Journal of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (JAPNA) is a peer-reviewed bi-monthly journal publishing up-to-date information to promote psychiatric nursing, improve mental health care for culturally diverse individuals, families, groups, and communities, as well as shape health care policy for the delivery of mental health services. JAPNA publishes both clinical and research articles relevant to psychiatric nursing.

One of the world's most respected publications in psychoanalysis, the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association (JAPA) offers insightful and broad-based original articles, ground-breaking research, thoughtful plenary addresses, in-depth panel reports, perceptive commentaries, plus much more. Included in each issue is the esteemed JAPA Review of Books, which provides comprehensive reviews and essays on recent notable literature.

JASC is the official journal of the American Society of Cytopathology, and will reflect the values and priorities of the society. In 2012 and 2013, JASC will consist of special supplemental issues with the annual scientific meeting abstracts of the American Society of Cytopathology. Beginning in 2014, JASC will publish its regular bimonthly issues with cutting-edge original research of the highest standard. The Journal will seek to provide an exceptional forum for interaction and dissemination of original research and educational information in the field of cytopathology and other allied disciplines in medicine. The cross-disciplinary focus of the journal will ensure sharing of information with all readers involved in the practice of cytopathology and its related basic sciences, epidemiology and clinical oncologic disciplines.JASC will endeavor to have a positive impact not only on all aspects of cancer diagnosis and treatment, but also on other human disease. JASC will publish original work emphasizing novel discoveries or clinicopathologic correlations in a patient-centered environment, technological advances in basic and translational research with emphasis on the development of personalized medicine, and new or improved molecular techniques and their novel application for diagnosis or monitoring of disease. Preference will also be given to original work demonstrating the scholarship of education in cytopathology including new innovative tools for continuing education and training as well as designing and implementing new assessment and evaluation techniques. JASC will lead the discipline of cytopathology by setting professional quality standards ensuring diagnostic excellence, advocating laboratory safety and quality, and inter-professional education for pathologists, cytotechnologists and all allied health care specialties. It will duly address and highlight issues relating to population health and public policy topics.

The Journal of the American Society of Nephrology (JASN) is the leading kidney journal in the world. JASN represents an outstanding synthesis of cutting-edge basic research, clinical epidemiology, clinical research, meta-analysis, relevant editorials, perspectives, and timely and important reviews. Editorials are written to distill and elucidate the key findings of the parent article. JASN also encourages submission of Letters to the Editor about recently published articles. Similarly, the reviews are invariably erudite and comprehensive in their coverage of a given field.  JASN has been published monthly since July 1990.

The Journal of the American Statistical Association, published quarterly, has long been considered the premier journal of statistical science. Established in 1888, JASA focuses on statistical applications, theory, and methods in economic, social, physical, engineering, and health sciences. Important books contributing to statistical advancement also are reviewed.

The American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), established in 1863, is a not-for-profit association representing more than 81,500 veterinarians working in private and corporate practice, government, industry, academia, and uniformed services. Structured to work for its members, the AVMA acts as a collective voice for its membership and for the profession.

JAWRA seeks to be the preeminent scholarly publication on multidisciplinary water resources issues. JAWRA papers present ideas derived from multiple disciplines woven together to give insight into a critical water issue, or are based primarily upon a single discipline with important applications to other disciplines. Papers often cover the topics of recent AWRA conferences such as riparian ecology, geopraphic information systems, adaptive management, and water policy.JAWRA authors present work within their disciplinary fields to a broader audience. Journal of the Asia Pacific Economy (JAPE) is concerned primarily with the developing economies within Pacific Asia and South Asia. It aims to promote greater understanding of the complex factors that have influenced and continue to shape the transformation of the diverse economies in this region. Studies on developed countries will be considered only if they have implications for the developing countries in the region. JAPE's editorial policy is to maintain a sound balance between theoretical and empirical studies. JAPE publishes research papers in economics but also welcomes papers that deal with economic issues using a multi-disciplinary approach. Submissions may range from overviews spanning the region or parts of it, to papers with a detailed focus on particular issues facing individual countries. JAPE has a broad readership, which makes papers concerned with narrow and detailed technical matters inappropriate for inclusion. In addition, papers should not be simply one more application of a formal model or statistical technique used elsewhere. Authors should note that discussion of results must make sense intuitively, and relate to the institutional and historical context of the geographic area analyzed. We particularly ask authors to spell out the practical policy implications of their findings for governments and business. In addition to articles, JAPE publishes short notes, comments and book reviews. From time to time, it also publishes special issues on matters of great importance to economies in the Asia Pacific area. JARO is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes research findings from disciplines related to otolaryngology and communications sciences, including hearing and balance. JARO welcomes submissions describing original experimental research that investigates the mechanisms underlying problems of basic or clinical significance. Clinical case studies, pharmaceutical screens and methods papers are not encouraged unless they include significant new findings as well. Commentaries and reviews are published at the discretion of the editorial board; consult the editor-in-chief before submitting. Accepted papers are copyedited and rapidly published in Online First before being bundled in an online issue (six per year) with notification to alerts subscribers. Springer deposits all final manuscripts with PubMed Central with a one year embargo.
