The mission of the Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics is to publish creative and scholarly economic studies in agriculture, natural resources, and related areas. Manuscripts dealing with the economics of food and agriculture, natural resources and the environment, human resources, and rural development issues are especially encouraged. The Journal provides a forum for topics of interest to those performing economic research as well as to those involved with economic policy and education. Submission of comments on articles previously published in the Journal is welcomed.

Founded in 1960 at the Institute of Plant Genetics of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Poznan, under the title Genetica Polonica, Polish Journal of Genetics and Breeding. In 1995, it was renamed Journal of Applied Genetics (JAG). Since 2011, the Journal of Applied Genetics has been published by Springer. It publishes peer-reviewed original papers, short communications (including case reports) and review articles focused on the research of applicative aspects of plant, human, animal and microbial genetics and genomics.

Studies that utilize experimental approaches to clarify the roles of anthropogenic and natural causes of changes in marine ecosystems are especially welcome, as are those studies that represent new developments of a theoretical or conceptual aspect of marine science. An International Journal for Microgravity and Space Exploration Related Research Platforms like drop towers, parabolic flights, sounding rockets, reentry capsules and orbiting platforms provide the unique environment of compensated gravity which can only be achieved on earth in very limited situations.The journal Microgravity - Science and Technology publishes papers describing the preparation, the performance and the evaluation as well as preliminary results of experiments on the above mentioned platforms. The Journal of Applied Psychology® emphasizes the publication of original investigations that contribute new knowledge and understanding to fields of applied psychology (other than clinical and applied experimental or human factors, which are more appropriate for other American Psychological Association journals). The journal primarily considers empirical and theoretical investigations that enhance understanding of cognitive, motivational, affective, and behavioral psychological phenomena. Those psychological phenomena can be at one or multiple levels—individuals, groups, organizations, or cultures; in work settings such as business, education, training, health, service, government, or military institutions; and in the public or private sector, for-profit or nonprofit. The journal publishes several types of articles: Theoretically driven and rigorously conducted empirical investigations that extend conceptual understanding (original investigations or meta-analyses); Theory development that synthesizes literature and creates new theory of psychological phenomena that will stimulate novel research (not extended literature reviews that do not advance theory); Descriptive research on applied psychological phenomena lacking basic knowledge in the literature that will provide a foundation for building new knowledge and theory (such studies should be directed at providing novel data on important and unknown phenomena, e.g., time frames for team development or socialization; dynamics of affect, performance, or other behaviors; discovery and documentation of new, important, and meaningful phenomena); and Rigorously conducted qualitative research on phenomena that are difficult to capture with quantitative methods.

Food Chain is an international journal for all those involved in developing the supply of high-quality foods from ‘farm gate to plate’ and those who use food processing to alleviate poverty and hunger. By bridging the gap between research and practice, we encourage papers written by researchers for the benefit of people who put ideas into practice in the field, and those written by practitioners to inform the need for further research. 

The content of Food Chain covers all aspects of promoting food chains, from on-farm processing to storage, transportation, food processing businesses, hygiene and quality assurance, marketing, finance and the business environment. Although agriculture and nutrition does not feature per se in the journal, it does include aspects of post-harvest technology, crop quality, and nutrition/food security and food relief operations, where these impact on local food processors.

The journal includes in-depth articles of up to 8000 words; technical reports and case studies of 2–3000 words; Crossfire debate, in which contentious issues are discussed by two authorities on the subject.; appropriate methods of marketing, business organization and financial management for small food businesses; reports of academic research and other developments that are of interest for food chain development; regular features, including reviews of Internet and published sources of information, book reviews, news of forthcoming meetings, conferences and exhibitions.
