The journal publishes articles concerning the bodies of the Solar System, i.e. planets and their satellites, asteroids, comets, meteoric substances, and cosmic dust; the physics and dynamics of these bodies, and methods and techniques of their exploration. The journal addresses the problems of physics of the planetary atmospheres and interiors, cosmochemistry, as well as planetary plasma environment and heliosphere, specifically those related to solar-planetary interactions. Special attention is given to extraterrestrial planets and the general problems of cosmogony involving origin and evolution of planetary systems, in particular the Solar System. Alongside with the original results of experimental and theoretical studies, the journal publishes regularly scientific reviews in the field of planetary exploration, notes on observational results, short reviews about the most interesting scientific meetings and articles in the Personalia section.

This international journal is devoted to the elucidation of properties and processes that occur at the boundaries of materials. The scope of the journal covers a broad range of topics in experimental and theoretical studies of surfaces and interfaces. Both the physical and chemical properties are covered. The journal also places emphasis on emerging areas of cross-disciplinary research where new phenomena occur due to the presence of a surface or an interface. Representative areas include surface and interface structures; their electronic, magnetic and optical properties; dynamics and energetics; chemical reactions at surfaces; phase transitions, reconstruction, roughening and melting; defects, nucleation and growth; and new surface and interface characterization techniques.

The Engineering Economist is a refereed journal published jointly by the Engineering Economy Division of the American Society of Engineering Education (ASEE) and the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE). Ecology and Society is an electronic, peer-reviewed, multi-disciplinary journal devoted to the rapid dissemination of current research. Manuscript submission, peer review, and publication are all handled on the Internet. Software developed for the journal automates all clerical steps during peer review, facilitates a double-blind peer review process, and allows authors and editors to follow the progress of peer review on the Internet. As articles are accepted, they are published in an "Issue in Progress." At six month intervals the Issue-in-Progress is declared a New Issue, and subscribers receive the Table of Contents of the issue via email. Our turn-around time (submission to publication) averages around 250 days.

The Journal of Chemical Physics publishes concise and definitive reports of significant research in methods and applications of chemical physics. Innovative research in traditional areas of chemical physics such as spectroscopy, kinetics, statistical mechanics, and quantum mechanics continue to be areas of interest to readers of JCP. In addition, newer areas such as polymers, materials, surfaces/interfaces, information theory, and systems of biological relevance are of increasing importance. Routine applications of chemical physics techniques may not be appropriate for JCP. The Theoretical Roman Archaeology Journal (TRAJ) provides a venue for innovative and interdisciplinary research in the field of Roman Archaeology. The journal promotes the use of theoretical approaches to the Roman past and facilitates fresh interpretations of datasets, rather than solely the presentation of archaeological data. Urban Political Ecology is an interdisciplinary journal that publishes state-of-the-art scholarship primarily rooted in the field of urban political ecology (UPE), along with related disciplines. The journal focuses on broad themes relating to urbanisation, including the role of politics in urban development, the mutual entanglement of structural inequalities in determining policies of urbanisation and the relationship with the natural environment, among others. Urban Political Ecology will publish three issues per volume – in April, August and December – including special issues on topical themes and novel areas of research.
