The Journal of Clinical Ultrasound (JCU) is an international journal dedicated to the worldwide dissemination of scientific information on diagnostic and therapeutic applications of medical sonography. The scope of the journal includes--but is not limited to--the following areas: sonography of the gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary tract, vascular system, nervous system, head and neck, chest, breast, musculoskeletal system, and other superficial structures; Doppler applications; obstetric and pediatric applications; and interventional sonography. Studies comparing sonography with other imaging modalities are encouraged, as are studies evaluating the economic impact of sonography. Also within the journal's scope are innovations and improvements in instrumentation and examination techniques and the use of contrast agents. JCU publishes original research articles, case reports, pictorial essays, technical notes, and letters to the editor. The journal is also dedicated to being an educational resource for its readers, through the publication of review articles and various scientific contributions from members of the editorial board and other world-renowned experts in sonography.

The mission of the Journal of Family Nursing (JFN) is to extend knowledge about family response to health and illness and improve healthcare offered to families. JFN is a peer-reviewed journal publishing scholarly work on nursing research, practice, education, and policy issues related to families in health and illness. Appropriate articles of empirical and theoretical analysis on the subject of family health will also be considered for publication. Both family-as-context and family-as-unit are represented. The journal recognizes a strong mandate to represent cultural diversity and families across the life cycle and encourages interdisciplinary and collaborative perspectives as well as international contributions. Papers will be selected for their scientific merit and creative treatment of significant issues in the field. One of the objectives of the journal is to establish a forum in which practitioners, educators, and researchers in various clinical specialties and settings can extend the lively debate and begin a more critical dialogue about the family in health and illness.

The Journal aims to publish the best research on international development issues in a form that is accessible to practitioners and policy-makers as well as to an academic audience. The main focus is on the social sciences - economics, politics, international relations, sociology and anthropology, as well as development studies - but we also welcome articles that blend the natural and social sciences in addressing the challenges for development. The Journal does not represent any particular school, analytical technique or methodological approach, but aims to publish high quality contributions to ideas, frameworks, policy and practice, including in transitional countries and underdeveloped areas of the Global North as well as the Global South. The Journal has two special features: Field Reports, which are short articles contributing to development policy and practice, and invited Policy Arenas, which comprise several articles focusing on a theme with a policy dimension. The International Journal of Systematic Theology has acquired a world-wide reputation for publishing high-quality academic articles on systematic theology and for substantial reviews of major new works of scholarship. Systematic theology, which is concerned with the systematic articulation of the meaning, coherence and implications of Christian doctrine, is at the leading edge of contemporary academic theology. The discipline has undergone a remarkable transformation in the last three decades, and is now firmly established as a central area of academic teaching and research. The International Journal of Systematic Theology aims to publish articles of the highest quality in this area, and operates with a double-blind peer review system. Its core concern is the articulation of Christian doctrine in terms both of its content and of its implications for the wider sphere of culture. The Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis: Research and Practice aims to stimulate the further intellectual development of comparative policy studies and the growth of an international community of scholars in the field.
