Microbiology Spectrum® (Spectrum) is an online-only, fully open-access journal that publishes research from all domains of basic, applied, and clinical microbial sciences. Rather than making subjective evaluations of potential impact, Microbiology Spectrum publishes research studies that are of high technical quality and are useful to the community. All decisions are made by an international and diverse editorial board that fully represents the microbiology research community. The journal provides authors with fair, rapid, and rigorous peer review. The journal offers rapid publication and wide dissemination of excellent research at no cost to readers.

Affiliated with the Society for Machines and Mentality, the journal Minds and Machines fosters a tradition of criticism within the AI and philosophical communities on problems and issues of common concern. Its scope explicitly encompasses philosophical aspects of computer science. The journal affords an international forum for the discussion and debate of important and controversial issues concerning significant developments within its areas of editorial focus. The Neue Zeitschrift fu¨r Systematische Theologie und Religionsphilosophie which is published in four annual issues of 112 pages each, examines the exciting dialogue between Lutheran-Reformed theology and philosophy in the broadest sense, seeks to keep open a breadth of responsible thought in the controversial issue of contemporary theology, and offers a variety of ways to formulate questions. Pharmaceutical Statistics is an industry-led initiative, tackling real problems in statistical applications. Regular and Chaotic Dynamics (RCD) is an international journal publishing original research papers in dynamical systems theory and its applications. Rooted in the Moscow school of mathematics and mechanics, the journal successfully combines classical problems, modern mathematical techniques and breakthroughs in the field. Regular and Chaotic Dynamics welcomes papers that establish original results, characterized by rigorous mathematical settings and proofs, and that also address practical problems. In addition to research papers, the journal publishes review articles, historical and polemical essays, and translations of works by influential scientists of past centuries, previously unavailable in English. Along with regular issues, RCD also publishes special issues devoted to particular topics and events in the world of dynamical systems.

Space and Culture (SAC), peer-reviewed and published quarterly, brings together dynamic, critical interdisciplinary research at the interface of cultural geography, sociology, cultural studies, architectural theory, ethnography, communications, urban studies, environmental studies and discourse analysis. SAC features articles on novel topics that are not written about anywhere else, review articles on important topics, and book reviews, notably from international and small presses.

Studies in the Novel is published quarterly by the English Department at the University of North Texas. Since its inception in 1969, it has sought out excellence in criticism of the novel in all periods, from all interpretive approaches. It considers the work of established and emerging novelists worldwide. The average issue contains five to six essays, eight to ten reviews of recent books on novels and novelists, and the occasional essay-review. The journal publishes a special issue roughly once a year, devoted to a single topic, comprised of commissioned essays, and edited by a guest editor. Articles submitted to Studies in the Novel are refereed by a wide array of scholars drawn from an extensive international pool. Studies in the Novel is a member journal of the Council of Editors of Learned Journals.

Weed Biology and Management is an international journal, published four times per year. The journal accepts contributions in the form of original research and review articles in all aspects of weed science. Contributions from weed scientists in the Asia-Pacific region are particularly welcomed. The content of the contributions may relate to weed taxonomy, ecology and physiology, weed management and control methodologies, herbicide behaviors in plants, soils and environment, utilization of weeds and other aspects of weed science. All contributions must be of sufficient quality to extend our knowledge in weed science.

Since 1993 the papers continually treat problems which were published in the journal Sociologie venkova a zemedelství until now. An extensive scope of subjects in fact covers the whole of agribusiness, that means economic relations of suppliers and producers of inputs for agriculture and food industry, problems from the aspects of social economy and rural sociology and finally the economics of the population nutrition. Papers are published in English with Czech or Slovak abstracts.

Critical Sociology seeks to engage and promote critical thinking by publishing articles from all perspectives broadly defined as falling within the boundaries of critical or radical social science. The journal is a platform for scholars whose work explores the relationship between race, gender and class in their quest for a deeper understanding of society writ large. East European Politics and Societies (EEPS), published quarterly, covers issues in Eastern Europe from social, political, and humanities perspectives. The journal focuses on expanding readers' understanding of past events and current developments in countries from Greece to the Baltics. EEPS maintains a tradition of imaginative and erudite vision, uniting the cutting-edge social research and political analysis of leading area specialists, historians, sociologists, political scientists and anthropologists from around the world.

Health Education & Behavior (HEB) is a peer-reviewed bi-monthly journal that provides empirical research, case studies, program evaluations, literature reviews, and discussions of theories of health behavior and health status, as well as strategies to improve social and behavioral health. HEB also examines the processes of planning, implementing, managing, and assessing health education and social-behavioral interventions.

The journal provides a forum for both younger and established scholars engaged in research at the cutting edge of contemporary Holocaust studies. The interests?of the journal are broad and include the investigation?of Nazi genocides as historical and social phenomena, their origins and their consequences. Further, the journal explores the issues of representation and memorialisation through the investigation of film, literature, testimony and public rituals. Fundamental plant sciences is increasingly becoming a collaborative domain, with projects for example including physics, mathematics and chemistry. This is largely fuelled by the last decade's many technical advances, allowing for more discoveries but also creating new challenges, such as data storage, analysis and predictions. Interdisciplinary collaborations are often the solution to these challenges.

This journal aims to acknowledge and encourage interdisciplinary research in fundamental plant sciences. It will publish original research papers and method papers in plant research fields such as systems biology, cell biology, genetics, epigenetics, mathematical modeling, omics, signal transduction, plant-microbe interactions, synthetic biology, developmental biology, biochemistry, bioinformatics research, and big data in plant biology. High-quality review articles are also welcome.

To further encourage collaboration in the community, all accepted authors of Research articles are required to make their data accessible to the public. This will avoid duplicate projects and speed up the progress of science. The journal will actively link and cooperate with some of these databases, as well as with computational infrastructure. Data should always be submitted in raw data format, and should be submitted preferentially in publicly accessible resources maintained by for example EBI, EMBL, or NCBI data.
