It is a broadly conceived interdisciplinary journal that stimulates and communicates research and theory on the role of cognitive processes in human adaptation and adjustment. Contributions integrate diverse topics, encompassing clinical, cognitive, counseling, developmental, experimental, learning, personality, and social psychology. The journal examines all topics that pertain to psychological problems, including affective disorders, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, eating disorders, substance abuse, disorders of childhood and adolescence, psychological dysfunction in aging, and personality. Most of the journal’s publication space is devoted to experimental studies that seek to advance the field in such ways as providing new knowledge or information on a particular clinical problem or issue.

Nanotechnology, dealing with functional structures and materials smaller than 100nm, is emerging as a truly interdisciplinary research area spanning several traditional scientific disciplines. In keeping with the growing trend, there is a strong need for a platform to share original research related to applications of nanotechnology in biomedical fields. In order to fulfill this demand, Journal of Biomedical Nanotechnology (JBN) is being created as an international peer-reviewed periodical that covers applications of nanotechnology in all fields of life sciences. JBN publishes original full papers and timely state-of-the-art reviews with author's photo and biography, and short communications encompassing the fundamental and applied research aspects. Entomologia Generalis is an international journal of general and applied entomology.It publishes papers on experimental, comparative and descriptive problems and studies in all fields of research on insects and other terrestrial arthropods. It aims to continually supply new information on the results of recent and current studies and promising theories in this field of science, relating simultaneously to various fields or closely connecting them.Entomologia Generalis emphasizes the publication of original research papers (6–20 printed pages). Furthermore, reviews of entomological problems (6–20 printed pages) are invited, as are summaries of high standard research results. Furthermore, short communications are published about new findings, concepts, observations etc, as well as exchanges of views and methods (4–10 printed pages). Journal of Investigative Dermatology Symposium Proceedings (JIDSP) publishes peer-reviewed, invited papers relevant to all aspects of cutaneous biology and skin disease. Acta Meteorologica Sinica publishes the latest achievements and developments in the field of atmospheric sciences. Coverage is broad, including topics such as pure and applied meteorology; climatology and climate change; marine meteorology; atmospheric physics and chemistry; cloud physics and weather modification; numerical weather prediction; data assimilation; atmospheric sounding and remote sensing; atmospheric environment and air pollution; radar and satellite meteorology; agricultural and forest meteorology and more. The contents include academic papers, research program highlights, book reviews, conference reports, and comprehensive discussions on meteorological research undertaken both in China and worldwide. Translational Exercise Biomedicine is a peer-reviewed, open access, academic journal, which aims to bridge the gap between mechanistic research and its application to human health and clinical practice with a focus on understanding the therapeutic benefits of exercise and improvement of exercise prescription.

Translation means different things in different contexts. As the concept of "exercise is medicine" has grown in recent years, there is an urgent need for translational research in the field of exercise that bridges the gaps between basic scientific discoveries (e.g., detailing the physiological and molecular responses to exercise) and its application to improving human health and targeting specific disease pathophysiology. Translational research is also needed to bridge the gap between clinical trials describing the health benefits of exercise to changes in clinical practice, health promotion and exercise guidelines.

Microbiota Medicine Research seeks submissions of original research, reviews, guidelines, case reports, and perspectives that cover areas of interest relating to microbiota medicine for improving patient care, clinical practice and education. A rapid review service is offered for papers that impact microbe or microbiome-based medical practice, health policy changing and education, including but not limited to therapies based on microbiota transplantation, probiotics, bacteriophages, engineered bacteria, oncolytic viruses, oncolytic bacteria, prebiotics, microbial metabolism, antibiotics, etc., and diagnostics utilizing microbes, microbial communities, and related approaches.

NCMR publishes fundamental research that focuses on theory and research on negotiation and conflict management across levels, including organizational conflict, interpersonal conflict and inter-group conflict, and across a range of domains including environmental conflict, crisis negotiations, political conflict and cross-cultural conflict, as well as formal and informal third party intervention, including mediation and arbitration.

Call for Papers: Project based learning (PBL)

Disciplinary and Interdisciplinary Science Education Research (DISER) invites scholars to submit a wide range of manuscripts on Project Based Learning (PBL), including empirical, theoretical and policy studies to promote how to support all learners to develop deeper and more useable knowledge in science. The criteria for selection will depend on new contributions to the literature on PBL and how the research moves the field forward to promote and sustain deep and useable student learning.

Rehabilitation Counseling Bulletin (RCB) features articles important to rehabilitation counseling practitioners in counseling, education, or research settings. The overall mission of Mountain Research and Development (MRD) is to foster sustainable development in mountains by supporting peer-reviewed interdisciplinary and disciplinary research on mountains, developing scientific capacity, capitalizing on development experiences, promoting policy dialogue, and strengthening networks within the mountain community.Mountain Research and Development (MRD) is devoted to mountains and their surrounding lowlands —ecoregions of particular global importance, in which communities are often marginalized. MRD seeks to present the best in recent research on, and development approaches in, the world's mountain systems.All articles are peer-reviewed and offer internationally and nationally relevant research on key topics for mountains, mountain people, and sustainable development in mountains.MRD has 2 sections for peer-reviewed articles. The international mathematics education community is maturing at a rapid and exciting rate. Although this community has developed its own research perspectives and theoretical frameworks, it continues to expand its horizons by drawing upon new theories and research in mathematics, psychology, sociology, philosophy, anthropology, and information technology. Papers submitted to the journal must be original and will be refereed to a high standard. Original research articles, review articles, case studies and technical notes are generally accepted for publication. Priority will be given to papers, which potentially have a large impact on design.

The aims of CoDesign are: * to report new research and scholarship in principles, procedures and techniques relevant to collaboration in design; * to act as an international forum for discussion of collaborative design issues; * to foster communication between academic researchers and industry practitioners concerned with collaborative design; * to encourage a flow of information across the boundaries of the disciplines contributing to collaborative design; * to stimulate ideas and provoke widespread discussion with a forward-looking perspective. CoDesign is inclusive, encompassing collaborative, co-operative, concurrent, human-centred, participatory, socio-technical and community design among others. Research in any design domain concerned specifically with the nature of collaboration design is of relevance to the Journal. Research papers which present theory, report empirical studies, and describe and evaluate collaborative design methods, tools and techniques are welcomed. Papers reflecting on practical experience of collaborative design are also welcomed. Topics include collaborative design theory; collaborative design methods, techniques and tools; methods for studying collaborative design; studies of collaborative design; computer-supported collaborative design (CSCD) system requirements; CSCD systems, design and use; communication in collaborative design; computer mediated collaborative design communication; handling design issues (e.g. sustainability) collaboratively, and managing collaborative design. The Journal provides a primary outlet for research publications, state of the art reviews, book reviews and correspondence discussing collaborative design. All published research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by independent expert referees.

The majority of users of LRP come from the academic world, and the journal serves two functions in that world: the transmission of research findings among academic researchers, and the transmission of ideas that are useful in the classroom. Articles may be written for practicing managers and students in professional programs, or they may be directed primarily to academic researchers. LRP takes an inclusive approach to empirical research, publishing studies based on primary survey data, archival data, case study and other recognized approaches to data collection.

LRP welcomes work from scholars based in all parts of the world, including emerging and transitional economies. All work must meet a high standard and is assessed for originality and quality through a rigorous peer review process. The areas of work published by LRP include, among others: corporate strategy and governance, business strategy and new business models, international dimensions of strategy, strategies for emerging markets, entrepreneurship, innovation, organizational structure and design, corporate social responsibility, management of technology, methods for strategy research, and business processes.
