History of European Ideas is devoted to the intellectual history of Europe from the Renaissance onwards. It is interdisciplinary in that it aims to publish papers on the history of ideas in a number of different fields: political and economic thought, philosophy, natural philosophy and science, theology and literature. Treatments of the history of ideas which cut across these categories or which trace connections between them in different European countries are particularly welcome. Proposals for special issues devoted to historical themes or to proceedings of conferences are also encouraged.

Materials contained in the journal include freely submitted peer reviewed articles, the Richard G. Scobee Memorial Lecture, the John Pratt Johnson Lecture, and the proceedings of the combined AOC/AACO/AAO symposium held at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Abstracts of the English, French, German, and Spanish literature on the subjects of amblyopia and strabismus as well as book reviews are also included. The Mathematical Modelling of Natural Phenomena (MMNP) is an international research journal, which publishes top-level original and review papers, short communications and proceedings on mathematical modelling in biology, medicine, chemistry, physics, and other areas. The journal is essentially functioning on the basis of topical issues representing active areas of research. Each topical issue has its own editorial board. The authors are invited to submit papers to the announced issues or to suggest new issues.The journal publishes research articles and reviews within the whole field of mathematical modelling, and it will continue to provide information on the latest trends and developments in this ever-expanding subject.

The Annals of Indian Academy of Neurology-AIAN (ISSN 0972-2327) is the official journal of the Indian Academy of Neurology. Our aim is to serve as a medium for dissemination of information and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in neurosciences. The journal is published Quarterly. We accept for publication, manuscripts that were not published earlier or are under simultaneous consideration by another journal. The publication of the material as an abstract of conference proceedings is exempted. We follow the broad guidelines for good publications practice brought out by the Committee On Publication Ethics (COPE) and recommendations of World Association of Medical Editors (WAME). The Editorial Board shall scrutinize each article submitted to the journal and shall submit it to peer review.

Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research is a quarterly international journal. It publishes original research papers, shorter contributions, resulting correspondence, and book reviews. The subject matter deals with any scientific or cultural aspect of Arctic, Antarctic, and alpine environments and related topics on subarctic, subantarctic, subalpine environments, and paleoenvironments. Papers may be uni- or multidisciplinary but should have interdisciplinary appeal. Special thematic issues and proceedings are published from time to time.

Dædalus was founded in 1955 as the Journal of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and established as a quarterly in 1958. It continues the volume and numbering system of the Academy's Proceedings, which ceased publication under that title with Volume 85. Dædalus draws on the enormous intellectual capacity of the American Academy, whose Fellows are among the nation's most prominent thinkers in the arts, sciences, and the humanities, as well as the full range of professions and public life. Each issue addresses a theme with original authoritative essays. .

Journal of Applied Physics is the American Institute of Physics' (AIP) archival journal for significant new results in applied physics; content is published online daily, collected into two online and printed issues per month (24 issues per year). The journal publishes articles that emphasize understanding of the physics underlying modern technology, but distinguished from technology on the one side and pure physics on the other. Applied Physics Reviews is a series of occasional review articles on topics within this scope. The Proceedings of the Conference on Magnetism and Magnetic Materials is an annual feature.

Scientific Programming provides a meeting ground for research results in, and practical experience with, software engineering environments, tools, languages, and models of computation aimed specifically at supporting scientific and engineering computing. Scientific Programming brings together in one place developments that are found in a wide variety of journals, conference proceedings and informal society journals. Scientific Programming publishes papers on language, compiler and programming environment issues for scientific computing. Of particular interest are contributions to programming and software engineering for grid computing, high performance computing, processing very large data sets, supercomputing, visualization and parallel computing. Strabismus publishes articles on all areas of the field including esotropia, exotropia, hypertropia, and Duane's Syndrome. The quarterly publication also discusses related disorders including amblyopia, infant visual development, binocular vision, stereopsis, suppression, amblyopia-related disorders of refraction, visual stimulus deprivation, and anisometropia. It aims to bridge the gap between neuroscientists and ophthalmologists and orthoptists treating strabismus and amblyopia patients. Strabismus includes the following sections: editorials, original papers, research reports, reviews, symposium proceedings, letters to the editor and selected abstracts.

This journal is devoted to research articles in all areas of pure and applied mathematics. To be published in the Transactions, a paper must be correct, new, and significant. Further, it must be well written and of interest to a substantial number of mathematicians. Piecemeal results, such as an inconclusive step toward an unproved major theorem or a minor variation on a known result, are in general not acceptable for publication. Papers of less than 15 printed pages that meet the above criteria should be submitted to the Proceedings of the American Mathematical Society. Published pages are the same size as those generated in the style files provided for AMS-LaTeX or AMS-TeX.

Plasma Physics Reports (Fizika Plasmy) was founded in 1975 in order to publish papers on a comparatively young and extremely fruitful branch of modern science - plasma physics. The journal covers the following topics: high-temperature plasma physics related to the problem of controlled nuclear fusion based on magnetic and inertial confinement; physics of cosmic plasma, including magnetosphere plasma, sun and stellar plasma, etc.; gas discharge plasma and plasma generated by laser and particle beams. The journal also publishes papers on such related topics as plasma electronics, generation of radiation in plasma, and plasma diagnostics. As well as other original communications, the journal publishes topical reviews and conference proceedings.

Museum History Journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts, proposals for edited collections of thematically related papers, and proposals for symposium and conference-session proceedings. We interpret "museum" broadly to provide a multidisciplinary forum for studies of a variety of museum-related topics including the histories of institutions, exhibitions, collections, architecture, and individuals’ biographies. Museum types may include not only anthropology, archaeology, art, history, medical, natural history, and science and technology, but related institutions, such as aquaria, arboreta, archives, botanical gardens, historical societies and sites, planetariums, and zoos as well. Bulletin of Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University (B-FOPCU) is the official journal of Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University. Bulletin of Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University is published in two issues per year constituting one volume and accepts only articles that conform to its scope and editorial standards. Bulletin of Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University is multidisciplinary, publishes original and review articles, special and case reports and scientific commentaries on all aspects of the pharmaceutical sciences and related clinical subjects that are of interest to all health professionals with strong emphasis on originality and scientific quality. Proceedings of scientific meetings, conferences may be published as special issues or supplements to Bulletin of Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University. All submitted papers are subjected to an extensive review by the editorial board and by independent referees.

The Journal of Surface Investigation spans the field of surface physics, from the preparation of samples, through physical and chemical properties of surfaces, interfaces and nanostructures (including organic and biological materials), to data analysis and interpretation of results. The Journal focuses closely on novel experimental approaches to characterization of surfaces, interfaces and thin films by X-ray, synchrotron and neutron techniques, which are the most suited techniques for structural studies of nanosystems. Insect Science is an international journal, which publishes original peer-reviewed, research papers from any entomological discipline. The emphasis of the journal is on the adaptation and evolutionary biology of insects from their molecules to ecosystems including: ecology and IPM; behaviour and social biology; molecular biology; physiology, biochemistry and toxicology; genetics and development; and systematics and evolution. The journal 'Acta Neurochirurgica' publishes papers dealing with clinical neurosurgery - diagnosis and diagnostic techniques, operative surgery and results, postoperative treatment - or with research work in neuroscience where underlying questions or results are of neurosurgical interest.
