Logistics Research is an academic, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal, publishing research from an interdisciplinary perspective in logistics management and engineering. Logistics Research solicits and publishes work advancing the development of logistics theory, methods and innovative logistics practices as well as the integration of the various associated disciplines such as management and social sciences, economics, behavioral sciences, operations research, informatics, and other relevant engineering sciences.

This journal is devoted to publishing creative and scholarly economic analyses of a range of issues related to natural resource use in the global marine environment. The journal welcomes conceptual and empirical investigations aimed at addressing real world policy problems, including studies of fisheries, aquaculture, seafood marketing and trade, marine mammals, recreation, pollution, oil and gas, coastal land use, estuaries and watersheds.

Crime & Delinquency (CAD), peer-reviewed and published bi-monthly, is a policy-oriented journal offering a wide range of research and analysis for the scholar and professional in criminology and criminal justice. SEJ is the first journal to focus specifically on the social enterprise aspect of entrepreneurial activity. It encourages interdisciplinary and critical studies of social enterprise to deepen our understanding of social enterprise and social entrepreneurship.

Disability & Society is an international journal providing a focus for debate about such issues as human rights, discrimination, definitions, policy and practices. It appears against a background of change in the ways in which disability is viewed and responded to. Definitions of disability are more readily acknowledged to be relative; segregated approaches are seen as inadequate and unacceptable - placing greater emphasis on community care and inclusion. However, policy intentions may not have the desired effects on the realities of everyday practice and policy changes themselves may be merely cosmetic, or appropriate but unfounded. The Journal publishes articles that represent a wide range of perspectives including the importance of the voices of disabled people. As well as main articles there is a Current Issues section that is intended to give people the opportunity to write about things that concern them in a less formal and academic way. The pieces should be interesting, controversial or even polemical and may encourage others to respond. They do not need to meet the conventional academic criteria but they should not be personal attacks or libellous. The word limit is 2000. Book Reviews Every edition of the journal contains up to four book reviews. These cover a wide range of issues on the social, political and cultural aspects of disability from a national and international perspective. The Book Reviews Editor, Alison Sheldon welcomes suggestions both for books to be reviewed and suitable reviewers. Letters and Doctoral Theses Special Issues The Journal also publishes Special Issues which address a chosen theme central to disability studies. The issues are open to submission of papers by any interested parties and they seek to include contributions from authors in a range of countries. All papers are refereed in line with the normal refereeing procedures of the Journal. The most recent Special Issue published in 2009 Vol 24, Number 5 is on the theme: 'Brave New World?': Disability and the 21st Century: Challenges and Solutions.' Future Special Issues, procedures and dates for submission, will be advertised at least 9 months in advance of the deadline. The Journal of Modern Jewish Studies is international and interdisciplinary, covering history, social studies, religion, thought, literature and the arts. It encourages work from younger scholars at the start of their academic careers, as well as welcoming contributions from established and senior scholars. Photographies seeks to construct a new agenda for theorising photography as a heterogeneous medium that is changing in an ever more dynamic relation to all aspects of contemporary culture. Photographies aims to further develop the history and theory of photography, considering new frameworks for thinking and addressing questions arising from the present context of technological, economic, political and cultural change. Photographies investigates the contemporary condition and currency of the photographic within local and global contexts. Plant Biosystems is the research journal edited by the Societa Botanica Italiana. Published three times a year, the journal is open to papers dealing with all aspects of plant biology, systematics, and ecology. Research studies containing novel and significant findings, from the molecular level to ecosystems and from micro-organisms to flowering plants, are welcome. Plant Biosystems succeeded 'Giornale Botanico Italiano', the historical journal of the Societa Botanica Italiana, from the year 1997. Plant Biosystems has been conceived in consideration of the recent progress in botanical research. An editorial board has been devised to ensure that all the main trends of contemporary plant science are represented. Manuscripts are classified as 'Full Paper', 'Rapid Report' or 'Short Communication'. A Rapid Report is intended for publication, in a concise form, of new and relevant findings. The classification as Rapid Report is determined by the Editor. A Short Communication (no more than two printed pages) is for a concise but independent report. It is not intended for publication of preliminary results. Review articles are also published, but only upon invitation by the Editor. Remote Sensing Letters is a peer-reviewed international journal committed to the rapid publication of articles advancing the science and technology of remote sensing as well as its applications. The journal originates from a successful section, of the same name, contained in the International Journal of Remote Sensing from 1983-2009. Articles may address any aspect of remote sensing of relevance to the journal's readership including, but not limited to, developments in sensor technology, advances in image processing and Earth-orientated applications, whether terrestrial, oceanic or atmospheric. Articles should make a positive impact on the subject by either contributing new and original information or through provision of theoretical, methodological or commentary material that acts to strengthen the subject. Articles should be submitted through the journal's ScholarOne Manuscripts site and may be of no more than 10 journal pages in length; it may be possible to transfer articles such as those that cannot meet this limit to the International Journal of Remote Sensing. Articles that pass initial processing stages will be sent out for review. The reviews solicited from independent experts and the journal's editorial board will inform the editorial decisions.
