IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Magazine is a monthly magazine that publishes articles concerned with the various aspects of systems for space, air, ocean, or ground environments as well as news and information of interest to IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society members. The boundaries of acceptable subject matter has been intentionally left flexible so that the Magazine can follow the research activities, technology applications and future trends to better meet the needs of the members of the IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society. IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Magazine articles apprise readers of new developments, new applications of cornerstone technology, and news of society members, meetings, and related items.

Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, the technical journal of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP), has been published regularly since 1889, as part of the ASP’s mission to advance the science of astronomy and disseminate astronomical information. The journal provides an outlet for astronomical results of a scientific nature and serves to keep readers in touch with current astronomical research. It contains refereed research andinstrumentation papers, invited reviews, and dissertation summaries. .

Conflict, Security and Development provides an analytical and empirically informed treatment of the linkages between issues of security and development in contemporary international relations. It places emphasis on the need to examine issues of security and development in their mutual interaction rather than as separate areas of academic enquiry and policy-making. Conflict, Security and Development bridges traditional development and security studies through its focus on cross-cutting policy agendas, and also establishes connections with related disciplines, including anthropology, political economy and regional studies. The journal fills this analytical gap with fresh, objective and intellectually provocative research and also offers a forum for the cross-fertilisation of ideas and for reasoned and rigorous debate between the academic and policy communities in the North and South. International Biodeterioration and Biodegradation publishes original research papers and reviews on the biological causes of deterioration or degradation.– The causes may be macro– or microbiological, whose origins may be aerial, aquatic, or terrestrial.– The effects may include corrosion, fouling, rotting, decay, infection, disfigurement, toxification, weakening or processes that liquefy, detoxify, or mineralize.– The materials affected may include natural, synthetic or refined materials [such as metals, hydrocarbons and oils, foodstuffs and beverages, pharmaceuticals, cellulose and wood, plastics and polymers, fibres, paper, leather, waste materials or any other material of commercial importance]; and structures or systems [such as buildings, works of art, processing equipment, etc.] as well as hazardous wastes, and includes environmental and occupational health aspects resulting from the activities of the biological agents described above.Papers on all aspects of cause, mode of action, treatment, protection and prevention, analysis and testing, detoxification, upgrading, commercial implications, biocides and substitutes and related areas are welcome. The Journal of African Cultural Studies is an international journal providing a forum for perceptions of African culture from inside and outside Africa, with a special commitment to African scholarship. It focuses on dimensions of African culture including African literatures both oral and written, performance arts, visual arts, music, the role of the media, the relationship between culture and power, as well as issues within such fields as popular culture in Africa, sociolinguistic topics of cultural interest, and culture and gender. It has evolved from the journal African Languages and Cultures, founded in 1988 in the Department of the Languages and Cultures of Africa at the School of Oriental and African Studies, London. Although the journal no longer carries articles on African languages that are primarily linguistic in character, it remains strongly interested in the languages of Africa as channels for the expression of their culture.
