The International Journal of Economic Theory (IJET) publishes original articles for international audiences in all fields of economic theory. It also publishes empirical and experimental analyses and mathematical techniques where there is strong relevance to economic theory. Specifically it covers:

International Journal of Financial Studies (ISSN 2227-7072) is an international, peer-reviewed scholarly open access journal on the financial market, instruments, policy and management research. It publishes reviews, regular research papers, and communications; there is no restriction on the length of the papers. Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical research in as much detail as possible. Full experimental and/or methodical details must be provided for research articles.

JGM publishes research on global employees, including corporate and self-initiated expatriates and other migrants crossing borders for work purposes. Among those are, for example, inpatriates, international business travellers, short-term assignees and international commuters.

The journal Mineralium Deposita introduces new observations, principles, and interpretations from the field of economic geology, including nonmetallic mineral deposits, experimental and applied geochemistry, with emphasis on mineral deposits. It offers short and comprehensive articles, review papers, brief original papers, scientific discussions and news, as well as reports on meetings of importance to mineral research. The emphasis is on high-quality content and form for all articles and on international coverage of subject matter.The journal also publishes brief fast track papers including up to four display items (tables, line diagrams, photographs) as Letters or Notes. All papers are subject to international peer review.The journal is of interest to those engaged in field geology, mineral deposit research, and ore deposit exploration.

Multilingua is an international interdisciplinary journal aimed at the enhancement of cross-cultural understanding through the study of interlanguage communication. Ecotoxicology is an international journal devoted to presenting fundamental research on the effects of toxic chemicals on populations, communities and terrestrial, freshwater and marine ecosystems. It elucidates mechanisms and processes whereby chemicals exert their effects on ecosystems, and examines the impact caused at the population or community level. The journal is not restricted with respect to taxon or biome, presenting papers that indicate possible new approaches to regulation and control of toxic chemicals and that formulate ways of conserving threatened species. The journal includes not only original research papers but technical notes and review articles, both invited and submitted. A strong, broadly based editorial board ensures as wide an international coverage as possible.

Annals of Epidemiology is a peer reviewed, international journal devoted to epidemiologic research and methodological development. The journal emphasizes the application of epidemiologic methods to issues that affect the distribution and determinants of human illness in diverse contexts. Brain Tumor Pathology is the official journal of the Japan Society of Brain Tumor Pathology. This international journal documents the latest research and topical debate in all clinical and experimental fields relating to brain tumors, especially brain tumor pathology. The journal has been published since 1983 and has been recognized worldwide as a unique journal of high quality. The journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts from any country. Membership in the society is not a prerequisite for submission. The journal publishes original articles, case reports, rapid short communications, instructional lectures, review articles, letters to the editor, and topics. The latter are papers recommended at the annual meeting of the Japan Society of Brain Tumor Pathology. All contributions should be aimed at promoting international scientific collaboration.

The Canadian Journal of Remote Sensing provides a forum for the publication of scientific research and review articles. The journal publishes topics including sensor and algorithm development, image processing techniques and advances focused on a wide range of remote sensing applications including, but not restricted to, forestry and agriculture, ecology, hydrology and water resources, sea and ice, and environmental science. Articles can cover local to global scales and can be directly relevant to the Canadian, or equally important, the international community. Our expanded international editorial board provides expertise in a wide range of remote sensing theory and applications. Articles can be published in English or French. Our sister publication is the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Journal.CJRS is published six times per year, with supplemental special issues as necessary, by the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute (CASI). The International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering publishes refereed papers describing significant developments in numerical methods that are applicable to engineering problems in solids, fluids, structures, fluid-structure interaction, nanotechnology, and multi-physics, multi-disciplinary and multi-scale problems. The Editors also encourage contributions in the areas of model reduction, uncertainty quantification, and verification and validation. Numerical examples that illustrate the methods or their accuracy are encouraged. However, papers dealing strictly with applications of existing methods or dealing with areas of research which are not cutting edge, as deemed by the editors, will not be considered for review. The journal publishes full-length papers, which should normally be less than 25 journal pages in length. Discussions of papers already in print are also considered. Two part papers will be discouraged unless considered necessary by the Editors.

The issues addressed include the quality of response of materials, body structures and energy-absorbing systems subjected to sudden dynamic loading, focussing on new crashworthy structures, new concepts in restraint systems and realistic accident reconstruction. Articles reflect the importance of computer modelling, as well as the development of human surrogates in impact simulation and prediction of vehicle and passenger response. Papers on impact biomechanics, covering human response, mechanics of injury and occupant protection in general, are also published. International Journal of Crashworthiness publishes both original research papers (full papers and short communications) and state-of-the-art reviews. All published research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by independent expert referees.

The Journal of Dentistry is the leading international dental journal within the field of Restorative Dentistry. Stat is a scientific journal for the international community of statisticians and researchers and practitioners in allied quantitative disciplines.

The International Journal of Cardiovascular Imaging publishes basic and clinical communications (research articles, review articles, technical notes and editorial comments) dealing with the design, development and evaluation of imaging methods used to study cardiovascular diseases; these imaging techniques include Magnetic Resonance, computed tomography, X-ray imaging, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. Clinical applications of imaging methods a used in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Topics include: multi-center or larger individual studies dealing with risk stratification and imaging utilization, applications for better characterization of cardiovascular diseases, assessment of the efficacy of new drugs and interventional devices. The interdisciplinary European Journal of Ageing: Social, Behavioural and Health Perspectives (EJA) is devoted to the understanding of ageing around the world. Coverage includes original articles on the social, behavioral and health-related aspects of ageing, encouraging an integrated approach among these aspects. The editors emphasize empirical research, including meta-analyses, but also consider conceptual papers, including narrative reviews, and methodological contributions. By stimulating communication between researchers and those using research findings, EJA aims to contribute to the formulation of better policies and the development of better practice in serving older adults.

City & Community (C&C) aims to advance urban sociological theory, promote the highest quality empirical research on communities and urban social life, and encourage sociological perspectives on urban policy. It welcomes contributions that employ quantitative and qualitative methods as well as comparative and historical approaches. The journal encourages manuscripts exploring the interface of global and local issues, locally embedded social interaction and community life, urban culture and the meaning of place, and sociological approaches to urban political economy. The journal also seeks articles on urban spatial arrangements, social impacts of local natural and built environments, urban and rural inequalities, virtual communities, and other topics germane to urban life and communities that will advance general sociological theory.

The popular culture movement was founded on the principle that the perspectives and experiences of common folk offer compelling insights into the social world. The fabric of human social life is not merely the art deemed worthy to hang in museums, the books that have won literary prizes or been named 'classics,' or the religious and social ceremonies carried out by societies' elite. The Journal of Popular Culture continues to break down the barriers between so-called 'low' and 'high' culture and focuses on filling in the gaps that a neglect of popular culture has left in our understanding of the workings of society.
