ADHD Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorders publishes the results of basic and clinical research contributing to the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of all psychiatric syndromes in which attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) may be a feature.Regular features will include: original research reports: review papers: case studies: short communications: and letters to the Editor.

The Journal publishes novel papers that contribute to the understanding of ADHD. Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorders brings together biological, clinical and psychological research in order to stimulate the synthesis of findings from all disciplines involved in improving patient outcomes in all psychiatric syndromes in which ADHD may be a feature.

AIDS and Behavior provides an international venue for the scientific exchange of research and scholarly work on the contributing factors, prevention, consequences, social impact, and response to HIV/AIDS. The journal publishes original peer-reviewed papers addressing all areas of AIDS behavioral research including: individual, contextual, social, economic and geographic factors that facilitate HIV transmission; interventions aimed to reduce HIV transmission risks at all levels and in all contexts; mental health aspects of HIV/AIDS; medical and behavioral consequences of HIV infection - including health-related quality of life, coping, treatment and treatment adherence; and the impact of HIV infection on adults children, families, communities and societies. Acta Psychologica publishes original articles and extended reviews on selected books in any area of experimental psychology. The focus of the Journal is on empirical studies and evaluative review articles that increase the theoretical understanding of human capabilities. The majority of papers deal with human performance, attention, perception, memory, and decision-making but papers concerned with social processes, development, psychopathology, neuroscience or computational modelling are also welcome provided that they are of direct importance to experimental psychologists and are written so as to be understandable to such a readership.The journal publishes occasional special issues devoted to single topics which merit particular attention. Adaptive Behavior is a highly ranked, international peer reviewed journal that publishes original research and review articles on adaptive behavior in living organisms and autonomous artificial systems.For over 17 years it has offered ethologists, psychologists, behavioral ecologists, computer scientists, neuroscientists and robotics researchers a forum for discussing new findings and comparing insights and approaches across disciplines. The journal explores mechanisms, organizational principles, and architectures that can be expressed in computational, physical, or mathematical models related to the both the functions and dysfunctions of adaptive behavior.The journal publishes articles, reviews, short communications, target articles and commentaries addressing challenges in the cognitive and behavioral sciences and including topics such as perception and motor control, embodied cognition, learning and evolution, neural mechanisms, action selection and behavioral sequences, motivation and emotion, characterization of environments, decision making, collective and social behavior, navigation, foraging, communication and signalling.

Addictive Behaviors is an international peer-reviewed journal publishing high quality human research on addictive behaviors and disorders since 1976. The journal accepts submissions of full-length papers and short communications on substance-related addictions such as the abuse of alcohol, drugs and nicotine and behavioral addictions such as compulsive gambling and internet excesses. We primarily publish behavioral and psychosocial research but our articles span the fields of psychology, sociology, psychiatry, epidemiology, social policy, medicine, pharmacology and neuroscience. While theoretical orientations are diverse, the emphasis of the journal is primarily empirical. That is, sound experimental design combined with valid, reliable assessment and evaluation procedures are a requisite for acceptance. However, innovative and empirically oriented case studies that might encourage new lines of inquiry are accepted as well. Studies that clearly contribute to current knowledge of etiology, prevention, social policy or treatment are given priority. Scholarly commentaries on topical issues, systematic reviews, and mini reviews are encouraged.
