The Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science (JAMS) is devoted to the study and improvement of marketing and serves as a vital link between scholarly research and practice by publishing research-based articles in the substantive domain of marketing.

Manuscripts submitted for publication consideration in JAMS are judged on the basis of their potential contribution to the advancement of the science and/or practice of marketing. In order for a manuscript to be published in JAMS it must, at the minimum, meet the following criteria:

The JAMS Editorial Office makes a concerted effort to ensure manuscript turnaround in fewer than 40 days. However, because JAMS is committed to ensuring that reviews are fair, informed, objective, and constructive, there may be occasional instances in which the turnaround time is longer.

The Journal of the World Aquaculture Society is an international scientific journal publishing original, peer-reviewed, English-language papers on the culture of aquatic plants and animals. The Journal, published bi-monthly, covers nutrition, disease, genetics and breeding, physiology, environmental quality, culture systems engineering, husbandry practices, and economics and marketing as well as a number of other topics related to the culture of aquatic organisms. The Journal is listed in Current Contents as well as several other major Contents/Abstracting services and currently has a citation factor of 0.657.Papers are selected for publication based on scientific competence and the significance of the knowledge or ideas presented. Four categories of papers are published in the Journal. Review Articles provide objective synthesis of a subject of importance in aquaculture. Research Articles are full scientific reports of original research. Research Notes differ from research articles on the basis of scope, not quality, and are generally shorter and of narrower scientific focus. Finally, Communications are brief reports of new observations, concepts, or methodologies.

Aquatic Conservation: Marine and Freshwater Ecosystems is an international journal dedicated to publishing original papers that relate specifically to freshwater, brackish or marine habitats and encouraging work that spans these ecosystems. This journal provides a forum in which all aspects of the conservation of aquatic biological resources can be presented and discussed, enabling greater cooperation and efficiency in solving problems in aquatic resource conservation. The publication of both practical studies in conservation as well as theoretical considerations of the underlying principles is encouraged. Contributions are accepted from as wide a geographical range as possible to ensure a broad representation of conservation issues in both developed and developing countries. The journal also publishes short communications, review articles and discussions. Aquatic Conservation: Marine and Freshwater Ecosystems serves as a focus for scientists in research institutes, universities, industry, nature conservation organizations and all levels of government as well as aquatic habitat and fishery managers and policy makers concerned with these issues.

Archives of Medical Research publishes original peer-reviewed medical research in an attempt to bridge the gaps created by medical specialization. Contributions are grouped into three main categories - biomedical, clinical, and epidemiological. Review articles, outstanding case reports, and preliminary communications will also be considered. Devoted to an examination of the civilizations of the Near East, the Journal of Near Eastern Studies has for 125 years published contributions from scholars of international reputation on the archaeology, art, history, languages, literatures, and religions of the Near East. Founded in 1884 as Hebraica, the journal was renamed twice over the course of the following century, each name change reflecting the growth and expansion of the fields covered by the publication. In 1895 it became the American Journal of Semitic Languages and Literatures, and in 1942 it received its present designation, the Journal of Near Eastern Studies. From an original emphasis on Old Testament studies in the nineteenth century, JNES has since broadened its scope to encompass all aspects of the vibrant and varied civilizations of the Near East, from ancient times to World War I. A substantial book review section in every issue provides a critical overview of new publications by both emerging and established scholars. The Journal of Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamics serves as an international publication organ for new ideas, insights and results on non-equilibrium phenomena in science, engineering and related natural systems.
