The scope of the International Journal of Environmental Analytical Chemistry comprises such subjects as original research on all aspects of analytical work related to environmental problems such as analysis of organic, inorganic and radioactive pollutants in air, water, sediments and biota; and determination of harmful substances, including analytical methods for the investigation of chemical or metabolic breakdown patterns in the environment and in biological samples.The journal also covers the development of new analytical methods or improvement of existing ones useful for the control and investigation of pollutants or trace amounts of naturally occurring active chemicals in all environmental compartments. Development, modification and automation of instruments and techniques with potential in environment sciences are also part of the journal.Case studies are also considered, particularly for areas where information is scarce or lacking, providing that reported data is significant and representative, either spatially or temporally, and quality assured. Science of the Total Environment is an international journal for publication of original research on the total environment, which includes the atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, lithosphere, and anthroposphere.The total environment is characterized where these five spheres overlap. Studies that focus on at least two or three of these will be given primary consideration. Papers reporting results from only one sphere will not be considered. Field studies are given priority over laboratory studies. The total environment is studied when data are collected and described from these five spheres. 14/31 (Hospitality, Leisure, Sport & Tourism) Sport, Education and Society is an international journal which provides a focal point for the publication of social science research on pedagogy, policy and the body in society and the wide range of associated social, cultural, political and ethical issues in physical activity, sport and health. The journal will concentrate both on the forms, contents and contexts of physical education, sport and health education found in schools, colleges and other sites of formal education, and on the pedagogies of play, callisthenics, gymnastics, sport and leisure found in familial contexts, various sports clubs, the leisure industry, private fitness and health studios, dance schools and rehabilitation centres. It will also consider various media (e.g., TV, film, web sites) as forms of pedagogy and report their impact on understandings of the body in society. The Journal of Community Genetics is an international forum for research in the ever-expanding field of community genetics, the art and science of applying medical genetics to human communities for the benefit of their individuals.
