The International Journal of Hydrogen Energy aims to provide a central vehicle for the exchange and dissemination of new ideas, technology developments and research results in the field of Hydrogen Energy between scientists and engineers throughout the world. The emphasis is placed on original research, both analytical and experimental, covering all aspects of Hydrogen Energy, including production, storage, transmission, utilization, enabling technologies, environmental impact, economic and international aspects of hydrogen and hydrogen carriers such as NH3, CH4, alcohols, etc.The utilization includes thermochemical (combustion), photochemical, electrochemical (fuel cells) and nuclear conversion of hydrogen, hydrogen isotopes and/or hydrogen carriers to thermal, mechanical and electrical energies, and their applications in transportation (including aerospace), industrial, commercial and residential sectors.When outstanding new advances are made, or when new areas have been developed to a definitive stage, special review articles will be considered. The journal Mycoses provides an international forum for original papers in English on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, therapy, prophylaxis, and epidemiology of fungal infectious diseases in humans and animals as well as on the biology of pathogenic fungi. Prominent mycoses of the skin have always been the domain of dermatology. Otorhinolaryngologists, gastroenterologists, and gynecologists are confronted with mycoses of the mucous membranes. Medical mycology as part of medical microbiology is advancing rapidly. Effective therapeutic strategies are already available in chemotherapy and are being further developed. Their application requires reliable laboratory diagnostic techniques, which, in turn, result from mycological basic research. Opportunistic mycoses vary greatly in their clinical and pathological symptoms, because the underlying disease of a patient at risk decisively determines their symptomatology and progress. Therefore, case histories are highly informative. Short communications on mycological topics complete the original articles. The journal mycoses is, therefore, of interest to scientists in fundamental mycological research, mycological laboratory diagnosticians, clinicians in all fields, and veterinarians.

NeuroRehabilitation is an international journal which emphasizes publication of scientifically based, practical information relevant to all aspects of neurologic rehabilitation. Manuscripts cover the full life span and range of neurological disabilities including stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, neuromuscular disease, and other neurological disorders. Information is intended for an interdisciplinary audience.Issues of the journal are thematically organized. Themes have focused on specific clinical disorders, types of therapy, and age groups. Proposals for thematic issues and suggestions for issue editors are welcomed. NeuroRehabilitation also publishes original research and book reviews. The Pacific Economic Review (PER) publishes high-quality articles in all areas of economics, both the theoretical and empirical, and welcomes in particular analyses of economic issues in the Asia-Pacific area. Published five times a year from 2007, the journal is of interest to academic, government and corporate economists. The Pacific Economic Review is the official publication of the Hong Kong Economic Association and has a strong editorial team and international board of editors. The October issue, edited and published with sponsorship from National Taiwan University, focuses on economic policies, particularly those related to the Taiwanese economy, the Chinese economy, and cross-strait relations. Power Technology and Engineering deals with all aspects of electrical power generation and distribution, with an emphasis on sustainable technologies and environmentally sensitive issues. Topics covered include construction and operation of thermal (fossil and nuclear) and hydroelectric power stations, electric lines and equipment, renewable sources of energy, and environmental issues. Power Technology and Engineering publishes articles selected from the Russian journals Gidrotekhnicheskoe Stroitel’stvo (Hydrotechnical Construction) and Elektricheskie Stantsii (Electrical Power Stations). Articles are selected on the basis of their scientific and technical quality, their focus on the above themes, and the significance to a worldwide audience of this leading Russian research and practice. Power Technology and Engineering is a continuation of the Kluwer/Consultants Bureau journal Hydrotechnical Construction, which was a translation of Gidrotekhnicheskoe Stroitel’stvo exclusively. The change improves the scope of the journal and makes two valuable sources of Russian research available internationally. Each annual volume of Power Technology and Engineering will contain six issues. Volume 36 (2002) is to be published in July–December 2002, following completion of Volume 35 of Hydrotechnical Construction, which was published from July 2001 to June 2002. From Volume 37 (2003) Power Technology and Engineering will be published bimonthly on a calendar year (January to December) basis.

Quality in Higher Education is an international refereed journal aimed at those interested in the theory, practice and policies relating to the control, management and improvement of quality in higher education. The Journal of Organic Chemistry welcomes original contributions of fundamental research in all branches of the theory and practice of organic chemistry. In selecting manuscripts for publication, the editors place emphasis on the quality and novelty of the work, as well as the breadth of interest to the organic chemistry community. Manuscripts with a focus on the following topics along with guidance are included below. The scope of organic chemistry is broader than these several areas of research and the Editorial Board is consistently welcoming and evaluating manuscripts addressing topics in addition to these. Guidelines for specific focus areas are as follows:

• Single or multistep synthetic methods and total synthesis protocols that demonstrate strategies, transformations, or shortened routes to target structures with conceptual novelty
• Mechanistic studies (experimental or theoretical) that show methodological advances or provide novel insight into the course of chemical reactions.
• Natural products isolation and identification studies that report unusual skeletal features, improvements in methods for structural determination, or insights into biosynthetic pathways.
• Manuscripts with elements of biological study, analytical chemistry, functional molecules and systems, or materials science should demonstrate novelty in those aspects associated with the organic chemistry portion of the work being reported.

Toxicology, an international journal, publishes only the highest quality original research and critical reviews dealing with the adverse effects of xenobiotics on the health of humans and animals. The goal of the journal is to advance the scientific understanding of mechanisms of toxicity. Emphasis will be placed on toxic effects observed at relevant exposures, which have direct impact on safety evaluation and risk assessment. All manuscripts published in Toxicology are subject to rigorous peer review. Multi-disciplinary research in solid-state circuits using exploratory materials and devices for novel energy efficient computation beyond standard CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) technology. Focus is on the exploration of materials, devices and computation circuits to enable Moore’s Law to continue for computation beyond a 10 to 15 year horizon (beyond end of the roadmap for CMOS technologies) with the associated density scaling and improvement in energy efficiency. Examples of appropriate topics are research milestones in the integration of materials, devices and computation circuits based upon any of the following: Quantum electronic devices (e.g. tunneling), Spintronics and nanomagnetics, Straintronics (piezo-electric devices), Plasmonics, Functional materials, High fan-in, fan- out logic circuits, Reconfigurable and non-volatile computational circuits, Computational circuits comprehending the on-chip communication means.

India Review publishes social science research on Indian politics, economics, and society. Typical articles combine theoretical rigor, substantive knowledge, and policy relevance. For example, articles may analyze an issue from a theoretical perspective; test theory or competing debates against relevant data; or provide a new historical treatment or solid comparative analysis for an issue. Mammal Review covers all aspects of mammalian biology and ecology. We particularly welcome hypothesis-driven analytical and systematic reviews of current theoretical and applied research on mammals, meta-analyses, practical assessments of techniques for studying mammals and large-scale considerations of the status, conservation and management of mammals. As well as reviews, comments, in which authors respond to papers in Mammal Review, and short communications, in which original research or important new methods are described, are published. Authors may consult the Editor-in-Chief about potential contributions or submit unsolicited papers. The journal is the official scientific periodical of the Mammal Society.
