Archiv der Pharmazie - Chemistry in Life Sciences is an international journal devoted to research and development in all fields of pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry. Emphasis is put on papers combining synthetic organic chemistry, structural biology, molecular modelling, bioorganic chemistry, natural products chemistry, biochemistry or analytical methods with pharmaceutical or medicinal aspects such as biological activity. The focus of this journal is put on original research papers, but other scientifically valuable contributions (e.g. reviews, minireviews, highlights, symposia contributions, discussions, and essays) are also welcome. The official journal of the Chiropractic & Osteopathic College of Australasia (COCA) and the European Academy of Chiropractic (EAC) Chiropractic & Manual Therapies is ready to receive manuscripts on all aspects of evidence-based information that is clinically relevant to chiropractors, manual therapists and related health care professionals. COCA and EAC have agreed to cover the cost of article-processing charges for all manuscripts submitted before January 2013. This will enable Chiropractic & Manual Therapies to remain an international open access journal without charge to authors during this time. Computers (ISSN 2073-431X) is an international, open access journal which provides an advanced forum for computer sciences. It publishes reviews, regular research papers and short communications. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible. There is no restriction on the length of the papers. The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced. The Cahiers de Linguistique Asie Orientale (CLAO) is an established peer-reviewed international journal whose mission is to publish new and original research on the analysis of languages of the East and Southeast Asian region, be they descriptive or theoretical. The journal seeks top-level contributions in any linguistic subdomain and in any theoretical framework with reference to a language or languages from the East and Southeast Asian region. The Formosan Journal of Surgery (FJS) is the official international peer-reviewed publication of the Taiwan Surgical Association. Issues in Mental Health Nursing is a refereed journal designed to expand psychiatric and mental health nursing knowledge. Because clinical research is the primary vehicle for the development of nursing science, the journal presents data-based articles on nursing care provision to clients of all ages in a variety of community and institutional settings. The Journal of Leukocyte Biology (JLB) has its origins in the Journal of the Reticuloendothelial Society (JRES) and is today an increasingly highly recognized international journal reporting scientific advances in leukocyte biology.In 1922, Karl Albert Ludwig Aschoff (1866–1942) coined the term “reticuloendothelial system” (RES) [1]. The RES concept was introduced as early as 1914 by Kenji Kiyono (1855–1955). One of the most prominent characteristics of RES cells was their propensity for absorption and storage of vital stains in granular form that had been introduced into the blood in solution. .
