The journal aims to consolidate itself as a forum for expression of academic work of the Center for Studies of the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of UNAM, as well as those proposals made in institutions at Mexico and around the world, while seeks to position itself within the group of publications marking pattern in the field of Political Science.

This journal acts as a medium for the exchange of research in the area of macromolecular substances, both synthetic and natural, and publishes results bearing on the physics or chemistry of polymers. Expert Systems: The Journal of Knowledge Engineering publishes papers dealing with all aspects of knowledge engineering, including individual methods and techniques in knowledge acquisition and representation, their application and evaluation, and the construction of systems - including expert systems - based thereon. As well as traditional application areas, such as Software and Requirements Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, and Artificial Intelligence, we are aiming at the new and growing markets for these technologies, such as Business, Economy, Market Research, and Medical and Health Care. The shift towards this new focus will be marked by a series of special issues covering hot and emergent topics.

Understanding the mechanisms of aging and age-related diseases has become an urgent matter given the growing proportion of older adults in the population. Gerontology, the oldest journal in the field, is the only journal with contributions from multiple disciplines. Its papers support the fundamental goals of extending active life and enhancing its quality. In the Clinical Section, the etiology, pathogenesis, prevention, and treatment of age-related diseases are discussed from a gerontological rather than a geriatric viewpoint. The Experimental Section contains up-to-date contributions from basic gerontological research. Historical Materialism is an interdisciplinary journal dedicated to exploring and developing the critical and explanatory potential of Marxist theory. The journal started as a project at the London School of Economics from 1995 to 1998. The advisory editorial board comprises many leading Marxists, including Robert Brenner, Maurice Godelier, Michael Lebowitz, Justin Rosenberg, Ellen Meiksins Wood and others.Marxism has manifested itself in the late 1990s from the pages of the Financial Times to new work by Fredric Jameson, Terry Eagleton and David Harvey. Insectes Sociaux (IS) is the journal of the International Union for the Study of Social Insects (IUSSI). It covers the various aspects of the biology and evolution of social insects and other presocial arthropods; these include ecology, ethology, morphology, population genetics, reproduction, communication, sociobiology, caste differentiation and social parasitism. The journal publishes original research papers and reviews, as well as short communications. An international editorial board of 21 eminent specialists attests to the high quality of Insectes Sociaux, a forum for all scientists and readers interested in the study of social insects.

Person-Centered and Experiential Psychotherapies seeks to create a dialogue among different parts of the person-centered and experiential tradition, to support, inform, and challenge each other and to stimulate their creativity and impact in a broader professional, scientific and political context. The aim of the journal is thus to encourage, and disseminate worldwide, new work on person-centered and experiential therapies, including philosophy, theory, practice, training and research. Acta Crystallographica Section C: Structural Chemistry is continuing its transition to a journal that publishes exciting science with structural content, in particular, important results relating to the chemical sciences. acta ethologica publishes empirical and theoretical research papers, short communications, commentaries, reviews and book reviews in the field of ethology and related disciplines, with a strong concentration on the behavior biology of humans and other animals. The journal places special emphasis on studies integrating proximate (mechanisms, development) and ultimate (function, evolution) levels in the analysis of behavior.
