Manufacturing Letters, an official journal of the The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), in cooperation with the North American Manufacturing Research Institution of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (NAMRI/SME), is an online, rapid-publication journal providing a home for short, high-quality papers from the international academic and industry community on important advances from all interdisciplinary research areas impacting manufacturing.The journal promotes an exchange of ideas and communicates significant developments of immediate interest to others engaged in formative research that contributes to progress in manufacturing techniques, models, processes, and systems.Original concise papers are encouraged describing new kinds of manufacturing based on new processes or materials, new concepts in manufacturing systems or enterprises, or novel ways to look at old problems and solutions in manufacturing that show promise. Papers merit acceptance, for example, by detailing the key elements of an emerging field of research, describing the potential of an experimental or theoretical improvement, or demonstrating a new contribution to practice or policy. Papers should not merely confirm or extend previous work.To meet a vital need to rapidly disseminate current scientific findings, Manufacturing Letters uses a streamlined review process. Papers are peer reviewed and (1) accepted as written or (2) rejected within four (4) weeks of submission. Rejected papers can be revised but must be resubmitted as new manuscripts.Papers are limited to 1500 words, not including the abstract, references, and a maximum of four (4) figures or tables. Papers must be original contributions, not simultaneously submitted elsewhere, previously published or scheduled to be published. The language of the journal is English.Emerging research communicated in Manufacturing Letters is presumed to be ongoing; therefore, authors are encouraged to submit a full-length journal paper to an appropriate publication outlet, such as the Journal of Manufacturing Systems or Journal of Manufacturing Processes.

Our aim is to publish papers of interest to a wide mathematical audience. Our main interest is in expository articles that make high-level research results more widely accessible. In general, material submitted should be at least at the graduate level.Main articles must be written in such a way that a graduate-level research student interested in the topic of the paper can read them profitably. When the topic is quite specialized, or the main focus is a narrow research result, the paper is probably not appropriate for this journal. Most original research articles are not suitable for this journal, unless they have particularly broad appeal.Mathematical notes can be more focused than main articles. These should not simply be short research articles, but should address a mathematical question with reasonably broad appeal. Elementary solutions of elementary problems are typically not appropriate. Neither are overly technical papers, which should best be submitted to a specialized research journal.Clarity of exposition, accuracy of details and the relevance and interest of the subject matter will be the decisive factors in our acceptance of an article for publication. Submitted papers are subject to a quick overview before entering into a more detailed review process. All published papers have been refereed.

The Econometrics Journal was established in 1998 by the Royal Economic Society with the aim of creating a top international field journal for the publication of econometric research with a standard of intellectual rigour and academic standing similar to those of the pre-existing top field journals in econometrics. The Econometrics Journal is committed to publishing first-class papers in macro-, micro- and financial econometrics. It is a general journal for econometric research open to all areas of econometrics, whether applied, computational, methodological or theoretical contributions. Submissions to The Econometrics Journal receive detailed and informative appraisal. Some papers may be rejected without seeking the advice of referees and the provision of reports but are scrutinised in detail by a member of the editorial board. This practice is only invoked for submissions unlikely to prove publishable in The Econometrics Journal to avoid unnecessarily prolonging the editorial process and taxing the limited resource of referees. The Econometrics Journal is dedicated to achieving an exacting standard for the editorial process, both in terms of usefulness and speed, to promote the submission of high-quality econometric research. The Econometrics Journal provides annual reports concerning the editorial process. The Econometrics Journal provides immediate electronic access to papers accepted for publication circumventing the often long publication delays associated with other paper-based journals. More than three thousand members of the Royal Economic Society and the users of over three thousand are able to view without charge papers published or forthcoming in The Econometrics Journal.

The Bulletin of Latin American Research (BLAR) publishes original research of current interest on Latin America, the Caribbean, inter-American relations and the Latin American Diaspora from all academic disciplines within the Social Sciences and Humanities. BLAR publishes individual original research articles, or Special Issues co-ordinated by a Guest Editor. In addition, the journal includes an occasional Debates section, which carries 'state-of-the-art' essays on emerging research in the field. BLAR also publishes a substantial section of book reviews, aiming to cover publications in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Administration and Policy in Mental Health and Mental Health Services Research aims to improve the effectiveness of mental health and related human service programs by advancing research on services and the practice and process of administration in the mental health setting. Human Resource Development Quarterly (HRDQ) is the first scholarly journal focused directly on the evolving field of human resource development (HRD). It provides a central focus for research on human resource development issues as well as the means for disseminating such research. HRDQ recognizes the interdisciplinary nature of the HRD field and brings together relevant research from the related fields, such as economics, education, management, sociology, and psychology. It provides an important link in the application of theory and research to HRD practice. HRDQ publishes scholarly work that addresses the theoretical foundations of HRD, HRD research, and evaluation of HRD interventions and contexts.

Sexuality Research and Social Policy is an international forum for the publication of original peer-reviewed state-of-the-art empirical research on sexuality, theoretical and methodological discussions, and the implications of this evidence for policies across the globe regarding sexual health, sexuality education, and sexual rights in diverse communities. This multidisciplinary journal also publishes brief research and conference reports; white papers; book, film, and other reviews; together with guest editorials and commentaries. The Transactions of the International Society for Music Information Retrieval publishes novel scientific research in the field of music information retrieval (MIR), an interdisciplinary research area concerned with processing, analysing, organising and accessing music information. We welcome submissions from a wide range of disciplines, including computer science, musicology, cognitive science, library & information science and electrical engineering.

TISMIR was established to complement the widely cited ISMIR conference proceedings and provide a vehicle for the dissemination of the highest quality and most substantial scientific research in MIR. TISMIR retains the Open Access model of the ISMIR Conference proceedings, providing rapid access, free of charge, to all journal content. In order to encourage reproducibility of the published research papers, we provide facilities for archiving the software and data used in the research. To avoid excessive cost to the authors or their institutions, TISMIR is published in electronic-only format.

Vaccines (ISSN 2076-393X) is an international, peer-reviewed open access journal focused on laboratory and clinical vaccine research, utilization and immunization. Wildlife Research provides an international forum for the publication of original and significant research and debate on the ecology and management of wild animals in natural and modified habitats. Experimental and Clinical Psychopharmacology publishes advances in translational and interdisciplinary research on psychopharmacology and drug abuse.
