Biophysics covers a wide scope of problems related to the main physical mechanisms of processes taking place on different organization levels in biosystems. It includes structure and dynamics of molecules, cells and tissues: the influence of environment: energy transformation and transfer: thermodynamics: biological motility: population dynamics and cell differentiation modeling: biomechanics and tissue rheology: non-linear phenomena, mathematical cybernetics modeling of complex systems: computational biology. Biophysics exercises a multidisciplinary approach and presents the complete pattern of relevant basic research in former Soviet and Eastern European countries. The Letters to the Editor section is dedicated to rapid publications of special interest. Reviews and mini-reviews are devoted to problems of general interest. The size of manuscripts is not limited.

Biopolymers publishes original research papers and review articles in the general area of macromolecular structure and function, as well as biologically relevant model systems. Manuscripts should report on studies that examine biological macromolecules (naturally occurring and designed), their interactions, reactions, and macromolecular assemblies at structural, chemical, and physical levels. The Journal strives to publish high-impact papers that will significantly enhance our understanding of the chemistry and/or the biology of the systems under investigation. Reports describing techniques that could be applied to the study of biological macromolecules will be considered for publication only if they will have broad utility to the biochemical and biophysical research community. Biopreservation and Biobanking is the first journal to provide a unifying forum for researchers from academia, government, and industry in which rapid, authoritative, peer-reviewed communication of recent advances is provided in the fast-emerging field of biospecimen procurement, processing, preservation, and banking. The Journal publishes a diversity of articles focusing on current issues and problems related to the processing of macromolecules, cells, and tissues.

ioprinting is a broad-spectrum, multidisciplinary journal that covers all aspects of 3D fabrication technology involving biological tissues, organs and cells for medical and biotechnology applications. Topics covered include nanomaterials, biomaterials, scaffolds, 3D printing technology, imaging and CAD/CAM software and hardware, post-printing bioreactor maturation, cell and biological factor patterning, biofabrication, tissue engineering and other applications of 3D bioprinting technology. Bioprinting publishes research reports describing novel results with high clinical significance in all areas of 3D bioprinting research. Bioprinting issues contain a wide variety of review and analysis articlescovering topics relevant to 3D bioprinting ranging from basic biological, material and technical advances to pre-clinical and clinical applications of 3D bioprinting.

The journal Bioprocess and Biosystems Engineering is an international peer-reviewed forum for discussion between engineering and biological science to find efficient solutions in the development and improvement of bioprocesses. The journal focuses attention on multidisciplinary approaches for integrative bioprocess design. Coverage includes rational manipulation of biosystems through metabolic engineering techniques to provide new biocatalysts. The journal examines model-based design of bioprocesses, such as up-stream processing, bioreactor operation and downstream processing, leading to new and sustainable production processes. The journal offers new approaches for design of cellular systems, taking into account the environment and constraints of technical production processes, integration of recombinant technology and process design, as well as bioinformatics and process systems engineering. The journal publishes original papers, short communications and invited reviews.

Bioremediation Journal is a peer-reviewed quarterly that publishes current, original laboratory and field research in bioremediation, the use of biological and supporting physical treatments to treat contaminated soil and groundwater. The journal rapidly disseminates new information on emerging and maturing bioremediation technologies and integrates scientific research and engineering practices. The authors, editors, and readers are scientists, field engineers, site remediation managers, and regulatory experts from the academic, industrial, and government sectors worldwide.High-quality, original articles make up the primary content. Other contributions are technical notes, short communications, and occasional invited review articles. Before contributions are accepted for publication, they must pass a rigorous peer-review process managed by the editor-in-chief. The journal also publishes letters to the editor, book and software reviews, new product and patent information, and announcements of upcoming conferences and courses.The scope encompasses any use of biological processes for environmental restoration. Hybrid technologies, which combine chemical and/or physical processes with biological, also are appropriate for inclusion. Bioresource Technology Reports is an online-only rapid-publication journal focused on the fundamentals, applications and management of bioresource technology. Like its sister journal, Bioresource Technology, Bioresource Technology Reports' mission is to advance and disseminate knowledge in all the related areas of bioenergy, biotransformations and bioresource systems analysis, and technologies associated with conversion or production.

Bioresource Technology Reports publishes original articles, review articles, case studies and short communications. Alongside welcoming direct submissions, the journal will benefit from an Article Transfer Service which will allow the author(s) to transfer their manuscript online from Bioresource Technology thus saving authors time and effort spent on formatting and resubmitting. Papers may be suggested for transfer from Bioresource Technology to Bioresource Technology Reportsif they have a very strong applied element or are more focussed on a particular area. Bioresource Technology Reports will also be more considerate of papers with preliminary findings at an earlier stage of the research cycle, but these papers must be considered important for the scientific literature, to improve the replicability and scalability of the fundamental research.
