Journal Guide

The EI Magazine publishes articles written by authors from industry, research institutes and academia. The articles are more practical in content than the papers published in the Transactions. Usually three articles are published in each issue. The articles deal with dielectric materials, processes and new developments applied to industry products. Also the EI Magazine is used to promote upcoming conferences and solicits papers for the conferences. In addition, reports on past conferences are given in many issues. Book reviews and news items are included. An editorial is written by both the EIC and the President of DEIS in alternate issues. Advertising of insulation products appears in many issues.

The scope covers all aspects of the theory and application of plasma science. Integrated Ferroelectrics provides an international, interdisciplinary forum for electronic engineers and physicists as well as process and systems engineers, ceramicists, and chemists who are involved in research, design, development, manufacturing and utilization of integrated ferroelectric devices. Such devices unite ferroelectric films and semiconductor integrated circuit chips. The result is a new family of electronic devices, which combine the unique nonvolatile memory, pyroelectric, piezoelectric, photorefractive, radiation-hard, acoustic and/or dielectric properties of ferroelectric materials with the dynamic memory, logic and/or amplification properties and miniaturization and low-cost advantages of semiconductor i.c. technology.

Theoretical Ecology publishes innovative research in theoretical ecology, including ecophysiology, population ecology, behavioral ecology, evolutionary ecology, ecosystem ecology, community ecology, and ecosystem and landscape ecology. The editors emphasize work that bridges disciplinary boundaries, such as the intersection between quantitative social sciences and ecology, or physical influences on ecological processes.The contents include regular articles, review papers, and rapid communications. For over fifty years The British Journal for the Philosophy of Science has published the best international work in the philosophy of science under a distinguished list of editors including A. C. Information networking is an enabling technology with the potential to integrate and transform information provision, communication and learning. The New Review of Information Networking, published biannually, provides an expert source on the needs and behaviour of the network user; the role of networks in teaching, learning, research and scholarly communication; the implications of networks for library and information services; the development of campus and other information strategies; the role of information publishers on the networks; policies for funding and charging for network and information services; and standards and protocols for network applications. Human Movement Science provides a forum for presenting, and bringing together, psychological, neurophysiological and biomechanical/biophysical research on human movement. Animal studies, insofar as their significance to human movement is made clear, are equally acceptable. The nature of the research to be reported may vary from fundamental studies of motor control and learning, including the perceptual support of movement, to more applied studies in the fields of, for example, sport, dance and rehabilitation, with the proviso that also the latter studies have a distinct theoretical bearing.Human Movement Science contains: (a) reports of empirical work on human movement; (b) theoretical (overview) articles on human movement, including its modelling; (c) letters to the editor containing a critical commentary on a published paper.
