Fabula is an international medium of discussion for all issues relevant to historical and comparative folk narrative research. The journal contains eight sections: articles, shorter contributions, research and conference reports, information, reviews, bibliographical notes, books received, announcements of the ISFNR. The article section deals with the study of popular narrative tradition in its various forms (folktales, legends, jokes and anecdotes, exempla, fables, ballads, pictorial media, contemporary genres) and with the interrelationship between oral and literary traditions. Interest focuses on Europe and its spheres of influence, which does, however, not exclude contributions from other cultural areas.

Awareness of gender as a central feature of all aspects of everyday life and society has become more and more widespread. Appropriately social sciences research is reflecting this increasing concern with gender, especially in the field of work and organization where this journal is focused. Gender, Work & Organization is the first journal to bring together a wide range of interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary research in this field into a new international forum for debate and analysis. Contributions are invited from all disciplinary perspectives including anthropology, history, labour economics, law, philosophy, politics, psychology, and sociology.

Geografiska Annaler, Series A is a prestigious journal presenting new scientific results in the field of physical geography, glaciology and related subjects, with some emphasis on polar areas. The journal includes new ideas, methods and original research results which may stimulate work within various geo-sciences. Geografiska Annaler, Series A is supported by the Swedish Research Council. Also published by Wiley-Blackwell is Geografiska Annaler, Series B. Together these journals publish articles covering all theoretical and empirical aspects of physical (Series A) and human (Series B) geography. Although published in English, papers still retain a Scandinavian touch.

Psychological Injury and Law is a journal designed as a multidisciplinary forum for the dissemination of research articles and scholarly exchanges about issues pertaining to the interface of psychology and law in the area of trauma, injury, and their psychological impact. The journal intends to help build the evidentiary research base of the field, and to critically examine its concepts and practice. Psychological impairments and disabilities may arise from physical and/or mental injuries ascribed to alleged negligent actions. They need to be judiciously assessed for their validity, and treated when evaluated as valid. They lead to legal and related action when there are long term or permanent effects.

Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, the technical journal of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP), has been published regularly since 1889, as part of the ASP’s mission to advance the science of astronomy and disseminate astronomical information. The journal provides an outlet for astronomical results of a scientific nature and serves to keep readers in touch with current astronomical research. Global Responsibility to Protect is the premier journal for the study and practice of the responsibility to protect (R2P). This journal seeks to publish the best and latest research on the R2P principle, its development as a new norm in global politics, its operationalization through the work of governments, international and regional organizations and NGOs, and finally, its relationship and applicability to past and present cases of genocide and mass atrocities including the global response to those cases. Global Responsibility to Protect also serves as a repository for lessons learned and analysis of best practices; it will disseminate information about the current status of R2P and efforts to realize its promise. Each issue contains research articles and at least one piece on the practicalities of R2P, be that the current state of R2P diplomacy or its application in the field.

Heart Failure Reviews is an international journal which develops links between basic scientists and clinical investigators, creating a unique, interdisciplinary dialogue focused on heart failure, its pathogenesis and treatment. Human Psychopharmacology: Clinical and Experimental provides a forum for the evaluation of clinical and experimental research on both new and established psychotropic medicines. Experimental studies of other centrally active drugs, including herbal products, in clinical, social and psychological contexts, as well as clinical/scientific papers on drugs of abuse and drug dependency will also be considered. While the primary purpose of the Journal is to publish the results of clinical research, the results of animal studies relevant to human psychopharmacology are welcome. Occupational Therapy International is a peer-reviewed journal, publishing manuscripts that reflect the practice of occupational therapy throughout the world. Research studies or original concept papers are considered for publication. Priority for publication will be given to research studies that provide recommendations for evidence-based practice and demonstrate the effectiveness of a specific treatment method. Single subject case studies evaluating treatment effectiveness are also encouraged. Other topics that are appropriate for the journal include reliability and validity of clinical instruments, assistive technology, community rehabilitation, cultural comparisons, health promotion and wellness, surveys of treatment practices, historical reviews and meta-analyses that demonstrate treatment efficacy.

Oral Science International, a journal of the Japanese Stomatological Society, publishes original articles describing basic and clinical research on the cellular and molecular characterization, prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of oral diseases as well as those that contribute to the advancement of stomatology and its related fields. Oral Science International will receive materials prepared and submitted according to these instructions. Der Islam was founded in 1910 by Carl Heinrich Becker, whose scholarly career was devoted to the establishment of Islamic Studies as a mature scientific field dedicated to historical and cultural research, independent of the then-prevailing field of Oriental philology. The journal he established seeks to pursue similar goals by providing a critical scientific forum for the presentation of research pertaining to the history and culture of the Islamic world in both pre-modern and modern times. Der Islam encourages the exchange of ideas from all scholarly perspectives and is not committed to any particular methodological or ideological viewpoint. Papers will be accepted in German, English, and French.

Dermatitis is owned by the American Contact Dermatitis Society and is the home journal of 4 other organizations, namely Societa Italiana di Dermatologica Allergologica Professionale e Ambientale, Experimental Contact Dermatitis Research Group, International Contact Dermatitis Research Group, and North American Contact Dermatitis Group. Dermatitis focuses on contact, atopic, occupational, and drug dermatitis, and welcomes manuscript submissions in these fields, with emphasis on reviews, studies, reports, and letters.
