The Journal of Cost Analysis and Parametrics is the official publication of the International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association. It is a scholarly journal featuring peer-reviewed articles that provide the latest developments in cost estimating, cost analysis, and cost management. Its objective is to improve the theory and practice of cost estimating, analysis, management, and research results among cost-analysis educators and practitioners around the world.

The Journal seeks to publish research that is interesting, intellectually rigorous, and advances the body of knowledge of cost analysis and parametrics. Papers involving a variety of topics, settings, and research methods are solicited. Manuscripts related to a broad range of application areas for any sector of the economy including manufacturing, financial services, construction, retail, defense, and not-for-profit are desired. Journal of the Asia Pacific Economy (JAPE) is concerned primarily with the developing economies within Pacific Asia and South Asia. It aims to promote greater understanding of the complex factors that have influenced and continue to shape the transformation of the diverse economies in this region. Studies on developed countries will be considered only if they have implications for the developing countries in the region. JAPE's editorial policy is to maintain a sound balance between theoretical and empirical studies. JAPE publishes research papers in economics but also welcomes papers that deal with economic issues using a multi-disciplinary approach. Submissions may range from overviews spanning the region or parts of it, to papers with a detailed focus on particular issues facing individual countries. JAPE has a broad readership, which makes papers concerned with narrow and detailed technical matters inappropriate for inclusion. In addition, papers should not be simply one more application of a formal model or statistical technique used elsewhere. Authors should note that discussion of results must make sense intuitively, and relate to the institutional and historical context of the geographic area analyzed. We particularly ask authors to spell out the practical policy implications of their findings for governments and business. In addition to articles, JAPE publishes short notes, comments and book reviews. From time to time, it also publishes special issues on matters of great importance to economies in the Asia Pacific area. Educational Technology Research and Development is the only scholarly journal in the field focusing entirely on research and development in educational technology.

The Research Section assigns highest priority in reviewing manuscripts to rigorous original quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods studies on topics relating to applications of technology or instructional design in educational settings.  Such contexts include K-12, higher education, and adult learning (e.g., in corporate training settings).  Analytical papers that evaluate important research issues related to educational technology research and reviews of the literature on similar topics are also published. This section features well documented articles on the practical aspects of research as well as applied theory in educational practice and provides a comprehensive source of current research information in instructional technology.

The Development Section publishes research on planning, implementation, evaluation and management of a variety of instructional technologies and learning environments. Empirically-based formative evaluations and theoretically-based instructional design research papers are welcome, as are papers that report outcomes of innovative approaches in applying technology to instructional development. Papers for the Development section may involve a variety of research methods and should focus on one or more aspects of the instructional development process; when relevant and possible, papers should discuss the implications of instructional design decisions and provide evidence linking outcomes to those decisions.

The Cultural and Regional Perspectives Section (formerly International Review) welcomes innovative research about how technologies are being used to enhance learning, instruction, and performance specific to a culture or region. Educational technology studies submitted to this section should be, situated in cultural contexts that critically examine issues and ideologies prevalent in the culture or region or by individuals or groups in the culture or region. Theoretical perspectives can be broadly based and inclusive of research, such as critical race theory, cultural-historical activity theory, and cultural models. Papers published in this section include quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods articles and reviews drawing on relevant theories, empirical evidence, and critical analyses of the findings, implications, and conclusions within a cultural context.

Computer Science – Research and Development (CSRD), formerly Informatik – Forschung und Entwicklung (IFE), is a quarterly international journal that publishes high-quality research and survey papers from the Software Engineering & Systems area and its adjacent disciplines, with inclusion of embedded systems, mobile systems, information systems, algorithm engineering, web engineering, ubiquitous computing, service-oriented architectures, model-driven architectures, process-oriented architectures and related topics. Also, contributions describing research in application areas as e.g. mechanical engineering, medical engineering and medical technology, traffic engineering and environmental technology are welcome. CSRD is oriented towards practical and also industrial applications since many developments in Computer Science, even those of a fundamental nature, are driven by practical considerations. Contributions from industry are very welcome. In general, two kinds of papers are published in CSRD: research papers presenting novel approaches and results, and survey papers summarizing current developments. CSRD continues the tradition of publishing special issues on selected topics in the field of Software Engineering & Systems. All papers are reviewed in a peer-review process. CSRD focuses on publishing in English while still accepting German papers for a transitional period.

Cor et Vasa, the journal of the Czech Society of Cardiology and Czech Society for Cardiovascular Surgery, publishes 6 times a year and covers all aspects of cardiology, angiology, cardiovascular surgery, cardiovascular imaging, pediatric cardiology, hypertension, cardiovascular prevention and some aspects of interventional radiology. Biomedical Signal Processing and Control aims to provide a cross-disciplinary international forum for the interchange of information on research in the measurement and analysis of signals and images in clinical medicine and the biological sciences.
