International in perspective, Aquaculture Research is published 12 times a year and specifically addresses research and reference needs of all working and studying within the many varied areas of aquaculture. The Journal regularly publishes papers on applied or scientific research relevant to freshwater, brackish, and marine aquaculture. It covers all aquatic organisms, floristic and faunistic, related directly or indirectly to human consumption. The journal also includes review articles, short communications and technical papers. Young scientists are particularly encouraged to submit short communications based on their own research.
The Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research (JHTR) is now indexed in the Social Sciences Citation Index. The Impact Factor is pending and will be published in June 2011. JHTR publishes original research, both conceptual and empirical, that clearly enhances the theoretical development of the hospitality and tourism field. The word contribution is key. JHTR encourages research based on a variety of methods, including both qualitative and quantitative approaches. JHTR also includes a Research Notes and Industry Viewpoints section.
The Journal of Mixed Methods Research (MMR) is an innovative, quarterly, interdisciplinary, international publication that focuses on empirical, methodological, and theoretical articles about mixed methods research across the social, behavioral, health, and human sciences. The journal's scope includes delineating where mixed methods research may be used most effectively, illuminating design and procedure issues, and determining the logistics of conducting mixed methods research.
Journal of Genocide Research is a cross-disciplinary journal that promotes the scholarly study of genocide.
Genocide is a contested legal, historical, sociological and political term that is applied in various spheres: in international law, in academic analyses of genocide, past and present, and in political claim making. Journal of Genocide Research welcomes contributions that combine empirical research with conceptual reflection on these and related topics, like social psychology, military intervention, post-genocide conflict management as well as gender and memory issues.
All submissions undergo rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing by two external scholars.
