Plant Species Biology is published three times a year by The Society for the Study of Species Biology. Plant Species Biology publishes research manuscripts in the fields of population biology, pollination biology, evolutionary ecology, biosystematics, co-evolution, and any other related fields in biology. In addition to full length papers, the journal also includes short research papers as notes and comments. Invited articles may be accepted or occasion at the request of the Editorial Board. Manuscripts should contain new results of empirical and/or theoretical investigations concerning facts, processes, mechanisms or concepts of evolutionary as well as biological phenomena. Papers that are purely descriptive are not suitable for this journal. The journal is introducing 'Life history monographs of Japanese plant species'. The journal is dedicated to minimizing the time between submission, review and publication and to providing a high quality forum for original research in Plant Species Biology.

Planta publishes timely and substantial articles on all aspects of plant biology.
We welcome original research papers on any plant species. Areas of interest include biochemistry, bioenergy, biotechnology, cell biology, development, ecological and environmental physiology, growth, metabolism, morphogenesis, molecular biology, physiology, plant-microbe interactions, structural biology, and systems biology.
Review articles summarize recent advances in topical areas of plant biology; while the section on Emerging Technologies describes the development of new methods with the potential to advance one or more areas of plant biology.Accepted articles are published online within 2-3 weeks.

Polyhedron publishes original, fundamental, experimental and theoretical work of the highest quality in all the major areas of inorganic chemistry. This includes synthetic chemistry, coordination chemistry, organometallic chemistry, bioinorganic chemistry, and solid-state and materials chemistry. Papers should be significant pieces of work, and all new compounds must be appropriately characterized. The inclusion of single-crystal X-ray structural data is strongly encouraged, but papers reporting only the X-ray structure determination of a single compound will usually not be considered. Papers on solid-state or materials chemistry will be expected to have a significant molecular chemistry component, such as the synthesis and characterization of the molecular precursors and/or a systematic study of the use of different precursors or reaction conditions.Polyhedron publishes full papers, specially commissioned review articles (Polyhedron Reports) and themed issues of the journal (Polyhedron Symposia-in-Print). Polyhedron does not publish communications or notes.

For over half a century, Population Studies has reported significant advances in methods of demographic analysis, conceptual and mathematical theories of demographic dynamics and behaviour, and the use of these theories and methods to extend scientific knowledge and to inform policy and practice.The Journal's coverage of this field is comprehensive: applications in developed and developing countries; historical and contemporary studies; quantitative and qualitative studies; analytical essays and reviews. The subjects of papers range from classical concerns, such as the determinants and consequences of population change, to such topics as family demography and evolutionary and genetic influences on demographic behaviour. Papers published in the journal may cover a wide range of topics in imaging of infectious diseases, including, but not limited to:

• Fundamental Topics - The regular research articles, experiences and case reports on diagnostic or interventional imaging of infectious diseases including CT imaging, MR imaging, Digital Radiography, PET-CT, Ultrasound imaging, DSA and so on.
• Functional imaging in infectious diseases - The survey of functional imaging combining with physiopathology about infectious diseases.
• Molecular imaging in infectious diseases - The research to examine infectious diseases from molecular mechanism.

Radiotherapy and Oncology publishes papers describing original research as well as review articles. It covers areas of interest relating to radiation oncology. This includes: clinical radiotherapy, combined modality treatment, experimental work in radiobiology, chemobiology, hyperthermia and tumour biology, as well as physical aspects relevant to oncology, particularly in the field of imaging, dosimetry and radiation therapy planning.Papers on more general aspects of interest to the radiation oncologist including chemotherapy, surgery and immunology are also published. Grassland Science is the official English language journal of the Japanese Society of Grassland Science. It publishes original research papers, review articles and short reports in all aspects of grassland science, with an aim of presenting and sharing knowledge, ideas and philosophies on better management and use of grasslands, forage crops and turf plants for both agricultural and non-agricultural purposes across the world. The IEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics is dedicated to the publication of manuscripts reporting novel experimental or theoretical results in the broad field of the science and technology of quantum electronics. The Journal comprises original contributions, both regular papers and letters, describing significant advances in the understanding of quantum electronics phenomena or the demonstration of new devices, systems, or applications. Manuscripts reporting new developments in systems and applications must emphasize quantum electronics principles or devices. The scope of JQE encompasses the generation, propagation, detection, and application of coherent electromagnetic radiation having wavelengths below one millimeter (i.e., in the submillimeter, infrared, visible, ultraviolet, etc., regions). Whether the focus of a manuscript is a quantum-electronic device or phenomenon, the critical factor in the editorial review of a manuscript is the potential impact of the results presented on continuing research in the field or on advancing the technological base of quantum electronics.

IEEJ Transactions on Electrical and Electronic Engineering (hereinafter called TEEE ) publishes 6 times per year as an official journal of the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan (hereinafter 'IEEJ'). This peer-reviewed journal contains original research papers and review articles on the most important and latest technological advances in core areas of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and in related disciplines. The journal also publishes short communications reporting on the results of the latest research activities TEEE ) aims to provide a new forum for IEEJ members in Japan as well as fellow researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from around the world to exchange ideas and research findings. The aims of Advances in Physics: X are to demonstrate:

1. the connectivity of Physics, by which we mean the intellectual relationships between one branch of Physics and another, and
   
2. the pervasiveness of Physics, that is, the influence of Physics across (hence the “X”) the boundaries into other disciplines, including chemistry, materials science, engineering, biology and medicine.

Thus the journal will promote the centrality of Physics and physical measurement to modern science and technology, defending the discipline and revealing both its richness and its impact.

The aims of “APX” will be achieved by the Open Access, electronic publication of concise review articles, commissioned from leading experts and made available freely throughout the world.

Advances in Physics: X draws upon the rich heritage of Advances in Physics, founded by Sir Nevill Mott in 1952 as a spin-off from the Philosophical Magazine, which was itself established in 1798 and has been published by Taylor & Francis since 1822.

Advances in Polymer Technology , a quarterly peer-reviewed journal edited under the auspices of the Polymer Processing Institute, presents important developments in polymeric materials, production and processing methods, and equipment and product design. In addition to original articles on trends and advances in polymer technology, the editors welcome review articles, technico-economic studies, and patent reviews, as well as short communications on new processing and product technologies for plastics, elastomers, and other polymers. Examples are technologies for reactive processing, multiphase polymer systems, simulation of processing and product design, recycling and degradation, on-line rheological, morphological, and compositional measurements, and specialty polymers for specific applications. The American Heart Journal will consider for publication suitable articles on topics pertaining to the broad discipline of cardiovascular disease. Our goal is to provide the reader primary investigation, scholarly review, and opinion concerning the practice of cardiovascular medicine. Applied Organometallic Chemistry publishes Full Papers, Reviews, Mini Reviews and Communications of scientific research in all areas of organometallic and metal-organic chemistry involving main group metals, transition metals, lanthanides and actinides. All contributions should contain an explicit application of novel compounds, for instance in materials science, nano science, catalysis, chemical vapour deposition, metal-mediated organic synthesis, polymers, bio-organometallics, metallo-therapy, metallo-diagnostics and medicine. Reviews of books covering aspects of the fields of focus are also published. All new compounds should be satisfactorily identified and proof of their structure given according to generally accepted standards. The Australian Journal of Grape and Wine Research provides a forum for the exchange of information about new and significant research in viticulture, oenology and related fields, and aims to promote these disciplines throughout the world. The Journal publishes results from original research in all areas of viticulture and oenology. This includes issues relating to wine, table and drying grape production; grapevine and rootstock biology, genetics, diseases and improvement; viticultural practices; juice and wine production technologies; vine and wine microbiology; quality effects of processing, packaging and inputs; wine chemistry; sensory science and consumer preferences; and environmental impacts of grape and wine production. Research related to other fermented or distilled beverages may also be considered.
