The scope of the Journal is very broad, covering all aspects of the regulatory system in the cardiovascular, renal and pulmonary systems with special emphasis on methodological aspects. Complex Psychiatry is a peer-reviewed, rapid communication journal that focuses on the complexity of psychiatry and human behavior considering a wide range of methods – including genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, pharmacogenomics, bioinformatics, molecular neuropharmacology, neural circuits, neural stem cells, and systems neurobiology in humans, and in animal and cellular model systems. The journal publishes original research articles and reviews that shed light onto the biology of psychiatric illness and complex behavioral traits. Submitted papers will be subject to an editorial review, and a decision whether to further peer review will be made in approximately 5 business days. Crime, Media, Culture is a peer reviewed, international journal providing a vehicle for scholars working at the intersections of criminological and cultural inquiry. It promotes a broad cross-disciplinary understanding of the relationship between crime, criminal justice, media and culture. The journal explores a range of media forms (including traditional media, new and alternative media, and surveillance technologies) and has a special focus on cultural criminology and its concerns with image, representation, meaning and style. While CMC embraces submissions across a range of research perspectives and methodological orientations, CMC encourages especially work that develops cultural, critical, and qualitative understandings of the crime, media, culture nexus.

Security is one of the defining features of our, or any, time. Collectively we seek security, value security, desire security, while at the same time often being troubled by the actions that are taken in the name of our security.  Critical Studies on Security is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the study of ‘security’ in and through social critique. The journal aims to publish theoretically informed scholarship, which engages with the practice and politics of security. We welcome articles from or across the range of disciplines, and from any of the critical social theoretical positions.

Cytoskeleton focuses on all aspects of cytoskeletal research, spanning genetic and cell biological observations, biochemical, biophysical and structural studies, mathematical modeling and theory. Der Islam was founded in 1910 by Carl Heinrich Becker, whose scholarly career was devoted to the establishment of Islamic Studies as a mature scientific field dedicated to historical and cultural research, independent of the then-prevailing field of Oriental philology.
