechanisms. Studies are presented on isolated mammalian tissues and intact animals, with investigations aimed at the molecular mechanisms or neuronal responses at the level of single cells. Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology also presents studies of the effects of neurons on other organ systems, such as analysis of the electrical or biochemical response to neurotransmitters or neurohormones on smooth muscle or gland cells.

Central Europe publishes original research articles on the history, languages, literature, political culture, music, arts and society of those lands once part of the Habsburg Monarchy and Poland-Lithuania from the Middle Ages to the present. It also publishes discussion papers, marginalia, book, archive, exhibition, music and film reviews. Central Europe has been established as a refereed journal to foster the worldwide study of the area and to provide a forum for the academic discussion of Central European life and institutions. From time to time an issue will be devoted to a particular theme, based on a selection of papers presented at an international conference or seminar series.

Chemical Reviews publishes comprehensive, authoritative, critical, and readable reviews of important recent research across all areas of chemistry.
