The journal, published bimonthly, provides English translations of selected new original Russian papers on the theoretical aspects of numerical analysis and the application of mathematical methods to simulation and modelling. The editorial board, consisting of the most prominent Russian scientists in numerical analysis and mathematical modelling, select papers on the basis of their high scientific standard, innovative approach and topical interest.Papers are published in the following areas:* numerical analysis* numerical linear algebra* finite element methods for PDEs* iterative methods* Monte-Carlo methods* mathematical modelling and numerical simulation in geophysical hydrodynamics, immunology and medicine, fluid mechanics and electrodynamics, geosciences.

Selecta Mathematica, New Series  is a peer-reviewed journal addressed to a wide mathematical audience. It accepts well-written high quality papers in all areas of pure mathematics, and selected areas of applied mathematics. The journal especially encourages submission of papers which have the potential of opening new perspectives.

AI Communications is a journal on Artificial Intelligence (AI) which has a close relationship to ECCAI (the European Coordinating Committee for Artificial Intelligence). The Journal of Molecular Diagnostics, the official publication of the Association for Molecular Pathology (AMP), co-published by the American Society for Investigative Pathology (ASIP), seeks to publish high quality original papers on scientific advances in the translation and validation of molecular discoveries in medicine into the clinical diagnostic setting, and the description and application of technological advances in the field of molecular diagnostic medicine. Third World Thematics ( TWT ) is a sister publication of the established title, Third World Quarterly.  TWT is an online journal devoted to the publication of special issues.

TWT  focuses on the political economy, development and cultures of those parts of the world that have experienced the most political, social and economic upheaval, and which have faced the greatest challenges of the postcolonial world under globalisations: poverty, displacement and diaspora, environmental degradation, human and civil rights abuses, war, hunger and disease.

Estudios Gerenciales is the Ibero-American journal of management and economics focused primarily on the thematic areas of organizations, organizational management, entrepreneurship, innovation, marketing, accountancy, finance, public administration, econometrics, economic development, industrial organization, international trade, economic policy and regional economy.
Its main objective is the dissemination of research related to the above topic areas that generate tools for the study of Ibero-American community and its current economic and administrative context. Climate of the Past (CP) is an international scientific journal dedicated to the publication and discussion of research articles, short communications and review papers on the climate history of the Earth.The main subject areas are:* reconstructions of past climate based on instrumental and historical data as well as proxy data from marine and terrestrial (including ice) archives; development and validation of new proxies, improvements of the precision and accuracy of proxy data;* theoretical and empirical studies of processes in and feedback mechanisms between all climate system components in relation to past climate change on all space and time scales; * simulation of past climate and model-based interpretation of palaeo climate data for a better understanding of present and future climate variability and climate change.Climate of the Past has an innovative two-stage publication process which involves a scientific discussion forum and exploits the full potential of the Internet to:* foster scientific discussion;* enhance the effectiveness and transparency of scientific quality assurance;* enable rapid publication;* make scientific publications freely accessible.In the first stage, papers that pass a rapid access-review by one of the editors are immediately published on the Climate of the Past Discussions (CPD) website. In the second stage, the peer-review process is completed and, if accepted, the final revised papers are published in CP. The role of computer orientated techniques in analysis and design of geotechnical structures has been firmly established in recent years. New techniques are being rapidly developed and applied in the fields of offshore, nuclear, dam, mining and transportation engineering. Using these techniques it is now possible to check the validity of various empirical rules that have become prevalent in geotechnical engineering practice.Computers and Geotechnics provides an up-to-date reference to the engineers and researchers engaged in computer aided analysis, design and research in geotechnical engineering. The journal is intended for an expeditious dissemination of new developments in the broad areas of soil and rock mechanics. Static, cyclic and transient loading situations are relevant. Contributions on constitutive models of geomaterials (soils, rocks, concrete, masonry, ceramics, etc.), computer analyses of physical models and adequately monitored prototype structures and application of computer techniques to design are especially welcome.
