Multi-agency and multidisciplinary, the Journal of Forensic Practice provides a forum for researchers and practitioners on all aspects of forensic application in relation to the criminal and civil justice systems.

Computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are increasingly being utilized not only in postmortem study to help determine cause of death or injury, but also to help identify remains at local medical examiner offices or at the scenes of mass casualties. Journal of Forensic Radiology and Imaging (JOFRI) aims to foster the exchange of information among forensic medicine and radiology professionals engaged in developing and utilizing imaging methods to advance non-invasive documentation and analysis of forensic findings in both living and dead persons. The journal seeks to develop best practices by presenting high quality evidence-based reviews and original research and will publish a mix of original research, review articles, brief communications, and case studies.

The Journal of Forensic Sciences is the official publication of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS). It is devoted to the publication of original investigations, observations, scholarly inquiries, and reviews in the various branches of the forensic sciences. These include Pathology and Biology, Toxicology, Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, General, Odontology, Physical Anthropology, Jurisprudence, Criminalistics, Questioned Documents, Engineering Sciences, and Digital & Media Sciences. Similar submissions dealing with forensic-oriented aspects of the social science are also published. All papers are peer-reviewed. As papers clear the peer review and editorial processes, they will be included in this electronic version of the journal. The printed version of the journal will be distributed the first week of the month that the publication is issued. The aim of the Journal of Oral Pathology & Medicine is to publish manuscripts of high scientific quality representing original clinical, diagnostic or experimental work in oral pathology and oral medicine. Papers advancing the science or practice of these disciplines will be welcomed, especially those which bring new knowledge and observations from the application of techniques within the spheres of light and electron microscopy, tissue and organ culture, immunology, histochemistry and immunocytochemistry, microbiology, genetics and biochemistry. Review papers on topical and relevant subjects will receive a high priority. Original research material requiring rapid publication because of their significance and timeliness will be included as Brief Reports. They should not exceed three pages. All submitted manuscripts falling within the overall scope of the Journal will be assessed by at least two suitably qualified referees. Rapid publication.

The Journal will publish papers of highly scientific value primarily related to oral and maxillofacial surgery, medicine, and pathology. It will also cover the wide scope of oral and maxillofacial sciences, including oral oncology, oral radiology, and oral biology. The Journal of Police and Criminal Psychology is a peer-reviewed journal that reports research findings regarding the theory, practice and application of psychological issues in the criminal justice context, namely law enforcement, courts, and corrections. The Journal encourages submissions focusing on Police Psychology including personnel assessment, therapeutic methods, training, ethics and effective organizational operation. The Journal also welcomes articles that focus on criminal behavior and the application of psychology to effective correctional practices and facilitating recovery among victims of crime. The Journal of Tissue Viability is the official publication of the Tissue Viability Society and is a quarterly journal concerned with all aspects of the occurrence and treatment of wounds, ulcers and pressure sores including patient care, pain, nutrition, wound healing, research, prevention, mobility, social problems and management.The Journal particularly encourages papers covering skin and skin wounds but will consider articles that discuss injury in any tissue. Articles that stress the multi-professional nature of tissue viability are especially welcome.
