The Journal of Transition Metal Complexes is a scholarly open access, peer-reviewed, and fully refereed journal. It presents original papers, reviews, and communications on all aspects of theoretical and experimental transition metal complex chemistry. Original manuscripts are expected to provide a clear contribution to advances in the chemistry of complexes and applications. Reviews are acceptable in all areas of metal complex chemistry and may focus on the metal, ligand or applications. Reviews concerning coordination chemistry should be developed fully from the basics, carefully relating the topic to the field, and from the literature with a critical view of recent work.

The goal of the journal is to improve the understanding of metal complex chemistry issues through the integration of evolutionary principles and perspectives. Articles can specifically consider evolutionary patterns or processes, or simply incorporate an evolutionary perspective into the analysis of a coordination chemistry topic. The journal welcomes submissions over a broad range of disciplines, including mathematical modeling, computer simulation, and comparative studies. The materials published in the Journal of Transition Metal Complexes consider those working in related disciplines, such as chemical engineering, chemical analysis, molecular catalysis, biology, medicine, agriculture, materials science, and energetics.

Non-profit Journal: MIC is operated as a non-profit journal and the journal is to a large extent based on voluntary contributions from the editors and reviewers. Any income generated by the journal from author contributions and sponsors are only meant to cover the costs associated with running the journal. From 2009 the MIC articles are available for free download on the Internet, and MIC loses the income source from subscriptions. To compensate for this loss of income, MIC currently requires an author contribution of NOK 1000 per published article. Each author will receive a complimentary issue of the printed edition of MIC where the article appears. The publication fee will be adjusted annually to balance out the costs of running the journal.Review: Each submitted article will initially be reviewed by the editor and/or the editorial secretary. If the article passes the initial review, it will be reviewed in a second step by the closest discipline editor and two internationally recognised experts in the field. All reviews in MIC are anonymous and the journal strives to avoid any conflict of interest in the review process.

The aim of Service-Oriented Computing & Applications is to publish original and high quality research results on the service-oriented computing (SOC) paradigm, models and technologies that have significant contributions to the advancement of service oriented systems and their applications. Service-oriented computing has emerged as a major research topic in the past few years. In recent years the Arabian peninsula has emerged as one of the major new frontiers of archaeological research in the Old World. Arabian Archaeology and Epigraphy is a forum for the publication of studies in the archaeology, epigraphy, numismatics, and early history of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. Both original articles and short communications in English, French, and German are published, ranging in time from prehistory to the Islamic era. In addition, studies touching on different parts of the region and their relations with neighbouring areas such as Africa, the Levant, Mesopotamia, Iran, and the Indus Valley are invited. Studies pertaining more directly to these areas, however, will only be considered if the link to the Arabian peninsula is clear and of central importance. Contributions concerned with inscriptions from the Arabian peninsula, whether recorded in the field or housed in public and private collections around the world, will also be welcomed. Review articles will appear periodically. Arabian Archaeology and Epigraphy is essential reading for all archaeologists, historians, philologists, and numismatists concerned with the ancient Near East. It is of interest to students of classical antiquity, Egyptology, and south Asian archaeology. Through its publications and its sponsorship of technical conferences, the Society provides a world forum for the active consideration of solar energy.Solar Energy welcomes manuscripts presenting information not previously published in journals on any aspect of solar energy research, development, application, measurement or policy. The term "solar energy" in this context includes the indirect uses such as wind energy and biomass. Because of the international character of Solar Energy, articles that deal solely with the solar radiation or wind data base of a specific country are not normally considered suitable for Solar Energy. Submitted manuscripts may take the form of reports of original studies or reviews of significant prior work in a given area. All manuscripts are subject to reviews to assure accuracy, clarity, and long-term value.Manuscripts of general interest not being suitable for Solar Energy should be submitted to Refocus, which publishes magazine-style feature articles concerning all aspects of renewable energy. Papers on veterinary parasitology from wildlife species are acceptable, but only if they relate to the practice of veterinary medicine. Studies on vector-borne bacterial and viral agents are suitable, but only if the paper deals with vector transmission of these organisms to domesticated animals.

Studies dealing with parasite control by means of natural products, both in vivo and in vitro, are more suited for one of the many journals that now specialize in papers of this type. However, due to the regional nature of much of this research, submissions may be considered based upon a case being made by the author(s) to the Editor.

Circumstances relating to animal experimentation must meet the International Guiding Principles for Biomedical Research Involving Animals as issued by the Council for International Organizations of Medical Sciences (obtainable from: Executive Secretary C.I.O.M.S., c/o W.H.O., Via Appia, CH-1211 Geneva 27, Switzerland).
