The monthly journal Biochemistry (Moscow) is the international English edition of the Russian scientific research journal Biokhimiya. Biokhimiya was founded by the Russian Academy of Sciences (formerly Academy of Sciences of the USSR) and the Russian Biochemical Society in 1936. Since 1956 Biokhimiya has been followed by its English translation. The Russian and English editions are now issued simultaneously. The journal includes research papers in all fields of biochemistry as well as biochemical aspects of molecular biology, bioorganic chemistry, microbiology, immunology, physiology, and biomedical sciences. Coverage also extends to new experimental methods in biochemistry, theoretical contributions of biochemical importance, reviews of contemporary biochemical topics, and mini-reviews (News in Biochemistry). This journal is intended for scientists, postgraduates, teachers at universities and high schools, students, and specialists at research institutes. It is also a valuable resource, providing regular and
The Journal publishes original articles that elucidate physical, chemical, and molecular mechanisms, which underlie basic properties of biological membranes and mediate membrane-related cellular functions. The Journal is multidisciplinary and focuses on those articles that employ a variety of experimental approaches, basically biophysical but also biochemical, cytological, and molecular biological. The Journal publishes articles that strive for unveiling membrane and cellular functions through innovative theoretical models and computer simulations.
This Journal covers all major aspects of Biomedical chemistry and related areas, including proteomics and molecular biology of (patho) physiological processes, biochemistry, neurochemistry, immunochemistry and clinical chemistry, bioinformatics, gene therapy, drug design and delivery, biochemical pharmacology, introduction and advertisement of new (biochemical) methods into experimental and clinical medicine. The Journal also publish review articles. All issues of journal usually contain invited reviews.
Biochemistry Research International is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of biochemistry.
The journal offers a high-quality, impartial and constructive review process. Editors and Reviewers work with the Authors to ensure that accepted papers present sound results to be shared in a structured way with the life sciences community.
Published since 1929, this bimonthly journal explores every aspect of general biochemistry and includes up-to-date coverage of experimental research into cellular and molecular biology, as well as review articles on topics of current interest and notes contributed by recognized international experts. Special issues each year are dedicated to expanding new areas of research in biochemistry and cell biology.
The aim of BAMBED is to enhance teacher preparation and student learning in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and related sciences such as Biophysics and Cell Biology, by promoting the world-wide dissemination of educational materials. BAMBED seeks and communicates articles on many topics, including:.
BBA Molecular Cell Research focuses on understanding the mechanisms of cellular processes at the molecular level. These include aspects of cellular signaling, signal transduction, cell cycle, apoptosis, intracellular trafficking, secretory and endocytic pathways, biogenesis of cell organelles, cytoskeletal structures, cellular interactions, cell/tissue differentiation and cellular enzymology. Also included are studies at the interface between Cell Biology and Biophysics which apply for example novel imaging methods for characterizing cellular processes.Reviews and mini-reviews on timely topics are considered for publication. Prospective authors of reviews should send a presubmission enquiry with key references tothe Editorial Office (email: bbareviews@elsevier.com). Color figures in reviews are published free of charge.Benefits to authorsWe also provide many author benefits, such as free PDFs, a liberal copyright policy, special discounts on Elsevier publications and much more. Biochimie is a multi-topical journal, publishing original work as well as review articles and mini-reviews in all areas of biology (enzymology, genetics, immunology, microbiology, structure of macromolecules, etc.), provided that the approach adopted stems from biochemistry, biophysics or molecular biology.
Data that are exciting though more preliminary than those acceptable to many traditional journals will be considered for publication if the editors feel that they are likely to stimulate future research.
Bioconjugate Chemistry invites original contributions on all research at the interface between synthetic and biological materials. The journal intends to provide a forum for presentation of research relevant to all aspects of bioconjugates, including the preparation, properties, and applications of biomolecular conjugates.
The mission of the journal is to communicate to advances in fields including:
