Annals of Leisure Research publishes refereed articles which promote the development of research and scholarship in leisure studies. Although originating in Australasia, Annals is aimed at an international readership, and seeks theoretical or applied articles which cover any topic within the broad area of leisure studies, including recreation, tourism, the arts, outdoor recreation, entertainment, sport, culture and play.

Anthropology Today is a bimonthly publication which aims to provide a forum for the application of anthropological analysis to public and topical issues, while reflecting the breadth of interests within the discipline of anthropology. It is also committed to promoting debate at the interface between anthropology and areas of applied knowledge such as education, medicine, development etc. as well as that between anthropology and other academic disciplines. Anthropology Today encourages submissions on a wide range of topics, consistent with these aims. Anthropology Today is an international journal both in the scope of issues it covers and in the sources it draws from.

International in perspective, Aquaculture Research is published 12 times a year and specifically addresses research and reference needs of all working and studying within the many varied areas of aquaculture. The Journal regularly publishes papers on applied or scientific research relevant to freshwater, brackish, and marine aquaculture. It covers all aquatic organisms, floristic and faunistic, related directly or indirectly to human consumption. The journal also includes review articles, short communications and technical papers. Young scientists are particularly encouraged to submit short communications based on their own research.

Arabic Linguistics is an international peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles on all aspects of the scientific study of Arabic in all its varieties. The focus may be on one or more varieties, the perspective may be synchronic or diachronic, and the methodology may be quantitative or qualitative. Contributions are invited which address current issues in linguistics, with Arabic as the object of investigation. No specific theoretical approaches are given any preference, but submissions need to have clear implications for linguistic theory and cannot be only descriptive in nature. Striving to be a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research on Arabic linguistics, the journal will also publish reviews of important new books in related areas as well as occasional squibs and dissertation abstracts.

Archives of Insect Biochemistry and Physiology is an international journal that publishes articles in English that are of interest to insect biochemists and physiologists. Generally these articles will be in, or related to, one of the following subject areas: Endocrinology, Development, Neurobiology, Behavior, Pharmacology, Nutrition, Carbohydrates, Lipids, Enzymes, Proteins, Peptides, Nucleic Acids, Molecular Biology, Toxicology. ARCHIVES will publish only original articles. Articles that are confirmatory in nature or deal with analytical methods previously described will not be accepted.

Arctic, Antarctic, and Alpine Research is a quarterly international journal. It publishes original research papers, shorter contributions, resulting correspondence, and book reviews. The subject matter deals with any scientific or cultural aspect of Arctic, Antarctic, and alpine environments and related topics on subarctic, subantarctic, subalpine environments, and paleoenvironments. Chinese Journal of Integrative Medicine, originally entitled 'Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine' (English Edition), was founded in 1995, and changed formally its name in 2003. This journal is supervised by State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, sponsored by Chinese Association of Integrative Medicine and China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It is the first international peer-reviewed monthly journal on integrative medicine included in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-E).

The international journal Climate Dynamics provides for the publication of high-quality research on all aspects of the dynamics of the global climate system. Coverage includes original paleoclimatic, diagnostic, analytical and numerical modeling research on the structure and behavior of the atmosphere, oceans, cryosphere, biomass and land surface as interacting components of the dynamics of global climate. IJCMSSE provides a blend of theoretical and applied study of computational materials science and surface engineering. Its scope includes original contributions on materials science and engineering, surface engineering, and computational methods of modelling, simulation and prediction for designing materials and structures at all length scales. The journal aims to address solutions to current engineering problems in which computational materials science and surface engineering methods must be applied, and to publish state-of-the-art reviews of current problems that will stimulate research.

Most research and experiments in the fields of science, engineering and social studies have spent significant efforts to find rules from various complicated phenomena by observations, recorded data, logic derivations and so on. The rules are normally summarised as concise and quantitative expressions or "models". "Identification" provides mechanisms to establish the models and "control" provides mechanisms to improve the system's (represented by its model) performance. IJMIC has been set up to reflect the relevant generic studies in this area.
