The Brazilian Journal of Microbiology is an international peer reviewed journal that covers a wide-range of research on fundamental and applied aspects of microbiology.

The journal considers for publication original research articles, short communications, reviews, and letters to the editor, that may be submitted to the following sections:  Biotechnology and Industrial Microbiology, Food Microbiology, Bacterial and Fungal Pathogenesis, Clinical Microbiology, Environmental Microbiology, Veterinary Microbiology, Fungal and Bacterial Physiology, Bacterial, Fungal and Virus Molecular Biology, Education in Microbiology. The journal is the official publication of the Brazilian Society of Microbiology and currently publishes 4 issues per year.

There are no publications costs to authors, except when they wish to make their article open access (see "Open Choice" in the instructions for authors)

General informationOceanological and Hydrobiological Studies is an international journal published by the Institute of Oceanography, University of Gdansk in Poland. The journal publishes original research articles, short communications, reviews and book reviews. The journal has 4 issues per year and contains papers on all aspects of the marine environment and hydrobiology. All manuscripts are reviewed by editors and independent experts. The Indo-Iranian Journal, founded in 1957, focuses on the ancient and medieval languages and cultures of South Asia and of pre-islamic Iran. It publishes articles on Indo-Iranian languages (linguistics and literatures), such as Sanskrit, Avestan, Middle Iranian and Middle & New Indo-Aryan. It publishes specialized research on ancient Iranian religion and the Indian religions, such as the Veda, Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism (including Tibetan). The journal welcomes epigraphical studies as well as general contributions to the understanding of the (pre-modern) history and culture of South Asia. Illustrations are accepted. A substantial part of Indo-Iranian Journal is reserved for reviews of new research. Twice a year it contains a detailed bibliography of all publications received. The Journal predominantly publishes articles in English and occasionaly in French and German.

The Internal Medicine Journal, formerly known as the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Medicine, is the official journal of the Adult Medicine Division of The Royal Australasian College of Physicians (RACP). Its purpose is to publish high-quality internationally competitive peer-reviewed original medical research, both laboratory and clinical, relating to the study and research of human disease. Papers will be considered from all areas of medical practice and science. The Journal also has a major role in continuing medical education and publishes review articles relevant to physician education. Except where otherwise stated, articles are peer reviewed.

Metabarcoding and Metagenomics (MBMG) is an innovative open access online journal which publishes papers on metabarcoding and metagenomics from both basic and applied aspects. The journal welcomes submissions documenting all types of outcomes throughout the research cycle: data, models, methods, workflows, software, perspectives, opinions, and conventional research articles. The journal will consider manuscripts for publication related (but not limited) to the following topics: Environmental MBMG, Microbial MBMG, Applied MBMG (biomonitoring, quarantine, environmental assessment, nature conservation, eDNA, species invasions and others), molecular ecology, DNA-based species delimitation and identification, and other emerging fields related to MBMG. Submissions of bioinformatic approaches to MBMG (algorithms, software) are also encouraged.

MBMG is published on the ARPHA journal publishing platform, which is the first workflow ever to support the full life cycle of a manuscript, from writing through submission, peer review, publication and dissemination within a single online collaborative platform.

The Journal publishes original research papers, review articles and short communications on studies examining the interactions between living organisms and factors of the natural and artificial atmospheric environment. Living organisms extend from single cell organisms, to plants and animals, including humans. The atmospheric environment includes climate and weather, electromagnetic radiation, and chemical and biological pollutants. The journal embraces basic and applied research and practical aspects such as living conditions, agriculture, forestry, and health. The journal is published for the International Society of Biometeorology, and most membership categories include a subscription to the Journal.

The International Journal of Language & Communication Disorders (IJLCD) is the official journal of the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists. The Journal welcomes submissions on all aspects of speech, language, communication disorders and speech and language therapy. It provides a forum for the exchange of information and discussion of issues of clinical or theoretical relevance in the above areas. The Journal, established in 1966, publishes a range of articles, including research reports, reviews, discussions and clinical fora, as well as editorials or commentaries commissioned by the editors. Research reports from both quantitative and qualitative frameworks are encouraged but must have appropriate and clear methodology and thoroughly analysed and interpreted results.

The Journal for the Study of the Historical Jesus provides an international forum for the academic discussion of Jesus within the context of first-century Palestine. The journal is accessible to all who are interested in how this complex topic has been addressed in the past and how it is approached today. The journal investigates the social, cultural and historical context in which Jesus lived, discusses methodological issues surrounding the reconstruction of the historical Jesus, examines the history of research on Jesus and explores how the life of Jesus has been portrayed in the arts and other media. The Journal for the Study of the Historical Jesus presents articles and book reviews discussing the latest developments in academic research in order to shed new light on Jesus and his world.

Journal of Aesthetics and Phenomenology aims to encourage and promote research in aesthetics that draws inspiration from the phenomenological tradition as broadly understood, where “phenomenology” is inclusive of, but goes beyond the limits of, intellectual practices associated with the tradition and its well-known representative thinkers.  Unique in the English speaking world, the journal welcomes scholarly articles written in a phenomenological vein as well as analyses of aesthetic phenomena by researchers working on phenomenology within analytic philosophy.

The Journal of Computer and System Sciences International is the leading scientific journal of the Russian Academy of Sciences in all areas of control theory and systems. The journal features papers on the theory and methods of control as well as papers devoted to the study, design, modeling, development, and application of new control systems. The Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry is an established cell biology journal that includes primary research articles, timely reviews, editorials and perspectives on the structure and function of cells, tissues and organs. This includes research into mechanisms of development, differentiation, and disease. High priority is given to submissions where imaging techniques are complemented by current genetic, molecular, and biochemical approaches. The Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry welcomes concise review articles, especially those that address key issues in methodology. The journal continues to publish new developments in microscopy and imaging.
