Launched over thirty years ago, BJCS is broad-based, multidisciplinary, and international, welcoming contributions from all areas of the arts and humanities and the economic and social sciences. BJCS is committed to publishing research and scholarship on the analysis of Canadian issues, spanning wide-ranging historical and contemporary concerns and interests, as well as varied aspects of domestic, provincial, national, international and global significance.

The Mathematics Education Research Journal, an official journal of the Mathematics Education Research Group of Australasia (MERGA), is an international refereed journal that provides a forum for the publication of research in the teaching and learning of mathematics at all levels. The Mathematics Education Research Journal publishes papers of general interest to an international readership, but papers exploring specifically Australasian issues are welcome.

The International Journal of Climatology aims to span the well established but rapidly growing field of climatology, through the publication of research papers, major reviews of progress and reviews of new books and reports in the area of climate science. The Journal's main role is to stimulate and report research in climatology, from the expansive fields of the atmospheric, biophysical, engineering and social sciences. Coverage includes:

The journal publishes new and significant papers that advance basic and applied research concerning wildland fire. The Journal wishes to attract papers on a broad range of wildland fire issues that may include subjects beyond the range of papers published in recent issues. Manuscripts pertaining to physical and societal aspects of wildland fire will be considered. The Journal has an international perspective, since wildland fire plays a major social, economic and ecological role around the globe.

The Journal aims to provide an international forum for articles of a theological, philosophical, historical and social scientific nature, as well as empirical research perspectives on Catholic education.The scope of the Journal includes articles focused at both a general theoretical level, as well as a specific focus level, relating to the various forms of Catholic education, eg. Elementary/primary, secondary, higher education, adult education, community and parish-based education and seminary education.

The central aim of Studies in Science Education (SiSE) is to publish review articles of the highest quality which provide analytical syntheses of research into key topics and issues in science education. In addressing this aim, the Editors and Editorial Advisory Board, are guided by a commitment to: maintaining and developing the highest standards of scholarship associated with the Journal. publishing articles from as wide a range of authors as possible, in relation both to professional background and country of origin. publishing articles which serve both to consolidate and reflect upon existing fields of study and to promote new areas for research activity. Studies in Science Education will be of interest to all those involved in science education including: science education researchers, doctoral students and masters students; science teachers at elementary, high school and university levels; science education policy makers; science education curriculum developers and text book writers. Articles are made available to Studies in Science Education either by invitation from the Editors or through potential contributors offering pieces. Given the substantial nature of the review articles, the Editors are willing to give informal feedback on the suitability of proposals, though all contributions, whether invited or not, are subject to full peer review. A limited number of books of special interest and concern to those involved in science education is normally reviewed in each volume. The Journal of Spanish Language Teaching is a new peer-reviewed journal that provides an international forum for innovative research, methods, materials and theories on the teaching and learning of Spanish as a foreign language. The Journal's main purpose is to create a dialogue between researchers and practitioners worldwide in order to enrich a discipline that is experiencing tremendous growth. The Journal invites contributions from researchers working on topics related to the teaching and learning of the Spanish language at any educational level and in any setting.

The Journal will publish original research papers as well as book reviews. Periodically, it will also consider monographic issues and critical surveys of recent research related to a specific sub-discipline or geographical area. A thorough peer review process will be applied to both commissioned and unsolicited articles. The Journal of Spanish Language Teaching will constitute an essential journal of reference in the field. There is currently no other academic publication dedicated solely to the teaching and learning of Spanish, which exists in both print and electronic formats, and is global in its reach.
