The Postgraduate Medical Journal is a peer reviewed journal published on behalf of the Fellowship of Postgraduate Medicine. The journal aims to support junior doctors and their teachers and contribute to the continuing professional development of all doctors by publishing papers on a wide range of topics relevant to the practicing clinician and teacher. Papers published in PMJ include those that focus on core competencies; that describe current practice and new developments in all branches of medicine; that describe relevance and impact of translational research on clinical practice; that provide background relevant to examinations; and papers on medical education and medical education research. The PMJ supports CPD by providing the opportunity for doctors to publish many types of articles including original clinical research; reviews; quality improvement reports; editorials, and correspondence on clinical matters.

Romani Studies is an international, interdisciplinary journal publishing modern scholarship in all branches of Romani/Gypsy studies. Founded in 1888, the Journal of the Gypsy Lore Society was published in four series up to 1982. In 2000, the journal became Romani Studies. Under the sponsorship of the Gypsy Lore Society (formerly Gypsy Lore Society, North American Chapter), Romani Studies features articles on the cultures of groups traditionally known as Gypsies as well as Travellers and other peripatetic groups. These groups include, among others, those referring to themselves as Rom, Roma, Romanichels, Sinti and Travellers. The journal publishes articles in history, anthropology, sociology, linguistics, art, literature, folklore and music, as well as reviews of books and audiovisual materials.

Scandinavian Journal of History presents articles on Scandinavian history and review essays surveying themes in recent Scandinavian historical research.It concentrates on perspectives of national historical particularities and important long-term and short-term developments. The editorial policy gives particular priority to Scandinavian topics and to efforts of placing Scandinavian developments into a larger context. Studies explicitly comparing Scandinavian processes and phenomena to those in other parts of the world are therefore regarded as particularly important. Scandinavian Journal of Hospitality and Tourism aims at initiating and stimulating hospitality and tourism-related discussions among the academic community, managers, and decision makers both in the private and public sectors.The journal covers all types of empirical and conceptual research of issues relevant to Scandinavia, North Sea and Baltic regions, and associated developments in the regional hospitality and tourism industry. The Journal of Continuing Higher Education strives to support continuing higher education by serving as a forum for the reporting and exchange of information based on research, observations, and the experience relevant to the field. Scope and subject areas The Journal of Physiology publishes full-length research papers and Rapid Reports of particularly important work that merits accelerated publication. Techniques for Physiology, introduced in 2008, are short papers aimed at disseminating new techniques for physiological research. Articles solicited by the Editorial Board include Perspectives, Symposium Reports and Topical Reviews, which highlight areas of special physiological interest, and Classical Perspectives describing how classic papers published in The Journal have influenced current research. Child and Adolescent Social Work Journal features original articles that focus on clinical social work practice with children, adolescents, and their families. The journal addresses current issues in the field of social work drawn from theory, direct practice, research, and social policy, as well as focuses on problems affecting specific populations in special settings.

The journal publishes Case Reports and Clinical Reviews on all aspects of the digestive tract, liver, biliary tract, and pancreas. Critical Case Reports that show originality or have educational implications for diagnosis and treatment are especially encouraged for submission. Clinics and Practice (ISSN 2039-7283) is an open access journal that provides an advanced forum for studies related to clinical medicine. It publishes original articles, reviews, clinical reports, and communications, as well as Special Issues on particular subjects. Our journal welcomes contributions focusing on patients, procedures, and treatments with a particular emphasis on the clinical aspects. We encourage scientists to publish their results in as much detail as possible. Therefore, the journal has no restriction on the maximum length of the papers.

Invertebrate Survival Journal (ISJ) is an international and open access journal devoted to prompt and innovative studies on the basic defense mechanisms in invertebrates, in particular with a view to identifying biotechnologies able to act against derived diseases and related economic damage.Contributions will be mainly in the form of Letters to the Editor, Visions and Perspectives, Short Communications, Technical Reports, Research Reports, Review, Minireview and Reports of Meetings.
