Journal of Physiotherapy is the official journal of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. The Editorial Board's mission is to publish significant research which has important implications for physiotherapy. Our vision is for the journal to be the pre-eminent international publication of the science and practice of physiotherapy.In January 2008 Journal of Physiotherapy became the first physiotherapy journal to conform to the ICMJE requirement wherein randomised trials are registered with a recognised Trial Registry.In January 2014 the journal also became the first core physiotherapy journal to make Editorials and peer-reviewed original research freely-available.

The Journal of Poetry Therapy (JPT), sponsored by the National Association for Poetry Therapy, is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal committed to the publication of original articles concerned with the use of the literary arts in therapeutic, educational, and community-building capacities. The purview of the JPT includes the use of bibliotherapy, journal therapy, creative writing, narrative, lyrics, storytelling, and metaphor in human service settings. Research (qualitative and quantitative) , practice (clinical and education), theoretical, and literary studies are emphasized. The Journal of Speech, Language, and Hearing Research (JSLHR) annually publishes summary statistics of acceptance/rejection rates and manuscript processing times. These summary statistics provide data on acceptance/rejection rates, frequently used by tenure/promotion committees, as well as average manuscript processing times, often of interest to contributing authors.Table 1 shows the rates for acceptance and rejection for manuscripts receiving a final decision in 2008 through 2010, regardless of the year the manuscript was submitted originally. The Speech, Language, and Hearing sections of the journal are reported separately. Accepted manuscripts are those for which a final decision to accept has been made. Rejected manuscripts are those that have been judged unsuitable for publication and for which no further revision or resubmission has been requested.Figure 1 presents data for manuscripts that had completed the review process as of year-end 2010. The submission-to-decision interval is calculated from the date the editor's office receives the new or revised manuscript to the date a decision is made on the manuscript.

The editorial mission of the Journal of Sport Rehabilitation (JSR) is to advance the understanding of all aspects of sport rehabilitation, particularly in the areas of therapeutic exercise, therapeutic modalities, injury evaluation, and the psychological aspects of rehabilitation. JSR publishes original research, systematic reviews/meta-analyses, critically appraised topics (CATs), and case studies/series that directly affect the management and rehabilitation of injuries incurred during sport-related activities, irrespective of the individual’s age, gender, sport ability, level of fitness, or health status. Language, Speech, and Hearing Services in Schools (LSHSS) is an archival journal for research and practice in educational settings. LSHSS publishes studies and articles that pertain to speech, language, and hearing disorders and differences in children and adolescents, as well as to professional issues affecting service delivery in educational settings.
