Experimental Cell Research promotes the understanding of cell biology by publishing experimental studies on the general organization and activity of cells. Both journals retain editorial independence and reserve the right to request additional changes, re-review, or reject manuscripts.

The Journal of Population Research is a peer-reviewed, international journal which publishes papers on demography and population-related issues. Coverage is not restricted geographically. The Journal publishes substantive empirical analyses, theoretical works, applied research and contributions to methodology. Submissions may take the form of original research papers, perspectives, review articles and shorter technical research notes. Special issues emanating from conferences and other meetings are also considered.

The Journal of Research in Reading provides an international forum for researchers into literacy. It is a refereed journal principally devoted to reports of original, empirical or theoretical studies in reading and related fields, and to informed reviews of relevant literature. The Journal welcomes papers researching issues related to the learning, teaching and use of literacy in a variety of contexts; papers on the history and development of literacy; papers about policy and strategy for literacy as related to children and adults.
