The Journal of Great Lakes Research is multidisciplinary in its coverage, publishing manuscripts on a wide range of theoretical and applied topics in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, and geology of the large lakes of the world and their watersheds. We also welcome contributions on saline lakes. Research on estuarine waters may be considered if the results have application to large lakes. Large lakes generally are considered as those lakes which have a mean surface area of >500 km2 (see Herdendorf, C.E. 1982. Large lakes of the world. J. Great Lakes Res. 8:379-412, for examples), although smaller lakes may be considered, including very deep lakes. Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry is published bimonthly in English by the Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry. JIEC brings together multidisciplinary interests in one journal and is to disseminate information on all aspects of research and development in industrial and engineering chemistry. Contributions in the form of research articles, short communications, comments and reviews are considered for publication. Studies that utilize experimental approaches to clarify the roles of anthropogenic and natural causes of changes in marine ecosystems are especially welcome, as are those studies that represent new developments of a theoretical or conceptual aspect of marine science. All papers published in this journal are reviewed by qualified peers prior to acceptance and publication. Examples of topics considered to be appropriate for the journal include, but are not limited to, the following:

– The extent, persistence, and consequences of change and the recovery from such change in natural marine systems
– The biochemical, physiological, and ecological consequences of contaminants to marine organisms and ecosystems
– The biogeochemistry of naturally occurring and anthropogenic substances
– Models that describe and predict the above processes
– Monitoring studies, to the extent that their results provide new information on functional processes
– Methodological papers describing improved quantitative techniques for the marine sciences.

An International Journal for Microgravity and Space Exploration Related Research Platforms like drop towers, parabolic flights, sounding rockets, reentry capsules and orbiting platforms provide the unique environment of compensated gravity which can only be achieved on earth in very limited situations.The journal Microgravity - Science and Technology publishes papers describing the preparation, the performance and the evaluation as well as preliminary results of experiments on the above mentioned platforms. Applied Economic Perspectives and Policy publishes articles that achieve two objectives: to synthesize, integrate and analyze areas of current applied economic research within the mission of the AAEA in order to inform the decision-making and policy-making community; and to stimulate linkages between sub-fields of agricultural and applied economics in a way that illuminates and focuses future research and increases knowledge among researchers about the impact of public policy. Bioengineering (ISSN 2306-5354) provides an advanced forum for the science and technology of bioengineering. It publishes original research papers, comprehensive reviews, communications and case report.
