Russian Journal of Electrochemistry (Elektrokhimiya) was founded in 1965 by Academician A.N. Frumkin, an outstanding physical chemist. The journal covers all aspects of research in modern electrochemistry.

Food Research International provides a forum for the rapid dissemination of significant novel and high impact research in food science, technology, engineering and nutrition. The journal only publishes novel, high quality and high impact review papers, original research papers, short communications and letters to the editors, in the various disciplines encompassing the science and technology of food. The Social Science Journal is the official journal of the Western Social Science Association. The principal purpose of the journal is to publish scholarly work in the social sciences defined in the classical sense, that is in the social sciences, the humanities, and the natural sciences. The research that is published may take a theoretical or speculative model as well as statistical and mathematical. Contributions are welcome from all fields which have relevant and insightful comments to make about the social sciences.The journal also includes a Research Note section which is devoted to supporting scholarly research that is in progress. International Advances in Economic Research (IAER) was established to promote the dissemination of economic and financial research within the international community. Founded in 1995 by the International Atlantic Economic Society, a need was identified to provide the latest research on today's economic policies and tomorrow's economic and financial conditions. Economists can no longer be concerned with professional developments only in their home country. Research by scholars in one country can easily have implications for other countries, yet often vital results are not shared. Economic restructuring in a shrinking world demands close analysis and careful interpretation. In IAER, authors from around the globe look at these issues, coming together in the cross-fertilization of multinational ideas. The journal provides economists, financial specialists, and scholars in related disciplines with much-needed opportunities to share their insights with worldwide colleagues. Policy-oriented, empirical, and theoretical research papers in all economic and financial areas are welcome, without regard to methodological preferences or school of thought. All manuscripts are submitted to a double-blind, peer review process.In addition to formal publication of full-length articles, IAER provides an opportunity for less formal communication through its Research Notes section. A small point may not be worthy of a full-length, formal paper but is important enough to warrant dissemination to other researchers. Research in progress may be of interest to other scholars in the field. A research approach ending in negative results needs to be shared to save others similar pitfalls. Research Notes has been established to facilitate this form of communication. The section provides a means by which short manuscripts of less than 200 words can quickly appear in IAER. Applied Mobilities publishes theoretically informed, applied research and practice-orientated perspectives in mobilities. It focuses on the planning, design, technologies and social and cultural applications of mobilities. Through an emphasis on social theory and planning practice it also seeks to develop a greater understanding of the transition of mobility systems towards sustainable practices and the consequences of diverse mobilities on societies. 

It publishes original research articles, practice based commentaries and reviews.

Applied Mobilities publishes articles of international scope that meets one or more of the following areas of publication:
- Interdisciplinary research in planning, design, technology and culture relating to mobilities.
- Theory driven applied research emphasizing the social, cultural, economic and environmental aspects of mobilities.
- Development of the interdisciplinarity of mobilities research by bridging social science, art and practice.  

Commentaries
This section of Applied Mobilities invites practitioners and/or scholars to develop to introduce and reflect upon new themes and debates that are relevant to mobilities thinking, research and practice. Such innovative perspectives aim to increase the impact of research on the re-thinking of mobilities and help to develop political and societal strategies to understand the social, ecological and economic consequences of diverse mobilities on societies.

Peer Review Statement
All submissions will be subject to double-blind peer review by up to three referees.

Communication Research and Practice aims to publish research that contributes to international scholarship and practice in the broadly defined field of communication. The journal aims to be broadly inclusive and interdisciplinary, with a particular interest in such fields as: digital media and internet studies; organisational and interpersonal communication; journalism, public relations and advertising; intercultural communication; international communication; and political communication. The journal will be open to contributions from across humanities and social sciences, and to contributions relating to communications practice (e.g. public relations, journalism, visual communication, digital media practice), and applications of communication theory (e.g. promotional campaigns, organisational and industry analyses, public policy deliberations).

The journal is supported by the Australian and New Zealand Communication Association (ANZCA). It derives its primary intellectual identity from the contribution of scholars in Australia, Aotearoa New Zealand, and the Asia-Pacific region, while also publishing work of interest to international readers, and research by international scholars that ensures issues and concerns relevant to this region are examined in international contexts. Communication Research and Practice will publish original empirical studies and essays commenting on current issues relevant to the region, as well as papers that advance theoretical and conceptual development in the communication field. It is particularly interested in supporting original and innovative work by early career researchers in this region.

Articles should be 6,000-8,000 words in length, and must not exceed 9,000 words including tables, references, captions, footnotes and endnotes. Book reviews, notes and commentaries may be shorter in length.

British Politics offers the only forum explicitly designed to promote research in British political studies, and seeks to provide a counterweight to the growing fragmentation of this field during recent years. To this end, the journal aims to promote a more holistic understanding of British politics by encouraging a closer integration between theoretical and empirical research, between historical and contemporary analyses, and by fostering a conception of British politics as a broad and multi-disciplinary field of study. This incorporates a range of sub-fields, including psephology, policy analysis, regional studies, comparative politics, institutional analysis, political theory, political economy, historical analysis, cultural studies and social policy.While recognising the validity and the importance of research into specific aspects of British politics, the journal takes it to be a guiding principle that such research is more useful, and indeed meaningful, if it is related to the field of British politics in a broader and fuller sense.The scope of the journal will therefore be broad, incorporating a range of research papers and review articles from all theoretical perspectives, and on all aspects of British politics, including policy developments, institutional change and political behaviour. Lighting Research & Technology is the leading international peer reviewed journal that publishes the highest quality original research on the subject of light and lighting and is published in association with The Society of Light and Lighting, which is part of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers.Lighting Research & Technology publishes papers by authors from around the world on all aspects of the subject of light and lighting. These range from the human response to light to all aspects of the science of light generation, light control and measurement. Research in Human Development is moving away from an isolated emphasis on particular stages ranging from infancy to later adulthood and from a reduction of multiple levels of organization to variables or processes associated with one discipline. Accordingly, Research in Human Development (RHD) seeks to promote a shift away from research focused on development at particular stages (early childhood, adolescence, middle age, older adulthood) and from separate fields of inquiry to a more inclusive, integrative, and interdisciplinary approach to the study of human development across the entire life span. The integration of the person and his or her context across life is the focus of the scholarship promoted by this journal; as such, multilevel, multivariate, and integrative longitudinal study of person-context relations is emphasized in these publications. Specifically, an interdisciplinary focus that integratively incorporates biological, psychological, sociological, anthropological, economic, and historical perspectives is stressed in the pages of RHD. Teachers and Teaching: theory and practice provides an international focal point for the publication of research on teachers and teaching, in particular on teacher thinking. Transportation Research Part D: Transport and Environment publishes original research on the environmental impacts of transportation, policy responses to those impacts, and their implications for the design, planning, and management of transportation systems. It covers all aspects of the interaction between transportation and the environment. For example, it includes papers ranging in their coverage from the local and immediate effects of transportation networks on the environments of specific geographical areas, to the widest global implications of natural resource depletion and atmospheric pollution.The journal invites submissions of research papers on all modes of transportation, including maritime and air transportation as well as land transportation, and considers their impacts on the environment in the broad sense. Papers dealing with both mobile aspects and transportation infrastructure are considered. The emphasis of the journal is on empirical findings and policy responses of a regulatory, planning, technical or fiscal nature. Articles are primarily policy-driven and should be relevant and applied as well as being accessible to readers from a wide range of disciplines. There are no disciplinary boundaries to work considered and submissions of an interdisciplinary nature are welcomed. Science Journal for Kids is a nonprofit organization incorporated in Texas. It has a 501(c)(3) status from the Internal Revenue Service. All donations to Science Journal for Kids are tax-exempt.

Science Journal for Kids aims to make scientific research discoveries more accessible to the general audience and particularly to children. We do that by digitally publishing kid-friendly adaptations of scientific papers. In addition, Science Journal for Kids will prepare and offer teacher’s aids and resources to enable integration of the scientific literature in a classroom curriculum.
 
Developing Educational Materials for Children
Science Journal for Kids’s primary activity will be selecting published science articles for children and adapting them for children’s education. The materials will be available on the Science Journal for Kids website for teachers, parents, students, and the general public. The steps for developing these materials are outlined below:
 

• Selecting the journal articles. The selected articles must be environmental science research published in peer-reviewed open-access high-impact science journal. The articles should be recent (published within the past year) and cover a variety or topics: pollution, endangered species conservation, climate change etc.
• Text adaptation. The articles are then rewritten in in children-friendly language using common vocabulary, real-world examples and comparisons and funny anecdotes where appropriate.
• Final approval and edits. The draft text is then edited and approved by the scientists who published the original research paper. The finalized text is then edited for aesthetics and readability by creating an appealing layout and adding illustrations.

 
Developing Supplemental Materials for Teachers
Science Journal for Kids will collaborate with experienced science teachers to create teacher’s materials including, but limited to, supplementary teaching aids, slide show presentations, hands-on lab activities, quizzes, and worksheets to accompany each paper. These materials would allow teachers to more easily incorporate the journal articles into a classroom curriculum.
 
Outreach and Distribution
In order to further achieve its goals, Science Journal for Kids will conduct outreach to science teachers and other science and education organizations throughout the United States. The organization will maintain a customer database of teachers interested in incorporating the materials into their classrooms and disseminate the materials as they are developed. The materials will also be available to the general public on the website.
