Areas of focus may include, but are not limited to: the political economy of journalism; global flows and contraflows of journalistic content and capital; journalism and social change; journalism and cultural identity; freedom of the press; journalism ethics; theories of journalism; journalism education and research; changing journalistic practices and norms. The role of journalism in mediating the emerging geopolitical relations between Africa and other regions of the Global South is of particular interest.

Journal of Molecular Recognition (JMR) publishes original research papers and reviews describing molecular recognition phenomena in biology. Molecular recognition refers to the non-covalent specific interaction between two or more biological molecules exemplified by receptor-ligand, antigen-antibody, DNA-protein, sugar-lectin and many other interactions. Biomolecular interactions are studied both at structural level in terms of atomic coordinates and at functional level in terms of kinetic and equilibrium binding constants. In recent years, these studies have been extended to multimacromolecular complexes and various molecular interaction networks as well as to cellular modules and organelles. The focus is on studies that aim to achieve a complete description of recognition sites in terms of structure, dynamics and activity. JMR provides a forum for research in the field of quantitative biomolecular interaction analysis using biosensors and other solution or surface-mediated experimental techniques including microcalorimetry, atomic force microscopy and molecular imprinting. Since the understanding of molecular recognition at a microscopic level can be aided by theoretical approaches, including electrostatic analysis, molecular dynamics and free energy simulations, these aspects will also be covered. Submission of manuscripts related to the application of other instrumental methods, such as HPLC, LC-MS, CE-MS, NMR/MRI, PET and crystallography employed in the elucidation of the biophysical basis of the pathways of molecular recognition between interacting biological molecules are encouraged. The design, synthesis and application of structural or topological mimics of naturally occurring molecules in the characterisation of molecular recognition processes represent a further aspect encompassed by JMR. These technologies in conjunction with site directed mutagenesis are providing new insights into the correlation between atomic structure and binding energy and pave the way to improved computer simulation, docking and molecular design of biologically active molecules. Challenges — Journal of Planetary Health
Challenges (ISSN 2078-1547) is a unique international scientific open access journal. It publishes scholarly content which is typically not publishable in traditional research journals, such as research proposals (funded and unfunded), research plans (e.g., a protocol for a systematic review, further research of a technology application, etc.), research or technology ideas, policy studies relating to science and scholarly research, open contests aiming at solving grand challenges, prize announcements, description of prototypes, calls for or description of international research collaborations or complementary support, etc. Manuscripts submitted to Challenges must comply with the highest scientific standards and will be peer-reviewed before a decision regarding possible publication in the journal is made. For funded research proposals, the peer-review process will be skipped and manuscripts published after copy-editing and with comments from the grant review attached, if available. This journal intends to provide clear, insightful, balanced contributions that review the most important, recently published clinical findings related to the diagnosis, treatment, management, and prevention of fungal infections.

High Temperature Material Processes: An International Quarterly of High-Technology Plasma Processes
This important new journal is an international publication devoted to original papers on fundamental and applied research and new developments in materials processing at high temperatures. Processes of interest include surface treatments, coatings production, welding, cutting, melting, re-melting and purification of metals, extractive metallurgy, process and secondary metallurgy, powder densification, ultra-fine powder production, high temperature synthesis and waste destruction. Insectes Sociaux
Insectes Sociaux (IS) is the journal of the International Union for the Study of Social Insects (IUSSI). It covers the various aspects of the biology and evolution of social insects and other presocial arthropods; these include ecology, ethology, morphology, population genetics, reproduction, communication, sociobiology, caste differentiation and social parasitism.
