The aim of Pediatric Transplantation is to publish original articles of the highest quality on clinical experience and basic research in transplantation of tissues and solid organs in infants, children and adolescents. The journal seeks to disseminate the latest information widely to all individuals involved in kidney, liver, heart, lung, intestine and stem cell (bone-marrow) transplantation. In addition, the journal publishes focused reviews on topics relevant to pediatric transplantation as well as timely editorial comment on controversial issues. The scope of the journal includes involving clinical research, case-reports delineating universal clinical consequences and basic transplant immunobiology related to pediatric transplantation. Each issue contains Pediatric Transplant Grand Rounds which comprise reports from institutions worldwide aimed at sharing pertinent clinical information with those caring for pediatric transplant recipients. The publication of a journal devoted to transplantation in infants, children and adolescents is extremely important because of the increasing clinical use of tissue and organ transplantation to resolve catastrophic circumstances not amenable to other therapeutic approaches. Russian Journal of Communication (RJC) is an international peer-reviewed academic publication devoted to studies of communication in, with, and about Russia and Russian-speaking communities around the world. RJC welcomes both humanistic and social scientific scholarly approaches to communication, which is broadly construed to include mediated information as well as face-to-face interactions. RJC seeks papers and book reviews on topics including philosophy of communication, traditional and new media, film, literature, rhetoric, journalism, information-communication technologies, cultural practices, organizational and group dynamics, interpersonal communication, communication in instructional contexts, advertising, public relations, political campaigns, legal proceedings, environmental and health matters, and communication policy. RJC is open to all methodological perspectives and welcomes theoretical, empirical, critical, comparative, historical, and interdisciplinary studies.

RJC follows a double-blind peer review process to maintain its high standard of scholarship.  All research materials published in RJC have undergone rigorous evaluation, based on initial editor screening and review by at least two anonymous referees. Aims & Scope: Translation of mRNA into protein is a central step in the gene expression pathway. It is tightly controlled to provide cells with a rapid, robust and highly specific means to respond to changes in its microenvironment. Pathological regulation of translation occurs in many diseases including diabetes, heart failure and cancer. Agents to correct aberrant translation are being actively developed.

Translation is planned as a unique peer-reviewed, high-profile journal with a broad international audience. The launch of this journal reflects the tremendous progress in the field of translation over the past decade.

Translation will cover two major areas:

• Biochemistry and basic cell biology - structure, function and regulation of the translational apparatus in prokaryotic and eukaryotic cells;

World Development Perspectives is a multi-disciplinary journal of international development. Cognitive Neuropsychology aims to promote the investigation of human cognition that is based on neuropsychological methods including brain pathology, recording, stimulation or imaging. The research can involve brain-lesioned or neurologically-intact adults, children or non-human animals as long as it makes an explicit contribution to our understanding of normal human cognitive processes and representations. Cognition is understood broadly to include the domains of perception, attention, planning, language, thinking, memory and action. The research may, additionally, contribute to issues regarding clinical populations and the neurobiology of cognition. International Biodeterioration and Biodegradation publishes original research papers and reviews on the biological causes of deterioration or degradation.– The causes may be macro– or microbiological, whose origins may be aerial, aquatic, or terrestrial.– The effects may include corrosion, fouling, rotting, decay, infection, disfigurement, toxification, weakening or processes that liquefy, detoxify, or mineralize.– The materials affected may include natural, synthetic or refined materials [such as metals, hydrocarbons and oils, foodstuffs and beverages, pharmaceuticals, cellulose and wood, plastics and polymers, fibres, paper, leather, waste materials or any other material of commercial importance]; and structures or systems [such as buildings, works of art, processing equipment, etc.] as well as hazardous wastes, and includes environmental and occupational health aspects resulting from the activities of the biological agents described above.Papers on all aspects of cause, mode of action, treatment, protection and prevention, analysis and testing, detoxification, upgrading, commercial implications, biocides and substitutes and related areas are welcome.
