The Journal of Wood Science provides an international forum for the exchange of knowledge and the discussion of current issues in wood and wood utilization. It publishes original articles on basic and applied research dealing with the science, technology, and engineering of wood, wood components, wood and wood-based products, and wood constructions. Articles concerned with pulp and paper, fiber resources from non-woody plants, wood-inhabiting insects and fungi, wood biomass, and environmental and ecological issues in forest products are also included. The journal publishes review articles on selected topics concerning wood science and related fields. This is the official journal of the Japan Wood Research Society.

The Journal of Wuhan University of Technology-Mater. Sci. Ed. publishes reviews, full-length papers, and short communications presenting original research in materials science and engineering. The focus is on functional and structural materials, advanced technology for materials synthesis and processing, nanomaterials, composites, and computational material science. All published papers are subjected to peer review, and edited to conform to related international standards. The Journal won the first prize awarded by the Chinese Ministry of Education, ranking it first among all English-version technical journals published in China.

Progress in Engineering Science is a hybrid, broad scope, international journal publishing articles in all fundamental, applied, and interdisciplinary areas of engineering and accepts papers that are scientifically sound and of general interest. The journal also publishes manuscripts reporting negative/null results, incremental advances, and replication studies.

The journal welcomes submissions on both theoretical and industrial aspects of engineering research including but not limited to biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, Industrial and manufacturing engineering, environmental engineering, and architectural and urban planning engineering.

Progress in Engineering Science publishes Full Length Articles, Short Communications, Review Articles, Short Reviews and Case Studies. All papers in the journal are peer reviewed.

Regular and Chaotic Dynamics (RCD) is an international journal publishing original research papers in dynamical systems theory and its applications. Rooted in the Moscow school of mathematics and mechanics, the journal successfully combines classical problems, modern mathematical techniques and breakthroughs in the field. Regular and Chaotic Dynamics welcomes papers that establish original results, characterized by rigorous mathematical settings and proofs, and that also address practical problems. In addition to research papers, the journal publishes review articles, historical and polemical essays, and translations of works by influential scientists of past centuries, previously unavailable in English. Along with regular issues, RCD also publishes special issues devoted to particular topics and events in the world of dynamical systems.

Studies in the Novel is published quarterly by the English Department at the University of North Texas. Since its inception in 1969, it has sought out excellence in criticism of the novel in all periods, from all interpretive approaches. It considers the work of established and emerging novelists worldwide. The average issue contains five to six essays, eight to ten reviews of recent books on novels and novelists, and the occasional essay-review. The journal publishes a special issue roughly once a year, devoted to a single topic, comprised of commissioned essays, and edited by a guest editor. Articles submitted to Studies in the Novel are refereed by a wide array of scholars drawn from an extensive international pool. Studies in the Novel is a member journal of the Council of Editors of Learned Journals.

Weed Biology and Management is an international journal, published four times per year. The journal accepts contributions in the form of original research and review articles in all aspects of weed science. Contributions from weed scientists in the Asia-Pacific region are particularly welcomed. The content of the contributions may relate to weed taxonomy, ecology and physiology, weed management and control methodologies, herbicide behaviors in plants, soils and environment, utilization of weeds and other aspects of weed science. All contributions must be of sufficient quality to extend our knowledge in weed science.

Critical Sociology seeks to engage and promote critical thinking by publishing articles from all perspectives broadly defined as falling within the boundaries of critical or radical social science. The journal is a platform for scholars whose work explores the relationship between race, gender and class in their quest for a deeper understanding of society writ large. It will continue in this fashion in order to preserve its position as one of a select few "alternative" journals having widespread recognition and respect within the world of social science scholarship.

Health Education & Behavior (HEB) is a peer-reviewed bi-monthly journal that provides empirical research, case studies, program evaluations, literature reviews, and discussions of theories of health behavior and health status, as well as strategies to improve social and behavioral health. HEB also examines the processes of planning, implementing, managing, and assessing health education and social-behavioral interventions.

The journal provides a forum for both younger and established scholars engaged in research at the cutting edge of contemporary Holocaust studies. The interests?of the journal are broad and include the investigation?of Nazi genocides as historical and social phenomena, their origins and their consequences. Further, the journal explores the issues of representation and memorialisation through the investigation of film, literature, testimony and public rituals. The geographical and chronological focus of the journal is also extensive.

The journal looks forward to publishing work which considers the Nazi politics of destruction in a global context, including their continuing and wide-ranging legal, social, cultural and political repercussions.

Published bi-annually by Global Oriental for the Mongolia and Inner Asia Studies Unit (MIASU) at the University of Cambridge, Inner Asia is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal with emphasis on the social sciences, humanities and cultural studies. Now in its fourteenth year, Inner Asia is currently one of the very few research-orientated publications in the world in which scholars can address the contemporary and historical problems of the region.

Fundamental plant sciences is increasingly becoming a collaborative domain, with projects for example including physics, mathematics and chemistry. This is largely fuelled by the last decade's many technical advances, allowing for more discoveries but also creating new challenges, such as data storage, analysis and predictions. Interdisciplinary collaborations are often the solution to these challenges.

This journal aims to acknowledge and encourage interdisciplinary research in fundamental plant sciences. It will publish original research papers and method papers in plant research fields such as systems biology, cell biology, genetics, epigenetics, mathematical modeling, omics, signal transduction, plant-microbe interactions, synthetic biology, developmental biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics research, and big data in plant biology. High-quality review articles are also welcome.

To further encourage collaboration in the community, all accepted authors of Research articles are required to make their data accessible to the public. Child Abuse Review provides a forum for all professionals working in the field of child protection, giving them access to the latest research findings, practice developments, training initiatives and policy issues.
