Acta Crystallographica Section E: Structure Reports Online is the IUCr's highly popular open-access structural journal. It provides a simple and easily accessible publication mechanism for the growing number of inorganic, metal-organic and organic crystal structure determinations. The electronic submission, validation, refereeing and publication facilities of the journal ensure very rapid and high-quality publication, whilst key indicators and validation reports provide measures of structural reliability. The average publication time is less than one month. Articles are published in a short-format style with enhanced supplementary materials. Each publication consists of a complete package - the published article, HTML and PDF supplements, CIF, structure factors, graphics, and any other submitted supplementary files.

In-depth studies of all kinds of fossils, of the mode of life of ancient organisms and structure of their skeletons are welcome, as those offering stratigraphically ordered evidence of evolution. Work on vertebrates and applications of fossil evidence to developmental studies, both ontogeny and astogeny of clonal organisms, have a long tradition in our journal. Evolution of the biosphere and its ecosystems, as inferred from geochemical evidence, has also been the focus of studies published in the journal.The language of the journal is English. Submissions may be in the form of articles, brief reports, discussions, or paper/book reviews. Papers are evaluated on the originality of data, interpretations, and ideas, and on the degree to which their findings can be generalized. All papers are subject to peer reviews.Articles accepted for publication are usually published in order of submission. Exceptions are made for papers of particular scientific significance, and for manuscripts which fully comply with editorial requirements given in the instruction for authors and require only minor changes.

African Invertebrates is an international peer-reviewed journal that covers the taxonomy, systematics, biology, biogeography, ecology, conservation and palaeontology of Afrotropical invertebrates, whether terrestrial, freshwater or marine, published jointly by the Council of the KwaZulu-Natal Museum and Pensoft Publishers. A printed version of the journal is produced twice a year. All contributions are published in English (British Standard), with an option to add an abstract in any other language that uses Latin or Cyrillic alphabet. When preparing manuscripts, authors are encouraged to make use of extensive holdings of the KwaZulu-Natal Museum and other South African museums and collections, and to deposit holotypes (paratypes) and voucher specimens in recognised South African institutions.

The American Journal of Ophthalmology Case Reports is a peer-reviewed, scientific publication that welcomes the submission of original, previously unpublished case report manuscripts directed to ophthalmologists and visual science specialists. The cases shall be challenging and stimulating but shall also be presented in an educational format to engage the readers as if they are working alongside with the caring clinician scientists to manage the patients. The American Journal of Physiology - Cell Physiology is dedicated to innovative approaches to the study of cell and molecular physiology. Contributions that use cellular and molecular approaches to shed light on mechanisms of physiological control at higher levels of organization also appear regularly. Manuscripts dealing with the structure and function of cell membranes, contractile systems, cellular organelles, and membrane channels, transporters, and pumps are encouraged. Annals of Biomedical Engineering is an interdisciplinary, international journal which presents original and review articles in the major fields of bioengineering and biomedical engineering.A major aim of bioengineering is to provide integrated approaches to the solutions of biological and biomedical problems.
