Fundamenta Informaticae is an international journal publishing original research results in all areas of mathematical foundations of computer science and their applications. Papers are encouraged which contain:* solutions, by mathematical methods, of problems emerging in computer science,* solutions of mathematical problems inspired by computer science,* application studies that follow the situations in (i) and (ii).Besides traditional disciplines of interest for computer science, such as mathematical theories of programs and programming, logic in computer science and artificial intelligence, theory of computing, complexity theory, design and analysis of algorithms, theory of formal languages and automata theory, concurrency, cellular automata, database theory, logic programming, nonmonotonic reasoning, parallel algorithms, term rewriting, theory of parallel and distributed computing, the journal is open to contributions presenting methods on more areas such as adaptive strategies of computing, approximate reasoning, agent system theory, bio-computing, machine learning and pattern recognition, data mining and knowledge discovery, decision theory, DNA computing, evolutionary computation, natural computing, neural networks, quantum computing, soft computing including fuzzy sets, rough sets and granular computing. This enumeration is not intended to be exclusive.

Geoarchaeology is an interdisciplinary journal published six times per year (in January, March, May, July, September and November). It presents the results of original research at the methodological and theoretical interface between archaeology and the geosciences and includes within its scope: interdisciplinary work focusing on understanding archaeological sites, their environmental context, and particularly site formation processes and how the analysis of sedimentary records can enhance our understanding of human activity in Quaternary environments. Manuscripts should examine the interrelationship between archaeology and the various disciplines within Quaternary science and the Earth Sciences more generally, including, for example: geology, geography, geomorphology, pedology, climatology, oceanography, geochemistry, geochronology, and geophysics. We also welcome papers that deal with the biological record of past human activity through the analysis of faunal and botanical remains and palaeoecological reconstructions that shed light on past human-environment interactions. The journal also welcomes manuscripts concerning the examination and geological context of human fossil remains as well as papers that employ analytical techniques to advance understanding of the composition and origin or material culture such as, for example, ceramics, metals, lithics, building stones, plasters, and cements.

Geothermics is an international journal devoted to the research and development of geothermal energy. The International Board of Editors of Geothermics, which comprises specialists in the various aspects of geothermal resources, exploration and development, guarantees the balanced, comprehensive view of scientific and technological developments in this promising energy field.It promulgates the state of the art and science of geothermal energy, its exploration and exploitation through a regular exchange of information from all parts of the world. Human Dimensions of Wildlife, which publishes six times annually, is devoted to the study of social considerations in fisheries and wildlife management. The journal provides an open forum for exchange of human dimensions information. There are three primary publication goals of Human Dimensions of Wildlife: To provide a forum for the exchange of theories, concepts, methods, findings, and philosophies relevant to human dimensions of fisheries and wildlife management To advance the application of human dimensions information in fisheries and wildlife decision making To provide a focus on the human dimensions of contemporary fisheries and wildlife management issues Six types of articles are published in Human Dimensions of Wildlife. Icarus is devoted to the publication of original contributions in the field of Solar System studies. Manuscripts reporting the results of new research - observational, experimental, or theoretical - concerning the astronomy, geology, meteorology, physics, chemistry, biology, and other scientific aspects of our Solar System or extrasolar systems are welcome. The journal generally does not publish papers devoted exclusively to the Sun, the Earth, celestial mechanics, meteoritics, or astrophysics. Icarus does not publish papers that provide "improved" versions of Bode's law, or other numerical relations, without a sound physical basis. Icarus does not publish meeting announcements or general notices. Reviews, historical papers, and manuscripts describing spacecraft instrumentation may be considered, but only with prior approval of the editor. An entire issue of the journal is occasionally devoted to a single subject, usually arising from a conference on the same topic. The language of publication is English. International Communications in Heat and Mass Transfer serves as a world forum for the rapid dissemination of new ideas, new measurement techniques, preliminary findings of ongoing investigations, discussions, and criticisms in the field of heat and mass transfer. Two types of manuscript will be considered for publication: communications (short reports of new work or discussions of work which has already been published) and summaries (abstracts of reports, theses or manuscripts which are too long for publication in full). Psychological Assessment publishes mainly empirical articles concerning clinical assessment. Papers that fall within the domain of the journal include research on the development, validation, application, and evaluation of psychological assessment instruments. Diverse modalities (e.g., cognitive, physiologic, and motoric) and methods of assessment (e.g., questionnaires, interviews, natural environment and analog environment observation, self-monitoring, participant observation, physiological measurement, instrument-assisted and computer-assisted assessment) are within the domain of the journal, especially as they relate to clinical assessment. Also included are topics on clinical judgment and decision making (including diagnostic assessment), methods of measurement of treatment process and outcome, and dimensions of individual differences (e.g., race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, economic status) as they relate to clinical assessment. Case studies will be considered if they make unique contributions to clinical assessment. Highly focused reviews of assessment instruments or methods of assessment with particular behavior disorders, theoretical papers related to assessment, and papers bridging basic and applied dimensions of assessment will be considered. Papers on measurement theory and methods will be considered if they are specifically addressed to clinical assessment.
