Review Process

Research in Middle Level Education Online (RMLE Online) uses a triple-blind review process. Manuscripts are initially reviewed by the Editor. Manuscripts that meet the journal's standards are forwarded to three reviewers who serve on the Editorial Review Board. A decision regarding publication is typically reached within two months of the date the manuscript is sent out for review. This decision is communicated to the corresponding author by email. 

The international journal on Road Materials and Pavement Design welcomes contributions on mechanical, thermal, chemical and/or physical properties of bitumens, additives, bituminious mixes, asphalt concrete, cement concrete, unbound granular materials, soils, geo-composites, new and innovative materials, as well as mix design, soil stabilization, and environmental aspects of handling and re-use of road materials.The Journal also intends to offer a platform for the publication of research of immediate interest regarding design and modeling of pavement behavior and performance, structural evaluation, stress, strain and thermal characterization and/or calculation, vehicule/road interaction, climatic effects and numerical and analytical modeling. The different layers of the road, including the soil, are considered.

Romance Studies, founded in 1982 by Valerie Minogue and Brian Nelson, is an international, fully refereed journal devoted to the study of the Romance literatures and cultures. With a distinguished advisory panel representative of leading research across the disciplines, the journal is a forum for both established scholars and new researchers worldwide. The editors offer constructive criticism where appropriate and advise young scholars and new contributors on the effective presentation of their material. The peer-reviewed Russian Journal of Mathematical Physics addresses a broad range of topics, including functional analysis, linear and partial differential equations, algebras, modern differential and algebraic geometry and topology, representations of Lie groups, calculus of variations, asymptotic methods, random process theory, dynamical systems, and control theory.The journal presents mainly original papers with full proof, but also publishes brief communications and state-of-the-art reviews. In addition to purely mathematical papers, the journal is hospitable to theses with less rigorous, or 'physical', levels of proof, which are sometimes useful and lead to major advances in science, as well as to analyses based on the heuristic or speculative approaches. Recently-declassified classic papers will also finally see the light of day.The journal is international in scope, and invites papers in English from mathematical physicists everywhere.

Scandinavian Journal of History presents articles on Scandinavian history and review essays surveying themes in recent Scandinavian historical research.It concentrates on perspectives of national historical particularities and important long-term and short-term developments. The editorial policy gives particular priority to Scandinavian topics and to efforts of placing Scandinavian developments into a larger context. Studies explicitly comparing Scandinavian processes and phenomena to those in other parts of the world are therefore regarded as particularly important. In addition to publishing articles and review essays, the journal includes short book reviews. Review essay proposals and polemical communications are welcomed.Scandinavian Journal of History is published for the Historical Associations of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden and the Scandinavian subcommittees of the International Committee of Historical Sciences.

The Scandinavian Journal of Statistics is internationally recognised as one of the leading statistical journals in the world. It was founded in 1974 by four Scandinavian statistical societies. Today more than eighty per cent of the manuscripts are submitted from outside Scandinavia. It is an international journal devoted to reporting significant and innovative original contributions to statistical methodology, both theory and applications. The journal specializes in statistical modelling showing particular appreciation of the underlying substantive research problems. The emergence of specialized methods for analysing longitudinal and spatial data is just one example of an area of important methodological development in which the Scandinavian Journal of Statistics has a particular niche.

School Psychology Quarterly® publishes empirical studies and literature reviews of the psychology of education and services for children in school settings, encompassing a full range of methodologies and orientations, including educational, cognitive, social, cognitive behavioral, preventive, cross-cultural, and developmental perspectives.Focusing primarily on children, youth, and the adults who serve them, School Psychology Quarterly publishes research pertaining to the education of populations across the life span.We welcome manuscripts from scholars throughout the world, including research from multi-site international projects and work that has the potential to be adapted to and implemented around the globe to address the needs of diverse populations, cultures, and communities.Papers linking innovative empirical research with practice and public policy in the USA and elsewhere will also be considered.

Sociology of Health & Illness is an international journal which publishes sociological articles on all aspects of health, illness, medicine and health care.
