Archaeological and Anthropological Sciences aims to publish articles covering the full spectrum of natural scientific methods, which are now a fundamental part of modern archaeological research, with the emphasis on the archaeological contexts and the questions being studied. In this way it aims to bridge the gap between archaeologists and natural scientists providing a forum to encourage the continued integration of scientific methodologies in archaeological research. Topics include: Archaeology, Geology/Geophysical Prospection, Geoarchaeology, Geochronology, Palaeoanthropology, Archaeozoology and Archaeobotany, Genetics and other Biomolecules, Material Analysis and Conservation Science. The journal is endorsed by the German Society of Natural Scientific Archaeology and Archaeometry (GNAA), the Hellenic Society for Archaeometry (HSC), the Association of Italian Archaeometrists (AIAr) and the Society of Archaeological Sciences

Artificial Organs is the official peer reviewed journal of the International Federation for Artificial Organs, the International Faculty for Artificial Organs, and the International Society for Rotary Blood Pumps. Artificial Organs publishes original research articles dealing with research, developments, and clinical applications of artificial organs including organ replacement, recovery, and regeneration. Membership in the organizations listed above is not a prerequisite for publication. Articles are published without charge to the author except in certain circumstances such as color figures.

Boreas has been published since 1972. Articles of wide international interest from all branches of Quaternary research are published. Biological as well as non-biological aspects of the Quaternary environment, in both glaciated and non-glaciated areas, are dealt with: Climate, shore displacement, glacial features, landforms, sediments, organisms and their habitat, and stratigraphical and chronological relationships. BUILDING RESEARCH & INFORMATION (BRI) is a leading international refereed journal focussed on buildings and their supporting systems. Unique to BRI is a focus on a holistic, transdisciplinary approach to buildings and the complexity of issues involving the built environment with other systems over the course of their life: planning, briefing, design, construction, occupation and use, property exchange and evaluation, maintenance, alteration and end of life. The Bulletin of the History of Archaeology (BHA) was inaugurated over 20 years ago as a forum to exchange research, information on on-going projects, and resources devoted to a growing interest in the histories of archaeology. As this interest has grown, BHA has become global in reach, and has taken an increasingly expansive definition of its subject matter and its place within wider historical contexts. To this end, the journal publishes research not only on the histories of archaeology strictly defined, but also on the subject as it intersects with related histories like those of collecting, colonialism, exploration, fieldwork, heritage, and museums. Clinical and Experimental Pharmacology and Physiology provides a medium for the rapid publication of original research papers, short communications, rapid communications and theoretical articles (hypotheses) on the results of clinical and experimental work in pharmacology and physiology. Invited review articles are published occasionally. Cognitive Linguistics presents a forum for linguistic research of all kinds on the interaction between language and cognition. The journal focuses on language as an instrument for organizing, processing and conveying information. Computational Economics, the official journal of the Society for Computational Economics, presents new research at the interface of computer science and economic and management science. Contemporary Family Therapy: An International Journal (COFT) is a quarterly, peer-reviewed publication that presents the latest developments in practice, theory, research, and training in family and couple therapy.   Embracing international and multidisciplinary perspectives, COFT publishes applied and basic research with implications for theory, treatment, and policy. The Journal publishes STANDARD RESEARCH PAPERS on all aspects of the ecology of inland waters, including rivers and lakes, connected ground waters, flood plains and other wetlands. We accept studies of micro-organisms, algae, macrophytes, invertebrates, fish and other vertebrates, as well as those concerning whole ecosystems and related physical and chemical aspects of the environment. Studies may focus at any level in the ecological hierarchy from physiological ecology and animal behaviour, through population dynamics and evolutionary genetics, to community interactions and ecosystem functioning. They may also be at any scale, from microhabitat to landscape or biogeography. Preference is given to research, whether meta-analytical, experimental, theoretical or descriptive, that tests clearly stated hypotheses.
