The acceptance criterion for Collabra: Psychology is scientific, methodological, and ethical rigor. While Collabra: Psychology editors and reviewers do not attempt to predict a submission’s impact to the field, nor employ any topic bias in accepting articles, they will check for rigorously and transparently conducted, statistically sound, adequately powered, and fairly analyzed research worthy of inclusion in the scholarly record. This is a focus on more objective acceptance criteria and the bar is set high.

Fly is the first international peer-reviewed journal to focus exclusively on Drosophila research.Fly publishes broadly three general types of papers: original research, methods and technical advances and reviews and meeting reports.Topics in Drosophila research include: cell biology, development, gene regulation, chromosome dynamics, behavior, evolution, population biology, neurobiology, molecular biology and biochemistry, genomics and anything else that we might have left out or might come along.We will distinguish Fly from other journals in two important ways:First, we plan to have regular features of specific interest to the Drosophila community. For example: What's new on Flybase? How do I get my hands on all of those new stocks for doing that new cool technique? Who are the new researchers in the Drosophila field and what are they doing? What really great Drosophila papers were published recently? What's happening in those fields of Drosophila research outside my own? Is it possible to get a grant to do Drosophila research these days?Second, we want the journal to be highly interactive. We plan to develop a lively Letters to the Editor section, where issues of interest to the Drosophila community can be discussed, and where researchers can ask questions (and get answers!) about new resources and about how to obtain materials, comment on recent papers, make suggestions for new features in Fly.

Archaeological Research in Asia presents high quality scholarly research conducted in between the Bosporus and the Pacific on a broad range of archaeological subjects of importance to audiences across Asia and around the world. The journal covers the traditional components of archaeology: placing events and patterns in time and space; analysis of past lifeways; and explanations for cultural processes and change. To this end, the publication will highlight theoretical and methodological advances in studying the past, present new data, and detail patterns that reshape our understanding of it. Archaeological Research in Asia publishes work on the full temporal range of archaeological inquiry from the earliest human presence in Asia with a special emphasis on time periods under-represented in other venues. Journal contributions are of three kinds: articles, case reports and short communications. Full length articles should present synthetic treatments, novel analyses, or theoretical approaches to unresolved issues. Case reports present basic data on subjects that are of broad interest because they represent key sites, sequences, and subjects that figure prominently, or should figure prominently, in how scholars both inside and outside Asia understand the archaeology of cultural and biological change through time. Short communications present new findings (e.g., radiocarbon dates) that are important to the extent that they reaffirm or change the way scholars in Asia and around the world think about Asian cultural or biological history.

The international editorial board of JISA and its guest editors are committed to the highest scientific standards by implementing a strict peer-review policy for submitted articles. It will also regularly invite the best papers from renowned information security venues for publication in JISA.

Environmental Communication: A Journal of Nature and Culture publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed scholarship that examines theories, practices, and processes of communication as they relate to the environment around the world. As such, the journal serves as a nexus, a place of global connection and conversation, among scholars working in and across a variety of disciplines who explore how humans communicate about and within both natural and cultural environments. The journal also seeks to promote interaction between academic scholars and those who practice environmental communication, including community members, industry professionals, government officials, and others, through a number of special features, including a regularly published section devoted to practice. The journal is grounded in two theoretical and practical commitments: 1) symbolic and natural systems are mutually constituted, and 2) effective engagement with environmental issues requires reflection on communication practices and processes. Asian Pacific Journal of Reproduction (APJR) is a quarterly international journal which serves researchers and clinicians in the fields of human, animal and plant reproduction. It publishes high quality original research and topical reviews on the subject of reproductive sciences. We encourage manuscripts on cellular and molecular mechanisms of reproduction, fertility and infertility, gynecologic and reproductive oncology, embryology, obstetrics, gynecology, andrology, maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, reproductive immunology, reproductive genetics, and genetic breeding. The International Journal of Comparative and Applied Criminal Justice (IJCACJ) publishes work on criminal justice using a range of theoretical methodologies and approaches, focuses on applied research, and adopts an explicitly comparative or international approach.
