Australian Historical Studies is a refereed journal publishing original and previously unpublished (online or hard copy) articles. First published in 1940, it is now one of Australia's oldest, best-known and most highly-regarded academic journals, which ERA rate as A. It receives contributions from leading academics in the field. It is published in March, June and December each year. Australian Historical Studies deals with all aspects of the history of Australia-New Zealand, and Pacific regional issues and with other histories insofar as they significantly inform the understanding of this history. All varieties of history are welcomed. The Journal of Biomechanics publishes reports of original and substantial findings using the principles of mechanics to explore biological problems. ACM Transactions on Algorithms welcomes submissions of original research of the highest quality dealing with algorithms that are inherently discrete and finite, and having mathematical content in a natural way, either in the objective or in the analysis. Most welcome are new algorithms and data structures, new and improved analyses, and complexity results. The purpose of ACM Transactions on Computer Systems is to present research and development results on the design, specification, realization, behavior, and use of computer systems. The term "computer systems" is interpreted broadly and includes systems architectures, operating systems, distributed systems, and computer networks. Articles that appear in TOCS will tend either to present new techniques and concepts or to report on experiences and experiments with actual systems. Insights useful to system designers, builders, and users will be emphasized. TOCS publishes research and technical papers, both short and long. It includes technical correspondence to permit commentary on technical topics and on previously published papers.

The IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion publishes both research and application-oriented articles dealing with the development, design, operation, modeling, analysis, diagnostics and control of electrical equipment used to convert any kind of energy (such as mechanical, chemical and solar) into electrical energy and vice versa. Any electric power generating apparatus based on fossil, renewable, nuclear or unconventional sources and used for either centralized or distributed generation systems is of interest for the journal. The scope also includes any kind of equipment used to convert electric into mechanical power, such as electric drives, machinery and actuators. Electrical energy storage and electrical energy production from storage are covered. Power electronics and control should not be the primary research contribution of the papers. They are of interest only when they are part of the energy conversion process being described, such as power electronics converters treated as a part of electric drives, or grid interfaces for electric power generation or electric energy storage devices.

The IEEE Transactions on Semiconductor Manufacturing publishes the latest advances related to the manufacture of microelectronic and photonic components and integrated systems, including photovoltaic devices and micro-electro-mechanical systems. Its principal aim is to continually enhance the knowledge base and improve manufacturing practice across the entire supply chain from fabrication to delivery of these devices. Areas of interest include process integration, manufacturing equipment performance and modeling, yield analysis and enhancement, metrology, process control, material handling, factory systems and all areas of factory and supply chain management related to the semiconductor industry including materials synthesis, equipment manufacturing, and mask making. Papers submitted to this journal should have a clear relevance to manufacturing practice, as opposed to device design and device characterization.

The Official Journal of the International Isotope Society The Journal of Labelled Compounds and Radiopharmaceuticals publishes original scientific manuscripts dealing with all aspects of research in labelled compound preparation and application. This includes areas such as analytical control, self radiolysis, quality control handling, storage, and tracer methods used in chemical, biochemical, biological, pharmacological, medical, genetic, agricultural and geochemical research. All radionuclides and enriched stable nuclides are included. The Journal of Labelled Compounds and Radiopharmaceuticals devotes particular attention to the following fields: radionuclide production; cyclotron targetry; neutron irradiation methodology; precursor preparation and production; labelling synthesis (chemical, biochemical, radiation, isotope exchange, etc); automation of nuclide production, precursor, preparation and synthesis; analysis (methods, limitations, etc. for both radioactive and stable nuclides, including new detection techniques); radiopharmaceuticals; PET chemistry; quality control (an essential requirement for valid data and especially for radiopharmaceuticals); stability and storage problems; handling of Curie and multiCurie amounts of radioactivity; etc. JLCR Award for Young Scientists: The Journal of Labelled Compounds and Radiopharmaceuticals, in cooperation with the International Isotope Society Conferences and the International Conferences on Radiopharmaceutical Sciences, sponsor every year four Awards to early excellence in radiopharmaceutical research and isotope labelling.

Lethaia is a leading international journal that emphasizes new developments and discoveries in palaeobiological and biostratigraphical research. A formal publication outlet for the International Palaeontological Association (IPA) and the International Commission on Stratigraphy (ICS), Lethaia publishes articles of international interest in the fields of palaeontology and stratigraphy. The articles concentrate on the development of new ideas and methods and descriptions of new features of wide significance rather than routine descriptions. Palaeobiology and ecostratigraphy are the core topics of the journal. In addition to articles, Lethaia contains shorter contributions in the form of discussions, presentations of current scientific activities, reviews and editorials. The International Journal of Agricultural Sustainability ( IJAS ) is a cross-disciplinary, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing the understanding of sustainability in agricultural and food systems. IJAS publishes both theoretical developments and critical appraisals of new evidence on what is not sustainable about current or past agricultural and food systems, as well as on transitions towards agricultural and rural sustainability at farm, community, regional, national and international levels, and through food supply chains.
