Physiology & Behavior is aimed at the causal physiological mechanisms of behavior and its modulation by environmental factors. The journal invites original reports in the broad area of behavioral and cognitive neuroscience, in which at least one variable is physiological and the primary emphasis and theoretical context are behavioral. The range of subjects includes behavioral neuroendocrinology, psychoneuroimmunology, learning and memory, ingestion, social behavior, and studies related to the mechanisms of psychopathology. Contemporary reviews and theoretical articles are welcomed and the Editors invite such proposals from interested authors.Thematic issues and more comprehensive studies are also considered for publication, subject to the same review standards and process. Biological Psychology publishes original scientific papers on neural, endocrine, immune, and other physiological aspects of psychological states and processes. Such aspects include assessments by biochemistry, electrophysiology, and neuroimaging during psychological experiments as well as biologically induced changes in psychological function. Psychological investigations based on biological theories are also of interest. All aspects of psychological functioning, including psychopathology, are germane.

The Journal is focused on work with human individuals, but may consider work with animals, if conceptually related to issues in human biological psychology. The Journal welcomes work that spans disciplines and methods and recruits an editorial team that is especially suited for handling such manuscripts. Empirical reports are the core of the Journal, but methodological and theoretical reports relevant to biological psychology are encouraged (see list of article types for more information). Finally, the Journal regularly publishes special issues on selected topics within its scope.

Pedagogy, Culture & Society is a fully-refereed international journal that seeks to provide an international forum for pedagogy discussion and debate. Personnel Psychology publishes psychological research centered around people at work. Teaching Education is an interdisciplinary forum for innovative practices and research in teacher education. Contributions are invited which address social and cultural, practical and theoretical aspects of teacher education in university-, college-, and school-based contexts.The journal's focus is on the challenges and possibilities of rapid social and cultural change for teacher education and, more broadly, for the transformation of education. For more than 30 years, the International Journal of Environmental Studies has been pre-eminent in its field. The environment is understood to comprise the natural and the man-made, and their interactions; including such matters as pollution, health effects, analytical methods, political approaches, social impacts etc. Papers favouring an interdisciplinary approach are preferred, because the evidence of 30 years appears to be that many intellectual tools and many causes and effects are at issue in any environmental problem - and its solution. This does not mean that a single focus or a narrow view is unwelcome; provided always that the evidence is indicated and the method is robust. Pragmatic decision-making and applicable policies are subjects of interest, together with the problems in establishing facts about dynamic systems where long periods of observation and precise measurement may be difficult to secure.In other words, a systems or holistic approach to the environment and a scientific analysis are complementary, and the distinction between 'hard' and 'soft' science is bridged in most of the papers published.These may be on any item in the agenda of environmental science: land, water, food, conservation, population, risk analysis, energy, economics of ecological and non-ecological approaches, social advocacy of arguments for change, legal measures, implications of urbanism, energy choices, waste disposal, recycling, transport systems and other issues of mass society. Educational Studies, as the journal of The American Educational Studies Association (AESA), invites submissions relevant to AESA and the disciplines of social and educational foundations. AESA was established in 1968 as an international learned society for scholars, researchers, teacher educators, students, teachers, and administrators who are interested in social and educational foundations, both in and outside of schools. The organization has attracted scholars who engage within the disciplines of anthropology, economics, history, philosophy, politics, and sociology of education, as well as race/ethnic, gender, queer, cultural, comparative, and transnational studies. Educational Studies provides a cross-disciplinary forum for the exchange and debate of ideas generated from the above-mentioned fields of study.
