Journal of College and Character is a professional journal that examines how colleges and universities impact the moral and civic engagement of students. The journal publishes scholarly articles and applied research on issues concerning ethics, values,character development, and spiritual growth in the higher education setting. In addition to its primary emphasis on peer reviewed articles, the journal publishes ongoing columns on current topics relating to the journal's mission as well as invited articles by leading scholars in the field of higher education and character development.

Published quarterly, the journal encourages the submission of manuscripts from around the world and from a wide range of academic and professional fields, including higher education, student affairs, psychology, religion, sociology, business, social work, philosophy, law, and education.

Journal of College and Character, sponsored by NASPA - Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education,  is co-edited by Jon C. Dalton and Pamela C. Crosby. Dalton, a leader in the field of higher education and student affairs, is professor emeritus of higher education and former director of the Hardee Center for Leadership and Ethics in Higher Education at The Florida State University.  Crosby is a Milken National Award Educator, former associate editor of American Journal of Theology and Philosophy, and past chief editor of Character Clearinghouse.

The journal audience includes faculty, administrators, graduate students, and practitioners in student services and campus ministry, as well as others engaged in research and practice in moral education in colleges and universities.

The purpose of the journal is also to stimulate international dialog among academics, industry participants, traders, investors, and policymakers with mutual interests in commodity markets. The mandate for the journal is to present ongoing work within commodity economics and finance. Topics can be related to financialization of commodity markets; pricing, hedging, and risk analysis of commodity derivatives; risk premia in commodity markets; real option analysis for commodity project investment and production; portfolio allocation including commodities; forecasting in commodity markets; corporate finance for commodity-exposed corporations; econometric/statistical analysis of commodity markets; organization of commodity markets; regulation of commodity markets; local and global commodity trading; and commodity supply chains. Commodity markets in this context are energy markets (including renewables), metal markets, mineral markets, agricultural markets, livestock and fish markets, markets for weather derivatives, emission markets, shipping markets, water, and related markets. This interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary journal will cover all commodity markets and is thus relevant for a broad audience. Commodity markets are not only of academic interest but also highly relevant for many practitioners, including asset managers, industrial managers, investment bankers, risk managers, and also policymakers in governments, central banks, and supranational institutions.

The Journal of Environmental Radioactivity provides a coherent international forum for publication of original research or review papers on any aspect of the occurrence of radioactivity in natural systems.Relevant subject areas range from applications of environmental radionuclides as mechanistic or timescale tracers of natural processes to assessments of the radioecological or radiological effects of ambient radioactivity. Papers deal with naturally occurring nuclides or with those created and released by man through nuclear weapons manufacture and testing, energy production, fuel-cycle technology, etc. Reports on radioactivity in the oceans, sediments, rivers, lakes, groundwaters, soils, atmosphere and all divisions of the biosphere are welcomed, but these should not simply be of a monitoring nature unless the data are particularly innovative.Research papers are also included which, by either experimental or theoretical approaches, aim towards an improved understanding of the behaviour, transfer and distribution of environmental radionuclides. Predictive modelling is particularly encouraged. Papers on dating methods are acceptable if they have clear geophysical or geochemical significance. Descriptions of experimental methods should be both highly original and specifically related to determination of low-level environmental activities.The journal provides a vehicle for objective, open and peer-reviewed publication and discussion of the more controversial aspects of environmental radioactivity, including assessments of health effects, criteria for discharge control and options for ultimate disposal of nuclear wastes.Publication in this field is also encouraged in the related book series Radioactivity in the Environment designed to complement the coverage of the journal.

The Journal of Stored Products Research provides an international medium for the publication of both reviews and original results from laboratory and field studies on the preservation and safety of stored products, notably food stocks, covering storage-related problems from the producer through the supply chain to the consumer. The Justice System Journal is an interdisciplinary journal that publishes original research articles on all aspects of law, courts, court administration, judicial behavior, and the impact of all of these on public and social policy. Open as to methodological approaches, the Justice System Journal aims to use the latest in advanced social science research and analysis to bridge the gap between practicing and academic law, courts and politics communities.

The Justice System Journal invites submission of original articles and research notes that are likely to be of interest to scholars and practitioners in the field of law, courts, and judicial administration, broadly defined. Articles may draw on a variety of research approaches in the social sciences. The journal does not publish articles devoted to extended analysis of legal doctrine such as a law review might publish, although short manuscripts analyzing cases or legal issues are welcome and will be considered for the Legal Notes section. The Justice System Journal was created by the National Center for State Courts located in Williamsburg, Virginia, and it has been published under the auspices of that organization since 1976.

The Justice System Journal features peer-reviewed research articles as well as reviews of important books in law and courts, and analytical research notes on some of the leading cases from state and federal courts. The journal periodically produces special issues that provide analysis of fundamental and timely issues on law and courts from both national and international perspectives.

Mind, Culture, and Activity (MCA) is an interdisciplinary, international journal devoted to the study of the human mind in its cultural and historical contexts. Articles appearing in MCA draw upon research and theory in a variety of disciplines, including anthropology, cognitive science, education, linguistics, psychology, and sociology. Particular emphasis is placed upon research that seeks to resolve methodological problems associated with the analysis of human action in everyday activities and theoretical approaches that place culture and activity at the center of attempts to understand human nature.MCA is organized into four distinct sections; the relative weights of each will change somewhat from issue to issue. Molecular Medicine is the international, peer-reviewed, biomedical journal published by the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research (New York). Solid State Communications is an international medium for the publication of short communications on significant developments in condensed matter science, giving scientists immediate access to important, recently completed work. The journal publishes original experimental and theoretical research on the physical and chemical properties of solids and other condensed systems and also on their preparation. The submission of manuscripts reporting research on the basic physics of materials science and devices, as well as of state-of-the-art microstructures and nanostructures, is encouraged.A coherent quantitative treatment emphasizing new physics is expected rather than a simple accumulation of experimental data. FEBS Journal is an international Journal devoted to the rapid publication of full-length papers covering a wide range of topics in any area of the molecular life sciences. The criteria for acceptance are originality and high quality research, which will provide novel perspectives in a specific area of research, and will be of interest to our broad readership.
