Emerging Microbes & Infections: Animal & Environment (EMI: Animal & Environment) is a peer-reviewed open access journal publishing groundbreaking scientific research on emerging pathogenic organisms from animals or environment which have inter- and intra-species transmission potential with a specific focus on those influenced by the change of environment.
Building on the legacy of its sister Journal Emerging Microbes & Infections (EMI), which has become a global leading scientific journal in the field of human emerging infectious diseases, EMI: Animal & Environment expands the horizons of emerging infectious disease research to report novel findings on the growing importance of animal-based infections and environmental impact on both human and animal pathogens.
EMI: Animal & Environment encourages an interdiscplinary approach to investigating emerging organisms and infections in animals as well as any environmental factors associated with such infections.
The journal represents a platform for disseminating the fundamental scientific evidence for environmental protection and sustainable development. The journal will bring together excellent natural sciences, which underpin the understanding, development and application of technologies, to deliver a sustainable future. Dissemination of the fundamental science, methodologies, tools and techniques, in addition to the policy and governance landscape around the topic of sustainable future, are the focus of this publication. It brings together the need to consider the science and technology for environmental benefits including the development of both smarter, cleaner technologies for environmental protection, more efficient processing methods for resource use efficiency and critically, the environmental evidence for their uptake and success.
The journal was established initially by the name of Journal of Environment and Pollution in 1994, whose name was later changed to Nature Environment and Pollution Technology in the year 2002. The journal was established especially to promote the cause for environment and to cater the need for rapid dissemination of the vast scientific and technological data generated in this field. The Journal has evoked a highly encouraging response among the researchers, scientists and technocrats. It is currently subscribed by Universities, Colleges, Engineering and Technology Institutes, Research Organisations, Govt. Departments and Industries, besides a large number of individual subscribers. The journal currently has about 150 life-memberships. The Journal is supported by an International Advisory Board. All manuscripts are reviewed by experts. The Journal Publishes papers on the following aspects.* Monitoring, control and management of air, water, soil and noise pollution* Solid waste management* Industrial hygiene and occupational health* Biomedical aspects of pollution* Toxicological studies* Radioactive pollution and radiation effects* Wastewater treatment and recycling etc.* Environmental modelling* Biodiversity and conservation* Dynamics and behaviour of chemicals in environment* Natural resources, wildlife, forests and wetlands etc.* Environmental laws and legal aspects* Any other topic related to environment.
Blue-Green Systems brings together cutting edge research on sustainable, energy efficient and environmentally responsible water use in cities and their regions, including innovative approaches such as Sponge Cities, Low Impact Development, Nature Based Solutions and Water Sensitive Urban Design. It welcomes contributions from water engineers, economists, planners, hydrologists, ecologists, sociologists, architects, landscape designers, health workers, policymakers and anyone else engaged in solving the water challenges of a rapidly urbanizing planet. Work at city, watershed, basin and region level is all of interest.
Frontiers in Engineering and Built Environment is an academic, open access, peer-reviewed journal focused on diffusion of articles on all aspects of engineering and built environment. Published by Emerald on behalf of King Khalid University.
The journal Paddy and Water Environment aims to advance the science and technology of water and environment-related disciplines in paddy-farming. The scope extends broadly to paddy-farming related scientific and technological aspects of agricultural engineering such as irrigation and drainage, soil and water conservation, land and water resources management, paddy multi-functionality, agricultural policy, regional planning, bioenvironmental systems, and ecological conservation and restoration in paddy farming regions.Paddy and Water Environment is the official journal of the International Society of Paddy and Water Environment Engineering (PAWEES).
