University researchers, park and recreation administrators, and teachers from the United States and abroad provide new analyses of the instruction, theory, methods, and practices of environmental communication and education in peer-reviewed articles. Reviews of the most recent books, textbooks, videos, and other educational materials by experts in the field appear regularly. Biomedical and Environmental Sciences (BES) is an international English scientific periodical jointly established by Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) and the Coulston International Corporation (CIC), USA in 1988, which is published bimonthly and distributed both in China and abroad. The Journal of Information & Optimization Sciences is a refereed journal following two-referee system which is currently being published in one volume per year of six issues in the months of January, March, May, July, September and November along with the Online version.

The Centraalbureau voor Schimmelcultures (CBS) Fungal Biodiversiry Centre - an institute of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) and situated in Utrecht - maintains a world-renowned collection of living filamentous fungi, yeasts and bacteria. The Institute's research programs principally focus on the taxonomy and evolution of fungi as well as on functional aspects of fungal biology and ecology, increasingly making use of molecular and genomics approaches.
